The Celebrity's Repulsive Act

Camera-friendly celebrity (CF) has always managed to keep an elegant look. She is photogenic and has kept her physique and looks young despite her age and the personal trials she has undergone. CF is articulate, it is no wonder why she is a favorite in social networking sites. As a high-profile celebrity in her own right, her actions are often magnets for intrigue.

Hence, it did not surprise a few when she threw a fit while doing a photoshoot for an ad of a high-end beauty brand. CF was fuming at the cameraman RM for shooting her in her bad and unflattering angle. Disgusted, she told RM to change angles as she felt she was not pretty enough in his angling of her. Then, she ordered and threatened RM that he better shoot right or else if she sees the ad comes out with her looking awful, she would have him fired from his job. Why was CF so over-reacting and very  particular over her angling? It seemed that she did not like that  RM was shooting and focusing that side that showed her flabby tummy. Poor camera guy.

Incidentally, during a taping of a show, CF was caught on camera spitting at the monitor of her mobile phone then wiping it with her bare hands. Eww! Lucky for her that the show was pre-recorded and so her unsanitary blunder could be edited out. Was she trying to make the screen clearer or was she so frustrated at what she read that she had to spit at the message? Despite her projection of class and elegance, CF can really be the opposite during her unguarded moments.

And the Winner is .......

When playboy actor (PA) admitted that he and his former leading lady (FL) were an item, kibitzers predicted they would not last long. After all, PA has had several girlfriends and he just could not keep them.
However, it seems that FL was different. They were seen together and had their private escapades as well. Both seemed genuinely happy. Then, after the admission of the relationship, PA and FL kept a low profile.

Now, barely a year after, PA came out and admitted that their relationship is over. Yet, he refused to divulge the reason.Typically, all fingers pointed to the manager as the cause of the breakup. So, what was the cause of the breakup?

Allegedly, PA asked his manager if he could marry FL. The manager said marriage would result in career suicide. Then, here’s the punch line – the manager will let go of PA if he defies him and continues with his
marriage plans. Obviously, PA loves his career and values his manager more than FL. Thus, it was goodbye to her.

FL might be nursing a broken heart at this moment, but at the very least, she saw the true nature of PA early in their relationship. Could she have survived being second or third priority in FL’s list? She’s young, pretty, and talented, and she even finished school. Hopefully, she could move on soon and find a better man than
PA.

Poll: Must Anne Curtis Be Too Sensitive of Her Family's History?

A Twitter user had labeled Anne Curtis Smith's mother as a Pinay maid and her father as an Aussie loser guy. Both descriptions of her parents were vehemently denied by Anne in her tweets. She said that her mom may not have come from an affluent background, but she was not a maid.

Kiss His Assumptions Goodbye

In one interview, young, popular actress PA was asked who among the actors from other networks she finds cute and sexy. PA answered she likes pretty boy hunk PB. People present were surprised at her choice. When told of this, PB was very flattered to be chosen by PA, her network's prized star. As a show of gratitude, he sent her flowers. She was surprised when she received it. However she took it warmly and thanked him.

Days passed, and suddenly PB finds himself sending flowers to PA again - this time the flowers were accompanied by chocolates. What was that? A follow-up thank you? Or is he assuming that PA might be into him? People close to PA couldn't help but find PB trying too hard and his actions suspicious. They contend that just because PA is popular, PB might want to milk it and take advantage. Then maybe flirt and court her after? You know how it is in showbizlandia -- every action is suspect -- especially when it involves high profile stars. But does PB really have plans of courting PA? Isn't he rumored to be playing sweet music with the daughter of a former action star from a rival network?

Whatever PB's motive was with those flowers, everything remains to be seen. For now, PA's management prefer to keep mum about the matter and chose to not magnify it. After all, they probably know that they have nothing to gain from it. And for them, PB is not a big a star to be taken seriously.

Only PB knows for sure what his intention is. For the meantime, we can watch if he is going to have his cake and eat it, too.

Unfitting Gesture of the Verbose Manager

Sometime ago, manager of a young artist (YA) got an invitation for YA to sing at a tween's birthday party. The event organizer  EV and the manager MA haggled for YA's talent fee until they were able to bring it down to half. The deal would be for YA to sing two songs  and he had to be onstage as soon as he arrived. YA had taping on that day and he would just be pulled out from there for the birthday gig. And deal was sealed.

The day came and EV felt relief when he saw YA coming. Suddenly, EV was informed that MA was going to do YA's  introduction to the guests who were mostly his young fans. Although that was not part of the agreement, EV agreed as MA is a popular figure, anyway.

But how EV regretted having agreed. They never expected that MA would do a different kind of introduction. As it turned out, it was himself whom MA introduced and lengthily at that.  He hogged the microphone and talked in detail about his life in the  theatre, vaudeville, and that of his being a clown. The guests were dumbfounded and annoyed, as they could not understand and connect to what MA was talking about. His kilometric talk was alien to the young crowd who were in their tweens (9-14 years old). EV thought MA's talk could have been appropriately addressed to the grandparents. Then after what seemed like forever, MA finally introduced his talent YA...to everybody's relief!

It was found out later that MA really does the "introduction" even in YA's mall shows.  And he now requires that he be part of the package deal in all of YA's out of town shows.

Although MA has his advocacy of reviving the charm and glamor of the olden times, he ought to know that every talk targets a particular audience. Grandparents in their '70's  up will more likely relish the beauty of the bygone era and not the ipad-iphone tweens generation where K-Pop is king.
