Zealous Actor (ZA) belongs to the elite group of talents who have decided to spend some time abroad to hone their craft. Thus, when ZA returned, his coworkers felt that he had imbibed much of what was taught him, which bordered on doing the roles a bit too much. Nonetheless, ZA just wanted to show to everyone that he could rise beyond criticisms that he could not act.
Nonetheless, ZA has a bigger problem, which has allegedly caused his screen partners to prepare for the worse. Because ZA exudes a sexy image, kissing and intimate scenes with actresses are unavoidable. Thus, actresses who are privy to the rumor can only attempt to be creative in avoiding the problem. Of course, these actresses are also careful not to embarrass ZA as well as not follow instructions from the director.
The project that ZA is involved in requires several scenes of being close to his female leads. One of them, Reinvented Talent (RT) had a scene with ZA. Aware of the reputation of ZA, RT asked ZA if he wanted menthol candy to make their kissing more comfortable. ZA refused. Sadly, RT could not reveal her true motive in attempting to give the piece of candy to ZA. Thus, their scene went on and RT could only pretend that she was comfortable and tolerant of the smell of ZA.
As for ZA, his attitude is that he just does what is being asked from him by his role. If he is asked to show intensity, he will do his best, and his partner in the scene should be at par with him. Work is work, and ZA will be taken for what he brings to the set. Now, someone has to advise him to clean up the residue of habits that remained in his system. Filipino culture frowns upon celebrities who do not smell fresh, and ZA has to work on that.
