Steadfast Family Allegiance

Whenever celebrities post photos or status updates on their social media accounts, netizens would always have a sense of which ones were accidentally posted or deliberately uploaded to stir their followers. Thus, when celebrities post photos that are raw and honest, followers either praise or bash them. Nonetheless, mileage has been achieved, posts can always be deleted, and the incident forgotten.

Many celebrities love posting in their social media accounts to keep their followers updated of their activities and to let the world know their opinion on issues. Sometimes, celebrities take time to reply, thank, and lecture their commenters. Overall, the posts create an image of the celebrity-owner on line and netizen reactions serve as a gauge of how loved or hated a celebrity is.

While some posts seem to be innocently done, other posts have interesting backstories. For instance, when a Party Host (PH) called her guests for a group photo, One Guest (OG) was hesitant, as she knew that PH loves to post photos in her social media accounts. OG anticipated that PH would post the photo and so she declined joining the group photo. However, a Close Friend (CF) of PH egged on OG to join them. Soon, other guests were prodding OG to join them and she gave in. The group photo was special, as the kids in the party were included.

A few days later, OG was no longer surprised at seeing that PH posted their photo, which was deleted after a few minutes. OG allegedly called PH, who apologized and said that the posting was accidental. Well, people who know of PH and CF were doubtful that the upload was not deliberate. Apparently, PH and CF are dismayed at the decision of OG that involved and hurt a close family friend. Since they all belonged to the same circle, casting out OG outright was bound to be awkward. However, the families of PH and CF are disappointed at OG as well and the two obviously know where to place their loyalty. Blood is always thicker than water in their case.
