Sudden Change

When a project hits the hearts of consumers, expect positive responses from social media posts and measurable sales. Finding the right combination of personalities to promote products can be risky and pricey. However, one thing could speak clearly and smooth out any hesitations on the part of the chosen endorsers, and that is, the right price.

Sometime ago, emotions were high when an impossible feat was pulled by a company. Within a few seconds, social media sites were flooded with positive comments and praises for the project. Given the posts, the project did translate into sales, and Talent 1 (T1) and Talent 2 (T2) rejuvenated the hearts of their followers. Such coming together led to hope that T1 and T2 will be seen more often.

Then, one morning, followers were surprised that T1 deleted posts about T2. Speculations and conspiracy theories tried to explain the action of T1, who did not answer anything directly when asked about it. For social media users, deleting is merely part of the cycle that users go through, and thus, T1’s actions were negligible.

Nonetheless, rumors have it that the deletions of her posts had something to do with T2. Allegedly, T1 found out something that made her upset and she could not believe that someone got the better of her.

When the project was offered to T1, she like the idea, as the payment was good, the work was for a very short time, the company was one of her supporters, and her presence would be guaranteed all over media. Her fans would not have to badger her to become more visible, as the project would assure her exposure. So, she agreed. Meanwhile, T2 also liked the idea, but there was a catch. His days of playing second to T1 when it comes to fees were over, and he demanded for a higher fee if the company really wanted the project to push through. As money is not something the company can have trouble with, T2’s higher fee was approved. Secrets cannot be kept that long, and T1 found out that her payment was lower than T2’s. Feeling that she was unfairly treated, T1 showed her displeasure and removed most posts related to T2 and that project.

Recently, the company went on a nationwide campaign that involved all of the endorsers, except one was not around. Photos of the company endorsers were in their social media accounts, and T1 was missing. T1 and T2 were supposed to be together in that activity, but only T2 was around.
