"Dapat matuwa ka kasi may nadidiscover..." ah no. Kung hindi nga nadidiscover ng maayos ang talent dito sa Pinas, it's just the talent who immigrated abroad ang panonoorin ko and it's no different. Parang nilipat mo lang ung showbiz dito on a platform there. It's not like there's any improvement on Philippine representation, very black and white pa din. I think it's a disservice to talent if it's to support blindly. I'm watching not only bc theyre Filipino but because the project looks good. And yes, i think i have the right to be disappointed in the whole look of Forgotten Island when my culture is used as a focus. I've seen better character designs over the internet, nakaka frustrate. It's like Encanto and KPop Demon Hunters was made with love on their respective cultures pero sa atin parang minadali na cash grab. Liza isn't even known to be a good actress. Hope im wrong, peace - just my two cents.
