Pamangkin ko,, walang bisyo at fit. At the age of 28 type 1 diabetes. Insulin shots and monitoring talaga. Wala sa genes namin so we dont know why.
More on genetics. It’s an auto immune decease that stops the pancreas form producing insulin so same sa type 1. Pero sobrang bagal ng progress nya kaya imbes na bata pa lang type 1 diabetic na, lumalabas lang and pagka diabetic pag matanda na.. like 20s to 50s .
autoimmune. so nag haywire mga antibodies sa katawan nya. normally antibodies are formed in reaction to foreign bodies such as virus. basically yan ang concept ng vaccination.. thats why kidney transplant takes immuno suppressants para hindi ma reject yong organ otherwise antibodies will keep forming to attack the new organ . however in people with autoimmune disease, those antibodies are reacting towards the persons own cell. no one knows why..
I agree with you, 11:14 and 1:58.
While it’s true that diabetes is hereditary, it can be prevented or reversed by your lifestyle. Avoid carbs, sugar rich food. Carbohydrates convert to sugar. Rice eating kase tayo Kaya mahirap yan tanggalin. A friend I know reversed her diabetes by not eating rice and avoiding sugar rich foods. Halos lahat ng food natin may sugar. Mga ulam may sugar na nilalagay. Who can resist pastries, cake, turon, banana q? There’s such a thing called resistant carbohydrates. Yung mga matatanda sinasabi Nila nakakataba Ang kaning lamig but it’s resistant carbs.
Same as good friend, she's Diagnosed Type 2. Just took 2 months Medication and change her Lifestyle: food and exercise. After 2 months medication. Nag pa check sa Doctor, Insulin is back to normal. Since then wala na syang medication.
12:50 teh type 1.5 baka for type 2 yung sinasabi mo. Saka looking at sam na napaka fit and for sure kumakain ng healthy. Know the difference between type 1 and 2. Yung sinasabi mo is applicable for type 2
I wonder kung yung 1.5 ay genetics or dahil sa lifestyle.. grabe health buff na yan nagkaron pa ng diabetes
ReplyDeleteBoth from lifestyle and genes
DeleteGenetics
DeleteIt’s the food. Kahit mag work out kapa ng todo if ang food choice mo high on glucose. Rice, wine, beer, pastries, bread. Processed food etc.

DeleteNot sure but based sa description it's a mix of both so most likely may genetic causes din
Delete1.5 parang combination ng type 1 and 2. Both lifestyle (food and activities) and genetics

Diabetes is highly triggered by poor diet and lack of exercise. Your logic in life is YOLO??

DeleteJust take the insulin shots, it's not that bad it really lowers your HBA1C and gives significant changes to your symptoms
ReplyDeleteYes. Sanayan lang. Laking tulong din ng insulin sa kin especially when I was pregnant
DeleteNamana niya siguro, if he’s dieting and exercising na pero nagkaroon pa din siya.
ReplyDeleteWhat?! Never heard of that. Wow, that must be hard.
ReplyDeleteAndami nang auto immune diseases na naglalabasan. Could be products that we use or eat.
ReplyDeleteLifestyle teh. It’s all down to lifestyle.
DeleteLifestyle plus food and products that we use. Same with cancer kaya madaming cancer sa younger generation.

DeleteYes, obesity can lead to insulin resistance and inflammation.
Delete2:07 pa bloodwork ka and find out kung ano ang a1c mo.
DeleteHindi reversible ang type 1. Maybe prediabetes pwede pa. And gestational diabetes usually goes away after giving birth
DeleteComprehensive blood test every six months to determine if your glucose level. If prediabetes ka, can be reversible.
ReplyDeleteo tapos?
ReplyDeleteHope you learned something from the post. Wag puro nega and pampam lang!
DeleteOh wow. Kindness goes a long way. Sana hindi ka na lang nag comment
DeleteExactly!
