At a weekly variety show, most stars share dressing rooms owing to their big number. As such, it can not be avoided that ones' belongings get misplaced, picked up by mistake or get lost all together.

In several of their episodes, reality search winner young star YS1 often complained of having lost some of her stuff and couldn't pinpoint why and where it had all gone. First, she lost her pricey lipstick, then the following week, it's some other make-up item again, then another. She has lost countless pieces of make-up stuff.

Turns out, there's a real culprit behind it all. Just when she thinks it's safe enough, another young star, YS2 (who is 'supposedly' close with YS1 ) gets busy with YS1's bag hauling stuff that interest her. But as it's said, someday, somehow, you will meet your comeuppance..sooner than you think.

One fine episode day, again in the dressing room, YS2 was caught red-handed "sweeping" away YS1's stuff placed on top of the make-up area towards YS2's bag. Oh, those fingers/hands right inside the cookie jar, what can be more damning? Soon YS2 gave a silly excuse that it was an honest mistake, as she thought it was all her own stuff she was putting away. Was it really an honest mistake or something ill-intentioned?

Oh well, there will always be endless lies and excuses. Let's tell them to the marines then.

Going Beyond Help

While much has been written about this Intense Actor (IA) succumbing to his old habits, have people done enough to help IA get out of his struggle? A few days ago, at his new network's party, showbiz was rocked with another incident of IA’s notorious drunkenness. At the event, alcohol flowed freely, of course. IA, who after undergoing rehabilitation for months and promised on television that he would reform, could not help himself. What was worse was the alleged story that IA actually brought his own stash at the party. To review the events, IA in his drunkenness turns into his Jekyll mode and reacts regardless of who gets hurt. He stole a kiss from a socialite/TV host (SH), then calls “cheap” and threatens to hurt well-loved beki personality (BP), and even challenged a young dramatic actor of the network.

Of course, the three did not want to let the incident pass, but they knew better than to argue with a drunk. Moreover, a few weeks ago, his family has appealed for understanding as IA is also suffering from bipolarism. IA was lucky that the boyfriend of SH was not around or else, there might have been an unwanted confrontation. After cooler heads intervened, IA realized what he did was wrong and apologized to the three. Then, in an interview regarding the incident, IA denied of any wrongdoing in the event. However, instead of fanning the flame again, the three continued to forgive IA.

It is sad that IA, who happens to be one of the most talented and versatile actors of his generation, could not seem to rise above his struggles. After his personal tragedies that came one after the other, he has allowed himself to be defeated again. What could really be troubling IA all these years? Lately, stories about his behaviour are coming out as speculations. The most surprising story is that he was allegedly taken advantage of while he was languishing in jail sometime ago. Of course, no one will talk about this allegation as what happens in jail, stays in there.

The only thing IA definitely loves is his career, but if he refuses to accept that his alcoholism is his big problem, he might lose that as well. Although the industry can be forgiving, it can only take so much. One word from management, and IA can just disappear into oblivion. He needs to face his problems head on, accept his losses, and cut clean. At the rate he's going, his reputation is already deplorable and pitiful.

Only a few actors have sunk so low and made successful comebacks. One is now a politician, another is the premier dramatic actress, and a comedian turned versatile actress. They have revelled in their lives, until they realized that taxes, bankruptcy, alcohol, gambling, and drugs have consumed them. Then, they woke up with the help of people who dared to believe in them at the lowest point of their lives. The rest, like IA, need people who will continue to have faith in them, but before looking for others, IA should look into himself first.

It seems that infatuated actress (IA) has a favorite vegetable for her 'yaya' and helpers. IA would buy pails of Vigna unguiculata (L.) Walp. subsp. sesquipedalis or yard long beans, or whatever you call it, 'sitaw' will always be 'sitaw.' Then, she will have them cooked and frozen. For the next two weeks or until supply lasts, 'sitaw' would be the staple viand for her entire household staff. As to why she loves 'sitaw,' we can only guess. Definitely, buying them fish or meat will get her love points.

One day, IA locked out her maids while she was out taping. The poor maids had to wait it out and slept in the garage until IA returned. They did not even have access to food. The door of the house was only opened when IA arrived. IA's excuse was that she forgot to leave her house keys and only realized it when she was already too far away.

In another incident, her road manager (RM) came in a few minutes late for IA's out-of-town shoot. IA already left the house and was already on the road to the shoot. RM thus got on a cab and instructed the driver to go fast and chase IA's car. Thankfully, they were able to reach her at the stop light, such that the cab and IA's car were already beside each other. But to RM's dismay, IA would not open the car to let her in. She was so deaf to RM's pleadings and the cab's repeated honking. When RM realized the futility of her appeal, she had no choice but to take the same cab to get her to the far away location shoot. Needless to say, that meant a sizeable amount of fare money.

Unlike some other popular personalities, IA is never known to have violent streaks towards her helpers. She comes from a well-off family background and she is one of the more popular showbiz personalities. A star of her status, with huge talent fees, she can, at the very least, provide her helpers comfort and care.

Will there come a time that IA live up to her name in treating her help right? Remember, unlimited loyalty is something not feasible with just  unlimited 'sitaw' supply.

In the story, Angel (as Grace) is a single mom to Botchok (Miguel Vergara) and girlfriend to Zanjoe’s character Tristan. Grace is a loving mother who would sacrifice everything to save her son who is suffering from a rare blood condition. When things get worse, she had no choice but reconnect with Edward (Dingdong) who is her son’s biological father. Edward is married to a successful and powerful woman, Jacqueline (Angelica). All she needs from him is to help her save their son.

Edward and Jacq have no child and when the latter learned of her husband’s predicament, she gave her permission to Edward to help Grace in her quest to save their son. But there was only one option for their son to be cured: they have to have another child - to be conceived the natural way! Which made us recall the plot of the novel (which was made into a movie) “My Sister’s Keeper.” The couple in the movie had to conceive another daughter to provide the blood, bone marrow and even her kidney in order to save her sister’s life.
