Rebounding on the Rebound

After the turmoil sometime ago, she found solace in the arms of the son of a controversial politician. Although the son was not a public figure, he and the politician were dragged into her public struggle for a few weeks. As the controversy refused to die, she stayed quiet and disappeared from the public scene for a while. Everyone thought she found happiness and peace in that guy. However, that is not the case. She had recently dropped him and is now seeing someone new. This new love interest is someone who has survived his own crisis as well.

Will this new relationship merit a series of tweets? Let's wait and see.

Riding on the High Horse

Last Friday, the production team and the hosts of this variety had to tape some of the segments for Monday's show. Taping for a live show requires more patience on the part of the hosts compared to airing show live. To maximize the daylight, the male host was requested to speed up his segment. Out of frustration, he got angry at one of his female co-hosts. The head tried to talk to him but he blurted at her, too, and walked out.

The production team and the other hosts got frustrated with his attitude. Even the director did not like what the host did. The host did not even bother to consider that they were half-way done with the taping and his walking out cost the production delays, not to mention having to make adjustments as he would have to be written out in some segments. Come Monday, his segment will be missing from the show (unless he changed his mind and decided to go back again).

A Case of Blackmail?

Do you still wonder why a network still gave controversial personality (CP) her own show despite the shelving of an original show intended for her and her interesting revelations? Allegedly, the network was pressured because the management of CP threatened to pull out two bankable talents from the network if CP were left in the cold.

The buzz is that the network is not inclined to believe that CP will bring the ratings for the new show. However, the network cannot afford to lose the other two performers. Will the new show redeem CP and give her image a fresh look or will the network be right after all?

Denying but Not Hiding?

This photo shows a controversial couple (CC) and a child walking in a high-end shopping district. Witnesses said they were shopping for gifts together and had just stepped out of a toy and hobby store. This photo was taken late last year.

Recently, showbiz followers were caught unaware when the news finally exploded that CC was having an affair. Both denied ever going beyond being acquaintances and seeing each other. She issued her denial via an interview, while he went online. Then, neither could be accessible anymore when witnesses contradicted their stories.

Both share something more than the denial of a relationship between them. At any rate, he probably found her accent alluring, while she could not resist his scent.

Going Back On Her Word

The gorgeous model and her manager had agreed for her to be an endorser of a personal use product (P1). The finalization of the contract took some time as one of the business partners of P1 was in Europe. Three weeks later, P1 got back to the model for the signing.  The P1 owners were shocked when the model said, “No!” In addition, the model commented that the offer was low and that she does not know the brand. At the time of the offer, the model only had one endorsement. The people of P1 were very disappointed in the model as she already said “Yes,” but her change of mind showed she has no word of honor.

Manila Hails Lucy Hale

This February, Manila welcomes Lucy Hale with Bench formally introducing her as the brand’s newest American celebrity endorser through a press conference. The actress is known for her roles as Becca Sommers inBionic Woman, Rose Baker in Privileged, Sherrie in the horror film Scream 4, and her latest as Aria Montgomery on the hit ABC family series Pretty Little Liars. Lucy Hale has already filled her CV with a string of acting roles but other than that, the actress can also sing, as seen on the search show American Juniors.

Currently busy with her role in Pretty Little Liars, she takes time out of her schedule abroad to visit Manila for a press conference as one of Bench’s newest endorsers. Though she is arriving on the 9th of February, the press conference will be held on February 11 at the SMX Convention Center located at the Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. Invited journalists, magazine editors, bloggers and other guests will also be witnessing a fashion show brought to them by the retail brand.

The brand surely knows how to recognize young talents like Lucy Hale. To date, Bench has a prestigious list of young celebrity endorsers both on the local and international front. Only 23 years old, Lucy Hale fits right in with the brand’s personality. Bench didn’t just choose a new pretty face. It’s that beauty that she has on the inside and that brimming talent are what compliment what she is on the outside, making her a total package.

This young actor was noticed because of his portrayal of various roles in the drama shows of his network. Although he is quite new in show business, he already earned an award for his acting. He looks good and his eyes show a boyish appeal that attracts fans. This actor has excellently portrayed several gay roles as well.

Little do the fans know that he draws from reality the emotions he puts in his roles. The young actor has a boyfriend. The tragedy to this story is that the young actor always threatens to slash his wrists every time his boyfriend wants to end their relationship.
