But on the other hand I think nadala lang sya sa mga adlib nya. Na-pressure na patawanin at paggandahin ang segment kasi wala ang ibang main hosts. ReplyDeleteI mentioned this before, for a show that wants to lift people up, shaming contenstants on their physical features is a sign that one, a host is not smart enough to evolve his way of communicating and entertaining and number 2 they just talk the talk. Effort to entertain yes, but the content itself not class.

Yes its entertaining especially if the contestants are really witty but for the most part the hosts spend their time degrading or making fun of the contestants which makes you wonder why the contest exists- to uplift the gay community or merely entertain the viewers at the contestants' expense?

Philippine noontime shows reach millions of kids and teens every day, shaping what they see as normal, funny and acceptable. When content normalizes humiliation, racism, misogyny, exploitation, or other harmful behavior, viewers have every right to call it out. Public officials influence policy; media personalities influence culture. Both hold power, both shape society, and both deserve accountability.

There’s an obvious power imbalance at play. And let’s not ignore the fact that she’s also a woman of color, which adds another layer to why the dynamics aren’t equal.

DeleteSana bigyan ng rules yung mga nasa noontime show kung ano mga bawal kasi paiba iba, minsan pwede o minsan hindi pag sa kabilang channel pwede kunwari magbuga tapos dito di pwede, tskaa ano ba talaga pwede ba magbiro o bawal kasi sa iba ayaw, lait daw yun. Di lang yan maraminpang issues dapat bigyan ng rules ng mtrcb ang isnag show bago magsimulang ipalabas dapat alam na mga bawal sabihin at pwede lang.
