Where I live, hindi sya nagaappear sa Netflix ko kahit i-search ko yung title or type Filipino movies. Sa ibang sites ba meron? I’m curious about this film. I used to watch Kadenang Ginto with my mom back in PHL, and I like Francine and Blythe.
Wow! I was just watching its trailer on Netflix kanina and it looked very interesting! I am planning on watching it. A breath of fresh air away from the usual third party Filipino movies.
Napanood ko to ss Netflix, medyo boring ss umpisa pero ang ganda ng ending. Hindi ko favorite yung FranSeth pero kinilig ako sa ending! Must watch naman for me. Haha
Parang “Mimi” na Kdrama naman to, iniba/dinagdagan lang ibang scenes lol. Pati yung clock eme gaya talaga at doon din nagkita. Kaibahan lang sad ending yung kdrama
2:07 oo naman since 2014 yung Mimi pinalabas may ginayahan for sure. Pero yung characters nila Seth and Francine halos same doon sa kdrama na animator/mahilig mag drawing yung lalaki at yung babae mas bata sa kanya. Try mo panuorin kahit trailer ng kdrama halos pareho mga vital scenes
I was hesitant to watch this din dahil di rin ako fan ng mga bida, pero gave it a chance because of good reviews and nagustuhan ko din siya. In fairness, ang galing.
It is a keri lang movie for me. Not bad, not great either. Worth it na pampalipas oras na movie.
Ang dami niyang plot holes and anachronism. Yung 2009 scenes hindi ko mafeel na 2009 kasi yung salita ni set lakas maka- gen z. Yung mga car sa background ni seth sa luneta halatang hindi 2009. Pati yung mga buildings na pinakita ni seth sa videocall halatang present.
At uso na ba mobile data nung 2009? At videocall using cellphone? Kung meron man nun nung 2009, hindi siya ganun ka common pero bakit parang napaka common lang nung 2009 kung gamitin ni seth ang mobile data at video call/facetime.
At yung ending… mejo na uncomfortable ako kasi parang indirect grooming siya for me? Idk. Ang laki ng age gap nila. Tapos hinintay talaga ni seth ung character ni francine? At 21 pa lang character ni francine. Sana niliitan na lang nila yung age gap.
And the concept of magkaibang timeline is not so original. Pero feel good movie lang naman to so keri na.
Iba iba naman type natin. But for me it is a 9/10. Not cringe.. i super love the last 30 mins of the movie. Mabuti naman napansin ng new york times ang movie. Hig achievement.
