I Want Me Back!

It seems like it was just months ago when Talented Performer TP decided to jump ship and moved from Network A NA to Network B NB. TP lamented that he needed an avenue to express himself more, especially in the field of acting which he was not getting from NA. He was also anxious of the fact that he felt his career was getting nowhere under NA.

Not a few eyebrows were raised at such decision of TP. Insiders remarked that his move would eventually do him more than good. To them, there’s nothing like NA as far as handling and managing stars are concerned. But TP believed otherwise. He felt like his stars were not shining under NA and that he deserved something more. He made known his desire to be built up more in Asia which he believed NB would be able to provide – or so he thought.

When he and his camp inked the contract with NB, it was believed that the provisions were laid right down pat and TP got a good end of the bargain. NB was faithful and made good its promise to give him the kind of shows that he wanted. TP was content – until some talks started to surface lately.

Reportedly, TP has began sending feelers this early to NA that he wanted to go back to the network that nurtured him. Allegedly, he is very disappointed at how his career has turned from bad to worse. He bewailed the fact that in so short a time under NB, he had a television series that ended so soon, an album and a television show that flopped, among others.

Allegedly, TP coursed his feelers through a fellow artist under NA. When TP’s word got to the NA Executive NE, she reportedly said, “ No, we are not getting him back. He has to learn a lesson. Unlike NB, we at NA can very well sell an album even of non-singing stars, and TP knows that, but he chose to be with NB, so be it. “ Ouch, what now, TP?

NE’s reaction may have something to it that only she and TP know. At any rate, she was right. Observers say that in terms of promotions and reach, NA still remains unmatched in the industry.
