The relationship of media personality 1 (MP1) and media personality 2 (MP2) is over. Initially, the management wanted MP1 and MP2 to fix their feud but MP1 refused. To make MP2’s life a bit miserable, MP1 issued an ultimatum: "I will leave if MP2 stays" or something close to that.

Their misunderstandings were perhaps caused by the pressures of fame, personality differences, or the nature of the show. Sometimes, the guestings do not turn out to the liking of MP1. At one point, MP1 threw a fit off air but in front of the guests. MP1 rattled she could not stand MP2 anymore and threatened to quit. However, the bosses heard a different story from MP1. MP1 claimed MP2 embarrassed her. Yet, the people who saw what happened know the truth.

MP2 cannot really make a big fuss. Although MP2 has a name, MP1 is more popular these days. The sudden attention given to MP1 has led to an increase in the ratings of their show, which MP2 acknowledges.Thus, to let the show not suffer further, MP2 gave in. The redeeming factor is that MP2 might host another show within the next few months.

This actress booked a make-up artist (MUA) for an event the next day. Even if it were late, the road manager (RM) sent a message to MUA. MUA did not hesitate even though it was his day off on the day of the event. When MUA was already in the event grounds, he received a text from RM saying his services were not needed because the sponsors provided their own make-up artists. Of course, MUA was irritated and felt that he was treated as a mere spare tire.

MUA is not an ordinary beautician in the industry. Though still young, MUA had training abroad and studied his profession. He even has an impressive portfolio of his works. Sometime ago, MUA even got into a bit of controversy when he was criticized for making a teen-age performer look much older than she really was.

Avoiding the Wrath

The event called for celebrities to donate voluntarily for the charity auction. One personality donated a designer bag, which was successfully sold at the auction. The said designer bag fetched a huge sum from a buyer. A few days after, the buyer demanded a reimbursement of the amount as the designer bag was not authentic. Thus, the winning amount was way too much for the bag.

Quietly, the organizers reimbursed the buyer but they opted not to relay the incident to the personality. No one among them dared to talk to the personality. The personality can be emotionally wrathful, and the auction organizers did not want to experience this.

Boorish Endorser

Some time ago, two endorsers (E1 and E2), a manager (M), a columnist (C), an ad agency (A), and a product (P) got into a controversy. C wrote that E1 walked out because E2 got on her nerves. A few days later, M called for a presscon to clear the name of E2. In interviews, E1 repeated that she has never walked out on any of her commitments. A even issued a letter that put C on the spot. So, what did really happen?

It was true that there was a walkout but it did not involve E1.

First, let us look at the demands. On taping day, E2 criticized the wardrobe for the shoot. Then, she complained that the venue was too warm and the aircon was not enough. Moreover, she questioned why there was only one dressing room. When the husband of E1 sensed the tension, he took it upon himself to bring down the stuff of his wife so as not to bother the production staff. Then, he was warned not to let E1 go to the dressing room as E2 was in a fit. E1 had to change in the common comfort room.

Second, here is the answer as to who really walked out. As a way to lessen the tense atmosphere, the staff of A went up to see E2. Each one approached E2, who was seated in a corner with her head bowed down and they greeted her. The head handed her a gift. E2 replied at the top of her voice, “Thank you for the gift but you’re stressing me out!”

The head paused, stared at E2, and walked out. The staff followed. Before shutting the door, the head said, “That woman is very rude. Mal educada!” This dialogue was said loud enough for E2 to hear.

Hence, there was indeed a walkout and it was really because of E2.

Exhausted!

In an event sometime ago, the production crew realized that one of the models, a young actor with a nice physique, was the only one who had yet to be made up. The call time was 12 pm for blocking and other production instructions. By 3 pm, all except for this young actor were already prepared for the show. The show was starting in two hours and he was still missing.

Incidentally, the crew saw the young actor asleep in one of the holding rooms. The make up artist asked the young actor if he had just arrived. The young actor gave him the attitude and replied, “No! I have been here for some time. No one bothered to look for me!”

Of course, the make-up artist just kept quiet. The young actor must really be that exhausted for him to hide and get some sleep.

In a fashion event last week, a lifestyle columnist (LC) was seen digging into the salad while models were doing their catwalk on the ramp. In the dimly lit area of the tent, LC stood in front of the food table and bent over the main bowl of the salad greens. He was picking and dipping the leaves with his bare hands. 

LC must have been so hungry that he forgot his plate, fork, and manners as well. Perhaps, the salad was so delicious that the socialite in him completely forgot people could see how distasteful he was in eating from the main salad bowl.

The young couple broke up recently and the actor openly admitted the end of their relationship. He even went on air to tell the viewers of a talk show that he was the one who ended it. On the contrary, it was the singer-actress who broke up with him. However, he beat her into saying it first.

Stories have it that the actor often looked down at the singer-actress. She felt that he was getting too insensitive with what he was saying and how he was treating her. Since the actor is the prized catch of the TV station, as proven by his successive projects (never mind the ratings), his ego has affected their relationship. He would tell her to catch up with his status. He made her feel she was not worth his stature.

When they were on location, fans swarmed around the actor to have photos with him. The singer-actress stepped aside. When the fans left, the actor reprimanded her for leaving him. What is ironic is that his big ego is quite the opposite of what he is known for.

The actress made a big fuss when a car blocked her parking slot at the high-end condominium where she and her actor boyfriend are rumored to be staying. She called the attention of the guards and threatened them. She even asked if they did not know her. Then, she eventually said she was ______. Of course, such scandalous behavior was uncalled for in such a ritzy place.

In another incident, in a mall near the same condo, an elderly woman approached the said actress and asked if she could have a picture together. The actress obliged but her face said otherwise. While the elderly woman talked to her, the actress avoided all eye contact. Is that not showing disrespect?
