We have never experienced the same flood we have experienced during typhoon Frank after this flood control was constructed. Even during Yolanda. Binabaha parin pa minsan but at least manageable na. Hopefully the city could sustain, improve and develop more projects for the benefit both of the people and the environment.

i am from iloilo and i can attest to how the Jaro Floodway project has been very helpful. Gone are the days na pag may bagyo, sure na babaha sa Jaro and even sa school namin before. This project took around 4-5 years but so worth it. Grateful to Iloilo City LGU for pushing for this project.
