So Considerate

A true test of any relationship is how well either party handles insecurity. These days, showbiz couples are always under scrutiny over whose career is more flourishing or who has more fans. Sometimes, fans would even compete over which partner has more following, box-office pull, acting skills, etc. Thus, the pressure to stay in a relationship can be very heavy for couples with external factors waiting in the wings.

When Upcoming Actress (UA) was often seen with Male Newbie (MN) sometime ago, fans speculated that the two had something special going on. Unlike other couples, UA and MN admitted their relationship. While UA has been given challenging acting assignments, MN has been waiting for his turn to show his individuality. Many actors have been paired with UA, but none emerged as a loveteam partner for her. Hence, she was better off alone and partnered with different performers.

With her many projects, UA’s time with MN was affected. As the cliché goes, strike while the iron is hot. UA is doing such and her commitments were coming one after the other. Meanwhile, MN hardly has any worthwhile project, which has caused him to be irritable. The feeling of not being prioritized over career got into MN and he became cranky toward UA. UA started to sense that MN was putting a tight rein around her. Their disagreements led to frequent fights.

As the resentment grew, during a heated argument, MN allegedly laid a hand on UA. That was the breaking point and they knew they had to part ways. When their social media posts showed more individual photos or with other people, fans asked if something was wrong. The rumor then spread that the two were done. Someone was brave enough to ask UA to set the record straight and she did. However, she no longer divulged the reason why they broke up. Close friends who knew their story could only admire UA for understanding what MN is undergoing and for not making their post-break up worse by divulging the reason or embarrassing MN.
