Is This the Final Goodbye?

For several years, this celebrity couple has been rumored to split up, but photos of the couple having a good time would resurface the next day. Thus, all seemed to be well. However, these days, both are now singing a different tune, as the couple called it quits.

The former lovers are two of the hottest faces in their respective fields. The Ex-Partner (EP) has been under the watchful eyes of media and other kibitzers since he was introduced to the public. Since his family has always been in the limelight, he was expectedly followed by people. Nonetheless, EP attempted to make a name for himself and not rely on the connections of his parents. His venture was successful, and he was welcomed in showbusiness. He was articulate and had good hosting skills. However, he opted not to be too visible in media and ditched any acting offers.

Meanwhile, Former Flame (FF) comes from a low profile society family, with a few relatives dabbling in showbusiness. Since she transformed into a beauty, FF has been a popular figure even while studying at an elite school, where she had already earned a reputation for notoriety. Since FF and EP move in the same circle, they developed closeness and eventually fell in love. Although he comes from a well-to-do family, EP would give FF simple and inexpensive gifts, which had more meaning than the price tags.

Nonetheless, theirs was not a smooth relationship, as they have indeed broken up in the past and FF was the one who made the effort for reconciliation. As FF is busier than EP, EP felt that FF was not giving him enough time, which led him initially calling the breakup. Realizing that she was at fault, FF exerted effort to win him back. Stories have it that she even went as far as reaching out to the matriarch to be endeared to the family of EP.

Yet, the latest breakup was inevitable. EP could have gotten tired of FF, as she is busier than ever, with various shows she has committed to do and a recent issue that could affect her career. Worse, FF is already dating a rich foreigner, perhaps, someone who can freely afford to give her what she wants materially. As to whom between EP and FF could benefit from the breakup is anyone’s guess. The actions of FF are a far cry from her stand that EP could be the one, which was why she devoted time to win him back previously.
