Goods Disappearing from the Makeup Counter

Last week, this actress passed by a certain cosmetic store in a mall somewhere in Makati to check out its latest makeup collection. The male beauty consultant who was attending to the actress is a neophyte and he did not know that she loves to slip items in her pocket. True enough, when the actress left the store, he noticed that the makeup brush disappeared from the makeup counter.

A female beauty consultant from a nearby cosmetic store followed the actress to the restroom when she noticed her coming out of the neighboring store. In the restroom, she witnessed the actress taking out a makeup brush from her pants pocket and putting it inside her handbag.

When the female beauty consultant got out of the restroom, she rushed to the neighboring store to speak to the male beauty consultant. She asked him if the makeup brush from his makeup counter was missing. When he answered her yes, she told him that the actress took it.

The male beauty consultant was so scared to lose his job so he immediately rang the head office to report this incident. Thanks to the statement of the female beauty consultant, the missing makeup brush will not be deducted from his salary. Apparently, the name of this actress is already synonymous to shoplifting among beauty consultants in this mall.

The truth of the matter is he has been dating this flight attendant for more than four years now. Since this steward is based in the Middle East, he only gets to spend time with the singer whenever he has flights to Manila. This maybe one of the reasons why their relationship is always on and off.

Almost a decade ago, this singer also dated a public servant when he was just starting his career in show business. Back then, whenever he had a concert in his hometown, this public servant would make it a point to be present to show his love and support for him.

Letter From a Reader: Refused Responsibilites

Dear Fashion PULIS,

I know how effective and powerful your blog has become. I am a frequent client of this certain salon and some of its employees have become close to my heart. I hope that this letter can help them voice out their complaints.

A few weeks ago, I heard that the owner of this salon has not been paying his staff but I thought it was just a rumor. What I know is that he pays his staff so low that they have to rely on the customers' tips. They also have to hard sell some of the expensive products and services so that they can earn more money from the commissions.

However. yesterday when I was at the salon, the girl who does my nails told me that she has not received her salary for more than a month already. Another staff who overheard our conversation also confirmed that he has not received his salary last month as well. According to him, many of their colleagues already resigned because they can no longer take the system because this is not the first time that this happened.

FP, if you or any of your readers would like to verify this complaint, I suggest that you visit the branch that I go to somewhere in the south. Apparently, this problem also applies to the other branches. The sad part is all employees are even prohibited from calling the head office to follow up their salaries.

Little More Careful!

This guy was present during the most controversial Christening of the year. At the ceremony, he used his camera phone to take a picture of his good friend carrying the baby. A few days later, instead of sending the photo to his friend, he accidentally sent it to the wife of his friend.

His friend's wife was greatly disturbed after receiving the photo. She immediately launched her own investigation after this incident. The big question now is did this guy really send the photo to her by mistake or did he do it on purpose? I guess this guy just has to be a little bit more careful next time when he sends photos to this friend.

The Actress' False Claim

This actress claims that whenever she is hosting this television show, she does not wear any makeup except lipstick. This is false because instead of blush, her makeup artist uses a lot of foundation to make her look au naturale. Apart from foundation, the makeup artist also applies plenty of concealer to cover the huge dark circles under her eyes.

So, the next time you envy this actress for looking beautiful even without wearing any makeup; just remember what you read on Fashion PULIS. This should make you feel a little better. Do you know who this actress is?

Membership Denied?

The Manila Polo Club maintains its exclusivity by screening an applicant before granting membership. It is very particular when it comes to its members bringing guests and bodyguards to the club.

Is it true that this very wealthy politician's application for membership at the Manila Polo Club was recently denied? Do you know who he is? Don't ask me because your guess is as good as mine.

Do you remember this television series last year about these two girls who were switched at birth? The poor girl was nice, sweet and down-to-earth, while the rich girl was arrogant, mean and spoiled. I am sure many of viewers feel in love with the actress who played the sweet role and detested the other one who took on the mean role.

Ironically, according to someone who has worked with these two young actresses, in real life, they are said to be the exact opposites of the roles that they portrayed. The nice, sweet and down-to-earth girl on the show is actually mean while the arrogant, mean and spoiled girl is actually nice.
