Problem is hindi naman malalaman ng audience which are historical facts and which are fictional elements in the movie. Kaya magkakaroon talaga ng misconception about Quezon and even the other politicians depicted in the movie.
Who in the right mind would depend on movies to learn historical facts? Sabagay tama ka, mga masa mga utak bulate... lahat ng nasa sine totoo, si Padre Mallari totoong time traveler at si Bea Alonzo nainlove sa isang sundalong Kastila kaya sya may bahay sa Spain haha.
Mismo- the producers have the power to dictate the narrative. They have been unchecked. Kung may fake news, may fake biopics din - also known as fiction.
Depends who will watch , and depends sa educational system today if natuturo pa ang history sa school. I don't think Ganon kadali maniwala ang tao based sa napanood vs sa pinagaralan. Others might watch and do the research if it's true and others Will verify facts based sa nabasa o inaral vs sa papanoorin nila. Nag conclude naman na agad
A historical film cannot be distorted for “cinematic” purpose. The story should be accurate. There should be no enhancement to the narrative in order to make it more appealing to the audience.
Ang pangit kase na all characters are part ng history ntin tapos yung kwento partly true lng, sana kung mas fictitious pla ang kwento gumawa n lng sila ng fictitious character. The movie will mislead most esp mga kids. So gets ko yung apo ni Quezon, bakit napamura sa movie event
