Steamy Much

Attractive Actress (AA) and Her Boyfriend (HB) are drawing attention whenever they are out in public. AA and HB got together some time ago and sparks really flew. HB was madly in love and AA returned his affection. Thus, the two are behaving like two teenagers who are falling in love in all aspects, intellectually, emotionally, and physically. Both are single, and their families seem to be in favor of their relationship.

While AA and HB are enjoying their time together, people have noticed that they do not really care much about their very sweet behavior in public. For instance, they would spoon-feed each other over lunch and end it with a kiss. As AA is a celebrity, she would naturally attract onlookers, who might actually see more that what they had expected. The PDA can really catch attention. What makes it questionable is that they are with family members, who are caught feeling between being embarrassed and nonchalant.

With a highly physical relationship, bedroom encounters often happen. As AA and HB are into hot contact, they can make too much noise, which can be disturbing to the entire household of AA. Thus, the two devised a plan to make everyone happy. If they want to do it, they send the kids shopping along with the helpers. Alone at last, the two can do what they want while everyone else is away.

One time, after sending the kids to go shopping, the two decided to engage in steamy lovemaking. In the heat of passion, they decided to bring their act to the dining table. As they were in the middle of it, One Kid (OK) barges in and sees AA and HB on the dining table. Quickly, the two naked bodies ran to the bedroom. Pretending she did not see anything, OK said she left her wallet and was just going to get it from her room.

After the incident, AA noticed that OK preferred to have her meals in the dirty kitchen. While they never talked about the incident, AA assumed that OK has become uncomfortable with the memory of what she saw. After all, what has been seen cannot be unseen. Thus, AA bought a new dining table and moved the old one somewhere else in the house.

Repost: Angel Locsin Has No Plans of Taking Over Darna

Angel Locsin remains to be the top choice to play Philippine heroine Darna.

At least, that's what fans keep telling her, usually --one can imagine-- with hands clasped together in prayer, ignoring that she herself has said that her time as the Pinay superhero is up and that it's only right to hand down the fabled "bato" to someone else to keep the character's legacy alive.

It's been more than a decade since Locsin wore the iconic costume for a TV series, imbuing it with gravitas and grace --a famous performance that defined, in the eyes of many, what a strong female superheroine should be for years to come.

She was supposed to don it again for a movie but had to exit the project due to health concerns regarding her back. Since then, she has expressed her full support for her replacement, young actress Liza Soberano, and yet there were still rumblings.

This noisy clamor for her to take the role back found headwind when she was seen doing stunts for her primetime series "The General's Daughter." It only grew stronger when it was revealed that Soberano has decided to back out because of a finger injury.

But, in an interview with ABS-CBN News' MJ Felipe, Locsin's answer remained to be a firm "no."

Her first thought when the news broke out, she shared, was not that if she could possibly reconsider putting on the costume again. Rather, it was one of worry.

"Nag-alala ako sa kaniya," she said of Soberano.
(I was worried about her.)

"Kung mayroon man sigurong tao na makakaintindi sa pinagdadaanan niya ngayon, ako iyon. Nag-alala ako na sana OK lang siya. So nag-try ako mag-message sa kanya. Sabi ko lang , 'Liza.' "Sagot niya, 'Ate, I'm sorry.'"

(If there's someone who would understand what she's going through, that's me. I got worried and hoped she's OK. So I tried to message her. I just said 'Liza.' She answered, 'Ate, I'm sorry.')

"Naramdaman ko kung gaano siya ka-devastated sa nangyari and kung gaano niya kagusto i-please iyong network and fans niya na nagaantay. Pero siyempre, kailangan din niyang alagaan iyong sarili niya. Siguro ganoon din niya kamahal iyong role, na feeling niya hindi niya maibibigay iyong buo niya."

(I felt how devastated she was about what happened and how much she wants to please the network and her fans who have been waiting. But of course, she needs to take care of herself. Perhaps that's how much she loved the role, that she felt she couldn't give her all.)

She also begged fans to give the selection process for the new Darna some time, true to the comics' lore about the hero, "ang bato talaga ni Darna, namimili ng tao. Hindi basta basta lang."

(Darna's stone chooses. It's not that simple.)

Repost: Morissette Denies Story of Mocking Sarah Geronimo

Breakout singer Morissette, a former ward of Sarah Geronimo on "The Voice of the Philippines," addressed accusations that she mocked the recent emotional breakdown of the pop star, whom she continues to refer to as her idol.

Morissette, 21, denied the rumor in an interview with ABS-CBN News' MJ Felipe Friday, countering one by one the details of the supposed incident.

"Wala pong nangyaring gano'n talaga. Napanood ko 'yung video ni ate Sarah na umiiyak, I was at home with my family," she said, contrary to the accusation that she was seen laughing as she watched the same video while on the set of "Umagang Kay Ganda," ABS-CBN's morning magazine program.

A version of the story alleged Morissette was inside an "Umagang Kay Ganda" dressing room with fellow singer Angeline Quinto, when they both supposedly ridiculed their "ASAP" co-star's meltdown.

Morissette stressed she never entered a dressing room for her recent guest appearance on the show, adding that "Umagang Kay Ganda" staff can even validate this claim.

She also brought up the fact that one of the show's hosts, Amy Perez, already denied that she has an assistant or companion, who, according to the rumor, witnessed Morissette and Quinto's behavior.

"Nagulat ako," Morissette said. "Bakit naman po kami dinadamay ni Angeline, na ginawan pa kami ng ganoong kuwento?"

The "Akin Ka Na Lang" hitmaker lamented the fact that despite the lack of evidence backing the accusation, some people on social media were quick to believe and make snap judgment.

She said: "Nagulat po ako na ang daming naniwala sa wala namang evidence. It's sad that people can believe that fast. I'm just sad about that."

Like Quinto, who broke down in tears amid the mudslinging from so-called fans of Geronimo, Morissette said there have been "people around me who have been comforting me naman, texts from co-artists na nagsabi na sana OK lang daw ako."

"I'm OK, I'm not bothered by it, because malinis naman ang konsensiya ko. I know I did nothing like that," she added.

With a showbiz career that skyrocketed in 2014 via "The Voice," Morissette said she can identify with colleagues in the industry, like Geronimo, when it comes to being exhausted from work.

"Of course, I feel for her, because I am in that same nature of work. I also get tired, I also have moments like that, na feeling ko, pagod na pagod na ako, pero I still have to do it for my audience, for my craft. I owe it to them, to the people who work hard to make the show possible," she said.

Morissette, who has been vocal of her admiration for Geronimo since her "The Voice" audition, also mentioned that the pop star remains one of her idols in the industry.

"To say na I'm someone who would be laughing at someone as big as Sarah Geronimo, na sobrang ina-idol ko, grabe naman sila na binabaliktad nila 'yun," she said.

Repost: Family Accepts Fate of Mely Tagasa (Miss Tapia)

Screen veteran Mely Tagasa, best known for her role as the strict teacher Miss Tapia in "Iskul Bukol," has been "weaned off her respirator" after a week in coma, a family member said.

Tagasa's daughter, Gina, gave permission to ABS-CBN News to cite her personal Facebook post, which gives an update on the 82-year-old actress, currently confined at Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan.

"It was a tough and painful decision to make since she has been quite dependent on this machine," Gina wrote Thursday, a week after Tagasa suffered a stroke.

"She is still in comatose stage but displays some pain and discomfort as she slightly jerks and squirms because of the intubation. (Ok, doctors say it's just her 'reflexes'). She now breathes with the help of an oxygen tank. We continue to monitor her condition--her vital signs fluctuate every hour so I can't say everything is OK."

Gina, one of Tagasa's four children, added they now "leave everything to the Lord," noting her mother's birthday 83rd birthday is on April 16.

She wrote: "If He wills her to continue enjoying a quality life at 83, then a miracle is bound to happen. If He decides to take Mommy home with Him, Eternal Life in Heaven awaits. We accept. Our Faith will see us through."

Tagasa's family went on to thank those who have given "love, moral support, and loving thoughts," and asked for continued prayers "for me and my three younger siblings for courage and emotional and physical strength as we fight this painful battle."

"God's plan never fails," she said.

With a 15-year run on television that spawned four films, the sitcom "Iskul Bukol" made Miss Tapia a household name, alongside the main stars of that series -- the trio of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.

Tagasa's decades-long career in showbiz also saw her as a radio and television writer, and later on as a producer.

Repost: After Release of Official Statements, Kobe Paras Refrains from Speaking Up on UCLA Issue

Image courtesy of Facebook: Benjie Paras Official

Two years of hoop dreams, excitement and anticipation took a twist this week for the Paras family when PBA legend Benjie Paras found out that his son Kobe was no longer going to attend the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

The younger Paras, who was Division 1 qualified to play, had already checked in and had begun summer school, but suddenly the admissions department said he did not meet some of the academic requirements causing the former slam dunk champion to withdraw.

"It was really a surprise for us and of course Kobe was really devastated. I was talking to him, and honestly, he was crying," said Benjie.

Despite reports citing Cathedral High School's principal saying that the issue involved his Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) score, Paras' Coach William Middlebrooks said no exact details were given.

"That was a shock to the entire athletic department. Our understanding was as long as he's a full qualifier academically, he'd be in school and for whatever reason, the head of admissions made a different decision. It was taken out of context. I think it came across strange to people. Various people interpret it the way they interpreted it but we don't know what the reason is. Even the principal has not talked to anybody at UCLA admissions so therefore whatever the reason is they chose to make this decision we don't have a fact to as why they made the decision," said Middlebrooks.

Middlebrooks admitted that these issues do happen at all colleges and not just to student athletes. With Kobe now withdrawn from UCLA, it's back to the recruitment process for the Division 1 eligible 18-year-old Paras.

With a couple of months before the school year, at least 80 Division 1 schools have reached out to the 6-foot-5 inch wing.

As Paras will weigh his options, he is expected to be in school and on the court in time for the 2016 college basketball season.

"He's a hot commodity right now. We're just back to the drawing board about finding the right fit, the right opportunity; that they understand who Kobe is, what his game is all about, what he means to the Philippines," his coach said.

Benjie added, "We want for Kobe to pick a good school that he can play, and at the same time, getting good academics. I'm just here to support Kobe, support coach and Cathedral and the organization. Whatever decisions they make I'm going to be fine with it."

Benjie, who flew to Los Angeles immediately after the withdrawal news came, has stayed positive and while his son has built a large following, he shared a message to the fans.

"Don't worry. He's going to be ok. He's in good hands, Cathedral, Middlebrooks, they're one big family. They will help each other when someone becomes successful they will be happy for him and when someone's down they will help him get up. He's in good hands right now and for sure you will see him play again," he said.

Middlebrooks and Benjie said Kobe will not make any public comments or appearances as he continues to visit schools and workout on the court.

Repost: Cecilia Ongpauco Says She's Not Privy to Private Matters of Chiz Escudero and Heart Evangelista, Will Pray for the Couple

Amid the swirl of speculations about the relationship of Senator Francis Escudero and his wife Heart Evangelista, the actress’s mother, Cecilia Ongpauco, told ABS-CBN News Thursday that she believes the couple will ride out whatever perceived challenges they are going through.

“It’s their private life so I am just praying for them,” said Ongpauco. "I know they will be OK! I’ve known Chiz to be a mature and grounded person that’s why I am happy for my daughter.”

The actress’ mother qualified, however, that she has no knowledge of the issues surrounding the couple’s current relationship. “I have not spoken to anybody,“ she stressed.

In Evangelista’s vlog in June 2021, Ongpauco credited Escudero for supporting her daughter.

“You know what I like about your marriage? You allow each other to grow. You don't stunt her growth,“ she told the couple in a cooking session. "You don't cramp her style. I think that's what's good about their marriage. He allows her to grow, mature on her own.”

Both Escudero and Evangelista have yet to address the issue of marital discord which has been brewing since Evangelista dropped her married name in her social media accounts in early August.

Nonetheless, the actress has kept her status as "wife" in her profile.

Evangelista also recently shared a vlog where she admitted that she’s going through a rough patch in her life.

“I am not gonna deny that I have been going through personal struggles. I feel a lot of pressure in my life. Basically now, I am really in a search for just being happy,” said.

Evangelista nevertheless stressed that she remains “very, very grateful [for] as long as there is life, there is hope.”

Escudero’s senate staff told ABS-CBN News no statement is forthcoming from the lawmaker.

The couple were married in February 2015 after a much-heralded conflict and eventual reconciliation between Escudero and Evangelista’s parents.

Letter from a Reader: Bride to Wed in RTW Gown Because of Missing Designer

Dear Fashion PULIS,

I've been reading your blog ever since the “fashion scam" story. I always read about the designers you feature in your blog whether it is something positive or negative. I would like to request you to publish this story of my closest friend. This friend of mine has saved for almost 10 years just for her dream wedding. Sadly she was betrayed by this designer whom she trusted to provide the gowns on her special wedding.

I will try my best to provide a detailed timeline for you and your readers to have a better picture of the story. Allow me also to post some of the emails of my friend.

December 2010
My close friend got engaged. She and her fiancé set the wedding date on May 15, 2011.

January 2011
They started booking all the wedding suppliers and started scouting for possible designer. Many designers they contacted turned them down because they say they can no longer accommodate them since their wedding date is too near.

February 2011
Through a common friend’s referral they met up with male designer A. Before the initial meeting, my friend tried searching for reviews about his work on various wedding sites. Instead of finding reviews, she found photos of him with celebrities and even came across articles about him winning a certain design competition. These bits of information made her confident that he has a name to protect so most likely she will not have any problems with him. When they met up with him, his initial quote was 120,000 Php for the gowns of the bride, the mothers and the female entourage members but since they were referred by a common friend, he offered to give them a 50% discount. They gave him 30,000 Php as an initial payment for the 60,000 Php agreed package price. He asked for an additional down payment of 10,000 Php and another 6,000 Php for the tuxedo of the groom that cost 12,000 Php. All the measurements were then taken at the groom's place and they set the first fitting on March 15. He told them not to worry and even assured them that it only takes approximately 5 days to complete a tuxedo so there is nothing to worry about.

March 2011
Before the March 15 scheduled first fitting, my friend followed up through text messages, calls and Facebook messages but received no answer from him.

April 1, 2011
With less than 2 months before the wedding date, my friend kept asking when they will get fit the gowns. A answered confidently saying "May 15 pa naman ang wedding mo." When she asked him if she can at least see the lining of the dress, he answered, "Hindi naman ganun kadali gumawa ng gown, and to be honest pang lima bride na kita." Since my friend has been bugging him almost every day, he promised that the gowns will be ready for fitting after holy week. When the family members of the groom found out about this, they were planning to pull out the unfinished gowns and file a legal case. They need the gowns as evidence since A was not able to provide a written contract and sketches which he promised to send through email.

April 26, 2011. The Monday after Holy Week.
They were able to talk to the designer. Again the he rescheduled the first fitting to May 5 considering the wedding date is on May 15. He said he wasn’t able to work during the Holy Week because he was out of town.

Here are the email updates of my friend as the wedding day approaches (in Filipino):

May 1, 2011

May 5, 2011

Delivery is this coming Saturday night daw.

sya ng marikina for my shoes.

Sana by Sunday matapos na lahat.

Super lagare pero that's his fault.

I want him to think and feel na hindi ako ganoong kabait para unawain sya palagi.

May 7, 2011
I really feel down right now. Nadeliver na nya yung gown ko just now. When I looked closer, ang dumi!

May 8, 2011
We have decided to buy RTW gowns na lang today, mahirap umasa!

We already knew about that at sabi nung guard na marami nga daw nagpupunta dun na naghahanap sa kanya. Ang ibigsabihin ba ng late ay after the wedding?

I hope magkaka peace of mind na kami pag may nabili na kaming gowns.

Thank you for posting this long story. More power to Fashion PULIS.

Yours truly,
V.J.P.

Repost: James Yap and Michela Cazzola Expecting A Baby Girl

Ma cherie amie, Mic Cazzola and my migo James Yap are “infanticipating” once again. This time around, it’s a baby girl. Their son MJ is turning 2 in August. Mic is due to give birth by the end of June.

The fab couple shared the good news with me during the birthday bash of James, as early as February. But they told me not to write about it yet. In a previous column, my headline was: James and Mic raring to make a special revelation. It’s time for the big reveal about their date with the stork.

I teased them both that since they have good genes, they ought to make more babies to form a basketball team just like James’ PBA ball club, Rain or Shine Elasto Painters. Viva la Familia Filitaliana.

Here’s my chat with Mic:

What name have you chosen for your baby girl? James wants an Italian name, so I am thinking of some classic names.

What’s the best and toughest part of motherhood? The best part is that it inspires you to be a better person. It’s the example you set and what you teach your children. The toughest is that you are in constant worry!

Tell us the latest about your baby boy. We just came back from Italy and we had so much fun. Every time we travel and we go back home, it’s like he learned so much. He has new words to say, as I am teaching him to name something both in English and in Italian. He’s a very extroverted boy; he likes the company of people. At the restaurant, he smiles at everybody.

How would you handle it if MJ gets “jealous” of his baby sister? He’s a sweet boy. But we’ll see when the baby arrives! If he gets jealous, I’m planning to keep them together, like we can stay in the same room… It’s important to make him feel included in every step.

What was the highlight of your fam’s vacay in Italy? The food (laughs). Actually, the best part is staying together the whole time.

How has your relationship with James evolved? I get less mad about certain things. Priorities change, so I mind less if things in the house, for example, aren’t in perfect order. I understand more if he wants to spend time with friends riding his bike. Before it was all about him and me, but now I’m thinking more of the overall picture. He spends time with his son. For me, that’s what matters the most. Time given is the most precious gift.

How do you and James discipline and spoil MJ? Our son has a strong personality. If he wants something, he gets it, regardless of what we tell him! So James and I try to be firm when it’s something we don’t allow. We don’t do the good cop and bad cop [routine].

As for spoiling, we don’t do that much, actually.

Will you and James allow MJ to do TV commercials? Yes, as long as we’re comfortable with it.

How many kids do you plan to have? For now, I’m OK with two (laughs).

Marian Rivera is Not Sorry

Source: www.philstar.com

Despite her striking and breathtakingly delicate features, Marian Rivera is perhaps the least saccharine person that I’ve met. She walks into the room with a smile on her face and gets right down to business, assessing the gowns that have been laid out for her to wear. She doesn’t bother trying to woo the people in the room. If she doesn’t remember you from the millions of interviewers she’s faced, she won’t pretend to. After having met quite a few actors and high-profile people for the first time — and having them all warmly tell me that I “look familiar”— eventually I realized that I probably didn’t have a doppelganger roaming the showbiz circuit. It was all patronizing PR, which they thought they needed to bestow on me.

Marian is polite and very easy to work with, but she won’t coddle you with warmth. Even when the shoot wraps up and it’s time for her to leave, you can easily tell from the way she bids goodbye to each person who she’s spent more of her life with. If you’re close, you’re close. If you’re not, you’re not. Those who are more sensitive would probably brand that as suplada, but I strangely appreciated it. This was a woman with whom I knew exactly where I stood. In hindsight, I also realized she was a ton more respectful than those who thought a pinch of flattery was necessary.

‘TARAY’ QUEEN

Unsurprisingly, the words “suplada” and “mataray” have been following the snappy Marian around, in a culture where people are so used to having their egos given the spa treatment. “Ang sagot ko dun... totoo naman! Totoo naman kasi eh. I think it’s OK to be suplada as long as you’re not power tripping. Hindi rin naman siguro masama na mag-react kapag may ginawa sa’yo. Basta ang motto ko sa buhay, kung mabait ka, mas mabait ako sa’yo. Pag sinalbahe mo ako, ah patay na.”

Marian is glad to have started her now eight-year showbiz career without the aid of pretense. She revels in the freedom that comes with being straightforward and how everyone relates to her as that. She does, however, admit that she has had to learn not to be transparent all the time; to know when to speak and when to keep it zipped.

“Actually, it’s not just in showbiz,” she says, unfazed by the body of intrigue that has been thrown at her so far. “Bago ako nag-artista nakapagtrabaho naman ako. Even at the office or hospital or in school, you get situations like that. It’s just that this industry broadcasts everything. Pero pare-parehas lang ang tao.

WORK IS WORK IS WORK

What gives Marian the courage to always show up as herself under the klieg lights is that she gets on a deep and grounded level that stardom isn’t everything. It’s a job —a job that makes many people happy and provides for her family — but still just a piece of the pie. “Hindi dito umiikot ang mundo ko. When I’m no longer here at your interview, I’ll be at home with my family, at yun yung totoong buhay.”

At work, Marian may give off that stand-offish aura that makes it always clear that you don’t own her. But that doesn’t mean she’s incapable of caring deeply and belonging to the people who really matter. Her family keeps cropping up during the duration of our conversation. “Hanggat kaya ko silang bigyan ng oras, gagawin ko, lalo na yung lola ko kasi matanda na siya. My mom is like my best friend, and I can’t not talk to my dad in Spain at least once a day. With my siblings, I like seeing their pictures and what’s on their agenda. Yung mga pamangkin ko na pinag-aaral ko, gusto ko palaging kamustahin kung nag-aaral ba sila ng mabuti. Those are my concerns. My family.”

Once in a while, Marian also sends her fans direct messages to thank them and update them on her life. “Kasi kung wala sila, wala talagang Marian. They’re the ones who push me up.” It’s a line that’s been said so many times before, but Marian speaks it as if she were articulating a conviction.

She describes herself as a simple girl with simple dreams, whose main purpose in life is to be happy and make sure her family is the same. Beyond that, Marian simply lets the issues and intrigues come. “Hindi mo naman maiiwasan ang issue eh. Kahit nananahimik ako, kung merong gusto akong gawan ng issue, gagawan at gagawan ako eh. So ang kailangan ko lang gawin, wala deadma. Ah, ah issue? Ahhhhhoookay! Deadma!’” she laughs. “What’s important is at the end of the day, when I’m about to sleep, masaya ba ako sa buhay ko?” With certainty, Marian answers her own question in the affirmative, and to her that’s all that needs to be said.

“Alam kong bawal tumigil at hindi dapat huminto, ‘Yang ang payo ko sayo para di ka mabigo. Salamat sa lahat ng nag bukas sakin ng pinto. Ok nako sa pilak kahit na di maka ginto”

Universal Records is proud to honor Gloc-9’s astounding impact on the Filipino music scene throughout his illustrious career. This year, the iconic “Makata sa Pinas” marks his 25th year in the industry and as a grand celebration, he is slated to release a brand-new album which will be called “Pilak”.

And this March, Gloc-9 proudly releases the title track of his anniversary album, which encompasses a mixture of powerful storytelling about his unrivaled hustle and learnings for two and a half decades and enchanting hip-hop melodies. With pure emotional honesty, the veteran rapper also thanked his solid supporters over the years who helped him achieve all the accolades and milestones that he reached. There’s no denying that “Pilak” is a song borne from the heart of a very thankful seasoned artist.

His fans will surely enjoy the song’s seamless barrage of metaphors and verses that only he can deliver. As usual, Gloc delivers another poetic masterpiece which was further heightened by the musical arrangement, mixing and mastering by Thyro Alfaro and cover artwork by CLMRarts. The official music video helmed by director Edrex Clyde Sanchez is also out now on YouTube. (WATCH HERE)

The song is a very appreciative circumspect of his artistic journey which started with a dream, and paved by sweat, blood, and tears – all of which led to his eventual day in front of the klieg lights, the accolades, and the many awards that followed. As they say, "success is in the journey" and it truly is.

This gave Gloc-9 a better appreciation of what he has now as he stands front and center with contentment and thankfulness in his heart. A very inspirational message to young artists who are now trekking their own paths to glory.

With “Pilak”, Gloc-9 proves that he still has a lot of gas left in the tank and he’ll surely deliver a bona fide hit if he wants to. You have to start streaming this brand-new single right now!

Missing Presence

Everything was set for that magical night. The gown was ready and so was the glam team, who would make sure Low-Profile actress (LP) would stand out in a rare appearance. LP was excited to join Rumored Boyfriend (RB) walk down the red carpet. Everyone waited but the excitement fizzled.

Yearly, the talents of a network as well as the public look forward to spending a few hours with co-workers in a formal occasion. As the status of the event has been elevated to a big moment, guests make it a point to look as best and stylish as they could. Correspondingly, the public anticipate the best dressed personalities of the evening and who is attending with whom.

LP is no stranger to the said event and has even made it to the list of the well-dressed a few times. LP would standout among her peers because of the way she carried herself. Similarly, RB has established his reputation in the event and he has also learned from his previous experiences. This year seemed to be different, as he had invited LP to join him. Naturally, LP was elated to be seen on the red carpet with RB and such scene would have made a statement on their alleged relationship.

However, someone had other plans and made sure LP’s night would be ruined. Allegedly, someone sent a photo to LP anonymously before the said event. The photo showed Network Actress (NA) in the room of RB. The side story is that NA has allegedly fallen in love with RB, who has grown fond of her as well. However, their relationship was supposed to be confined to private moments with no emotions set in place.

NA and an accomplice allegedly connived to send a controversial photo to LP. When LP saw that NA had already stepped into the private room of RB, she lost it. However, no confrontation happened, as LP feared RB might walk out on her. Instead of showing that she was affected by the photo, she copped out that night and made an excuse that she was not well enough to go.

The Uncaring

Image courtesy of Rod Cañalita/ Manila Bulletin

Sadly, her face and onscreen appeal do not match how Famous Entertainer (FE) is. FE started her career gaining admiration for her extraordinary talent. Her performances endeared her to an audience that eventually grew as the public found her performances relatable. Moreover, FE worked hard when she saw a break was being handed to her by a management team.

Years later, FE built her name and a consistent following. Her fans spanned from kids to adults; from happy to sad performances, FE was adored. Without much intention, her private life was needlessly thrown into the public eye. FE had to endure the intrusion of her privacy. Those times were hard as it seemed that her every move was being watched and bashers were ready to pounce. FE managed to turn such circumstances to her advantage.

However, stories from the grapevine have emerged. Allegedly, when FE was upset, makeup artists had to brace themselves for her tantrums that ranged from throwing objects to kicking them. The ordinary workers were of course, no match for someone like FE. In another incident, a network performer requested if FE could sing in a wake as FE was the favorite singer of the deceased. FE responded with an ‘ok’ but no message of sympathy was included. On the day of the event, FE didn’t show up and no prior message was sent to the one who sent the invitation. Although disappointed, nothing could be done as FE showed her lack of care.
