Over a month ahead of the scheduled hero's burial for former dictator Ferdinand Marcos, his casket has arrived at Batac City, Ilocos Norte.
The confidentially priced, solid bronze casket was ordered from the U.S. and was picked by former First Lady Imelda Marcos herself, mortician Dr. Frank Malabed said.

Due to preparations for the burial, the Marcos Mausoleum will be closed to public until Wednesday.
Before Marcos is buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani, funeral services will be held in Paoay and Batac churches.
On Sunday, the Department of National Defense (DND) issued a formal memorandum instructing the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) to plan and prepare Marcos' interment.
In a memorandum dated August 7, Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana ordered AFP Chief of Staff General Ricardo Visaya to "undertake the necessary planning and preparations to facilitate" the interment of the late dictator at the heroes' cemetery.
Lorenzana said the memorandum was pursuant to President Rodrigo Duterte's verbal order to implement his election promise to inter Marcos's remains at the Libingan ng Mga Bayani.
The Philippine Veterans Affairs Office was designated as the overseer and focal agency for the transfer of remains.

Repost: Recommendations to Ban Donald Trump from Entering the Philippines After Calling the Country a 'Terrorist Nation' Gaining Ground

Donald Trump is proving his incompetence in foreign affairs all too well!
On Monday, a lawmaker in the Philippines filed a resolution that seeks to permanently ban the Republican presidential candidate from entering the country!
This legislation comes on the heels of Trump's campaign speech last week in which he named the Southeast Asian country as one of the "terrorist nations."
During a rally in Portland, Maine, the 70-year-old once again spread the fear-injecting bread and butter of his campaign with yet another swipe on how immigrants were plotting to kill Americans.
Trump said countries sending such people were the Philippines, Somalia, Syria, Morocco, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan and Yemen, adding:
"We're letting people come in from terrorist nations that shouldn't be allowed because you can't vet them. There's no way of vetting them. You have no idea who they are. This could be the great Trojan horse of all time."
After the Thursday speech, Filipino Congressman Joey Sarte Salceda filed a resolution in Manila's House of Representatives, which reads:
"There is no feasible basis or reasonable justification to the wholesale labeling of Filipinos as coming from a ‘terrorist state' or they will be a Trojan horse. This comes from a long line of pronouncements where he has demonstrated an unrepentantly negative, dysfunctionally nativist, aggressively adversarial attitude towards immigrants in the U.S. where he aspires to be the leader."
There are nearly 4 million people of Filipino descent living in the U.S., who form the second largest population of Asian Americans in the country.
So it looks like Trump is doing a great job of alienating yet another culture just to feed the hate of the Hitler Youth his supporters.
