    1. Pee Mak PH is an adaptation movie. Meaning it takes the original Pee Mak story/movie as its source and creates a Philippine version of it.

    Ang dami daming orihinal na storya ng mga manunulat na Pilipino to make films about. Hindi pa ba nasusuka ang mga tao sa adaptations ng mga kwento mula sa ibang bansa na lalagyan ng Pinoy spin? So umuwi si Mak from war, napansin ng mga kaibigan nya na yung sinasabi nyang pamilya ay patay na, and encourages him to seek consult with Psychiatry dahil nagkakaroon sya ng psychosis. The end.

    Gets ko naman, this is mainstream, intended to make money kaya kailangan dikit sa formula. But the story of Pee Mak is very grounded in Thai culture, na pag pinilit gawing Pinoy...ewan. Daming kwentong unique sa atin we can create original art from, why do we keep resorting to these and make people lose faith in ourselves and our own talents?

    1. Yes, yan nga yun.. copycat.. parang yung movie ni Kim Molina na nag super hit sa netflix last month, eh remake lang naman ng korean film shown a decade ago..

  16. Wala na po ba originalism sa ating mga scriptwriter's??? The original is always and will be the more better. Therefore, why do remake's when originalism is there for us to be explore???
