I don't know. I think this is a harmful assumption. Hindi lang kahirapan/lack of education ang nagpupush sa mga filipino na maging DDS, otherwise yung mga OFWs na most likely mga educators at healthcare workers wouldn't be DDS. Same with these wealthy celebs. It's the years of emotional suppression, lack of control, and loss of meaning/purpose. For a long time pinrioritize ng filipino culture ang hedonic treadmill and suppression of negative emotions cause it allowed us to survive the powerlessness and suffering that the government caused us for generations, and it is all coming to a head dahil social media hacked our brains to be more emotionally volatile and to have shorter attention spans/poor impulse control. People are using politics to reflect the chaos inside them, because that is how they cope and self regulate.
