Maryosep. Mga Pinoy kahit saan ang tagline Proud to be Pinoy. YAAAAAAAKKKKK napaka second class mentality
12:12 what is your point?Do you have an idea how much they are paying to watch a tennis match.Even the sports commentators were saying that whenever Alex is playing Filipino fans are very supportive and are filling the stadium compared to other tennis players. And this is good for tennis sports in terms of revenue and promoting the sport itself.
12:12 AM Wait! Why is that 2nd class mentality? You want Filipinos to act coy and unaffected about things they feel strongly proud of? She’s the only good thing that’s happening to our country right at gusto mong magpaka plastic? So pretentious!!!
I will never understand our countrymen bashing Alex when the world is actually applauding her. Keep reaching high, Alex! At 21, you’ve gone so far already.
Criticizing the weaknesses of her game, e.g. serve, is valid. Criticizing the overwhelming hype despite lack of consistent result is also valid. Criticizing the poor behavior of her supporters is also valid. As a Filipino, I cheer for her and wish her the best in her career. However, as an avid tennis fan, I am not obligated to support her just because we share the same nationality. If she faces any of my personal favorites, I will support my favorite because I go with the game, not with the flag. I will stress, I don't find her game appealing. That's not bashing, it's a matter of personal preference.
940, you know what’s wrong with your statement? You’ve stated all your criticisms about her because obviously, as you so stated, you don’t like her game. You say you’re a tennis fan and all you can say is you cheer for her as a fellow Filipino. So where’s the balance in your statement? No one forces you to support her. You’re just one audience from a million of tennis fans.
9:40 just be thankful na you get to experience na may Pinoy sa sports na yan, a very good one pa! Jusko, no one forces you to support her wag din super feelingera kasi avid ka kuno ng tennis. That is very Pinoy, a very bad one. 🙄
9:40 AM WTH are you talking about? Do you play tennis or real tennis fan? You’re just a casual one. Weak serve? How many miles per hour was her “weak serve”? Second serve is usually slower since you want to put it in the serving box not to give away point. Grass court surface is fast but with it’s uneven surface the ball gets “dead” on its rise. And players who studied their opponents put top spin or slice on their serve. And you humans get tired too. Eventually the rowdy filipino fans will learn quickly and enjoy tennis matches not only Alex. Give it a time.
Inconsistent? Are you even watching or just pretentious? THIS IS HER ONLY 2nd YEAR as WTA pro! And she already surpassed what she did in her 1st year! Imagine she’s in 16th round and hopefully to quarterfinals, semis & finals and eventually win. Give me an effing break! JUST BE PROUD among 110 pinoys one of us made it.
9:40 when by sheer strike of luck your child will get into sports one day, even if local only (heck kahit brgy level lang), may your friends, relatives and neighbors give the same level of energy you are bestowing alex right now. betrayal hits the hardest when it's close to home
English kasi LoL To the tards. Stop shoving her to everybody's throats. There's such a thing as preference. Proud Pinoy LoL 😂😂😂
9:40 do not belittle the efforts of Alex.
I dont get it either. She’s just playing tennis, why bash her? Because she came from a place of privelege? Most if not all tennis players do! So telenovela mentality! Get your head out of the gutter guys! Tama na ang crab mentality!
4:28 AM Tennis ignoramus. I play tennis, I watch Grand Slam, I speak English and I make very good money. I like how Alex play and I am DAMN PROUD of her. YOU are the 2nd CLASS. Know nothing about tennis.
Awww that's super lush. I remember I was in tears with her first grand slam way back 2004 winning over Serena Williams.I root hard for her.I find her so pretty like Anna K.
Favorite mo ampalaya, papaitan? Ako favorite ko rin pero din naman ako bitter, especially to a fellow kababayan giving pride sa country nya and she is proud of her roots. Sad to say a few buti n lang just a few who are not proud, kinahihiya pa. Over whelming achievements and yet kinahihiya pa. Magparetoke na lang kayo, change your name ku g ayaw nyo ma recognize as pinoys, buset.
May WTA rankings naman so she is rated where she is supposed to be. She is still new to the main WTA tour and she is an improving player. She’ll achieve greater things in the years to come.
She IS a star. This is the kind of talent that gives our country honor. Sa kababuyan ng gobyerno natin ngayon, this news pacifies our bad image.
The likes of Manny, Lea and some others who might not have the privilege or media milestone. Hindi yung puro nakaw and flaunting the "crazy rich asian" lifestyle 🤮
Real talk, I am proud of Manny and Lea but ibang level tong Tennis. That's one of the most watched sport next to Football and cricket.
I heard paragn executive or high ranking employer ata ang parent sa Globe Tel kaya sponsored ng Ayala companies like Globe and BPI.
Kaaliw ng ganito. You have a photo with someone you admire when you were younger then you can document it when you are a star player already. Parang yung swimmer nun na nabeat nya si Michael Phelps and has a photo with him when he was younger too
Alex lives and breathes tennis. A young Alex with the legend and now she is on her way to create her own. All the best to you Alex!
