Power Girl: A Girl Who Loves Men with Power?

According to Dictionary.com, a modelizer is a person who is obsessed with and attempts to date only models. How about a girl who attempts to date only the sons of the politicians? What do we call her?

After being separated for months, this actress and her husband who is a son of a politician finally broke their silence and confirmed that their marriage was in rocky territory. The alleged reason for their separation was domestic violence but the husband has denied it repeatedly. Anyway, this story has no intention to delve into the reason of their separation since some of you might not even be interested. What you might be interested to know is that this newly separated actress is rumored to be dating the son of another politician. It is not clear whether they are already committed to each other or not, but they have been seeing each other on a regular basis.

In 2009, R&B singer Chris Brown was charged with a domestic violence case involving his girlfriend, Rihanna. Do you know that Chris Brown has a counterpart here in the Philippines?

Many people are asking why this actress finally separated from her actor boyfriend after more than a year of being together. This has been a popular topic among showbiz oriented talk shows for the past few weeks. Someone very close to the actress confirmed that domestic violence is the reason behind their ugly separation.  Every time this actor is unhappy with his actress girlfriend's behavior, he would curse her and drive her out of the house. When she tries to reason out and explain her side, he would beat her black and blue. She is so scared of her life that she enrolled herself in a jiu jitsu class to protect herself from her abusive partner.

TV5 Show Awaits Sarah's Big Move

Sarah Geronimo has been denying all rumors regarding her transfer from ABS-CBN to TV5 for the past months. It seems like she can longer deny it now because TV5 is already preparing a show in anticipation of her big move. According to a reliable source, the offer was just too huge for her not to accept it. I am not 100% about the title of the show but it will have phrases like "P.S." or "I Love You" in it. You read this first on Fashion PULIS!

My Apologies

I would like to apologize to those who were upset when I posted the The Philippines is Not Fashion Forward? remix video. My intention was just to hear your opinions regarding the issue. I posted the remix version instead of the original just to spice it up a bit. I had no intentions of mocking or bullying her.

I just got back from Bangkok this morning and I am feeling very tired. I always feel down after every trip and this issue is making me feel worse. I am seriously thinking if I should still continue writing or not. Have a good Sunday!

Cut and Paste

Do you agree that sketching is one of the basic skills that a fashion designer must possess? A designer's sketches is his/her way of communicating his/her ideas to the clients. Without these sketches, a client will not be able to visualize what is the mind of a designer.

This female fashion designer does not know how to sketch on the spot for her clients. She would always ask one of her friends to prepare the sketches for her before she meets up with her clients. For her ready to wear line, she logs on the internet to browse the styles that she likes. She cuts the sleeves from one design and the silhouette from another and pastes them together. That is how she designs the pieces you see in her boutique.

One way or the other, she knew she had to learn how to sketch so she finally decided to hire an illustrator to tutor her. During their first session, she was very impatient. She instructed her tutor to skip the lessons on how to draw the basic shapes. She wants him to teach her the advanced skills that are beyond her capacity. After the first meeting, she informed him that she was no longer interested to continue with the lessons. It was such a pity that she had an opportunity to better herself but she just gave up too easily.

Do you know who is this female designer? Her boutique recently opened in one of the high end malls.  If you see her sketches published with her signature at last you now know that she requested someone to do it for her. I think someone should challenge her to sketch on the spot.
