So Much Loss for a Rejection
People could not help but notice the attitude of A Kin (AK) of a former Celebrated Talent (CT) toward Accomplished Celebrity (AC). AK is accommodating and welcoming of AC. AK could probably not help it, as AC comes from a family with famous names, reputation, and financial stability. Corollary to the behavior of AK, CT is proud to say that she finally had someone to present to her parents. However, the actions of AK are being spoken of behind her back because it reflected her character.
Sometime ago, AK embarrassed Young Actor (YA) when he first expressed interest in CT. AK raised an eyebrow and assessed if the boy were worthy of CT. As YA was still struggling with his career, AK was very lukewarm. At that time, CT was far more popular than YA, who did not even know if he would be given a break by their station. Moreover, YA had the guts to say he likes CT amidst her popular loveteam.
Although YA was well-mannered and unassuming, AK showed her disapproval and interfered in any potential opportunity for the two to develop any close relationship. Simply, YA did not have the money, the connections, and even education level to match the reputation of CT. Thus, he was rejected by AK. Meanwhile, CT had no choice, but to follow and just focus on the projects her network was giving her.
Rejected, YA moved away from CT. Things even worsened when YA was belittled. Even some fans of CT joined the foray and accused him of riding on the fame of CT at that time. Thus, he removed himself from the friend list of CT and tried to forget about her. Quietly, he felt sorry for himself, as he was a nothing compared to CT and his being poor was the reason.
Fate is funny and no one really knows what time could do to a person, who has patiently waited for that break. When YA was finally noticed, his dying career was revived. By contrast, the career of CT became stagnant, and her projects did not meet expectations. Rumors have it that CT tried to reconnect with YA, but efforts were futile. YA already realized the big change from how he was when he was enamored at CT, and the present, when everything he touches seems to turn gold. This time, things have turned.
