The TV host/actor owned a networking business engaged in telecommunications. He hired a contractor to do all the paper ads,tarps, stickers, fliers, etc. He paid the first 50% at the onset of the transaction. The contractor delivered but the tv host/actor did not. The agent tried to collect the balance but it was quite a useless challenge. The business of the tv host/ actor went down and he left the contractor unpaid with around 80k.

What's Her Preference?

Her godmother warned that questions or comments from the press regarding this young celebrity's (YC) sexuality are to be ignored. However, rumors are quite persistent that something more is happening between her and a female foreign member (FM) of her entourage.

Recently, a friend overheard FM sweetly saying to YC, "oh baby, you are getting wet" (or something to that effect), when YC just got out of the rain. Later, the friend sent a message to YC to ask if YC and FM are more than friends. YC immediately blocked her friend on Twitter.

Is this action a defensive confirmation that something is indeed going on? Your guess is as good as mine.

Letter from a Reader: Not an Amiable Place

Dear Fashion PULIS,

Let me share our unfortunate incident in paradise with you and your readers. I hope this serves as a warning to all your readers.

Upon arrival, our group saw a placard having the name of the guests held by the driver of this resort. The group was informed that the transfer was part of our package and that we should ride with him. The group cancelled its pre-arranged booking with a certain transport company and opted for a more comfortable ride with the resort driver. The European owner even went to pick up the group at the jetty port.

While asking the front desk about additional charges for transfers to Kalibo en route to Manila, the European owner told the group to pay for the earlier transfers. To cut the long story short, the resort staff made a mistake and even apologized over the phone and sent the organizer of the group an apology letter stating that they will waive all transport fees due to the miscommunication.

At the end of the trip, after settling the bill consisting of accomodation, food, massages, bar expenses, etc.- which amounted to more than 300,000 pesos, the owner demanded the group to pay the one way transfers amounting to less than 10,000 pesos. After a long, heated argument, explaining to him that it was his transport staffs fault, he let the group leave his resort right away. Pointing to the door, he said, "Thank you for cheating me a few thousands" the European owner said in front of his staff, other guests, and the kids.

The group gave them good business and he opted to be rude and unprofessional to his customers. By the way, he also reprimanded the kids for running around the beach with the resort's beach towels. We also noticed that he seemed friendlier to his American and European guests. Call it discrimination?

Lastly, 5 people in our group were food poisoned after eating in this resort's restaurant. How bad can it get?

Their back-to-back dance numbers delighted the studio audience. As they were being interviewed, he kept his cool and just smiled. Her face changed when the emcees positioned them to be nearer. The tension can be felt because she could not smile and avoided eye contact with him. As the camera panned, the other performers kept screaming and making gestures for them to kiss. They shook hands but the teasing continued. He moved to her and planted a kiss on her cheek.

Not Seen on TV

At the backstage, the girl was hysterically crying as if someone close to her had died. People noticed her and she is not denying that she indeed cried. She even said there is nothing to worry about.

Did she cry because she is still hurting for being left just coldly? Did she weep because she realized he is missing in her life? Your guess is as good as mine.

Just Mind the Kids

The girl and the boy are not confirming they are more than friends. First, the girl is finally getting her breaks. Sadly, her lead role did not do well. Now, she's paired off with the golden boy of her mother studio. Press releases have been trying to paint them together. Sorry, he's not the one. The true love of the girl never denies he has a crush on her but it seems he's being groomed to be a serious actor who can tackle challenging roles. Both of them share something in common other than belonging to the same network.

Incidentally, the mother of this girl is behaving like she deserves diva treatment. Firing a few drivers and falsely accusing them can hurt the girl's image. Her being over protective of the girl might be blinding her from the truth that the girl is not a kid anymore.

Keeping Cover of Perfect Perception

He has remained quiet throughout the controversy and amidst public pressure. All recent press releases about him only talk about his latest teleserye. Yet, the production people behind his teleserye feel he is becoming uncooperative by being unavailable for taping. In fact, the airing of the teleserye is already delayed. The production people think that he is just letting the controversy die down. Perhaps, he also wants to avoid questions from the reporters, who regularly visit his tapings. Definitely, they will prod him into giving his opinion immediately.

Reliable sources informed Fashion Pulis that he will be absent from his show this weekend. Had he shown up, he would have had a reunion of sorts with the other controversial celebrity (CC). He and CC were going to be included in the opening number of the show. He might still be in pain and cannot stand to be with CC even for a few minutes.

Are his absence and silence a ploy to keep his cover in perfect perception? What do you think? Please share your thoughts. 

She's Never Gonna be Ready!

A Fashion PULIS reader writes about her experience in watching a talk show live. While in an earlier show, they were requested to stay on to be the audience for the next show since there was a dire need for an audience. They agreed and waited.

Feeling hunger as they have yet to eat since they were at the studio at 7:00 am, they asked if they could step out to eat. Production people refused and kept saying that the show will start anytime soon. By 1:30 pm, the show has not yet started because according to the production people, the female host needed more time to fix herself.

The reader hopes that the celebrities, who are the reasons why they accepted the invitation to stay, can be a bit considerate and not have fans wait for hours. The same goes with the production people.

A Fashion Pulis reader shared an elevator ride with this certain actress yesterday at around 3:20 am. According to this reader, the actress must have been on her way to the condo unit of this actor who lives in the building.

What was the actress doing there at 3:20 in the morning? Did she go to the actor's place just to chill with him? Your guess is as good as mine.

Sticky Moments

This young actress was invited to perform at a company's Christmas party. In one of the rehearsals with the employees, she arrived four hours late. Then, she demanded for a change in the last part of her performance with matching expletives. At first, she was nice to her fellow performers, but once she learned her routine, her negative "jologs" attitude prevailed.

On the day of the party, she even refused to share dressing rooms. When she got near one of the dancers in costume, she rudely commented about the smell, again with matching !@#@#! Consequently, the other performers got turned off with her attitude. Her pretty and sweet face cannot hide the stickiness of the situation.
