Early detection is the best talaga.. mataas naman ang success rate ng pag galing from breast C. And sa US ang dali ng gamutan ng C. Yung simpleng chemo parang drive thru na lang sa kanila, saten sa pinas mahabang proseso pa para makapag pa schedule.. So kaya mo yan jessie j.. i bang bang mo lang yan!!
11:56 I have completed breast cancer treatment and I have educated myself sa standard treatments ng breast CA. While it’s true that western countries are better at diagnosing this disease and access to treatment is way better, the treatment process is basically the same pa din. You can’t have a drive-thru chemo. There are 2 to 3 chemo drugs per session and each takes between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. You can’t make it faster. No matter where you are in the world, no matter your class, chemo side effects suck big time. Also, there are aggressive breast cancer types (TNBC and HER2+) that can go from early stage to stage 4 real fast.
Scary. No one is spared. She sounded ok but deep inside for sure she's scared. Not for herself but for her young boy. She's only starting to enjoy family life. I can relate. I have a young one too and I can't imagine what goes through her mind after being diagnosed.
We have a family friend who was diagnosed stage 4 na and left 2 young toddlers. Nilaban naman nya but at stage 4 we all know slim na 5 year survival rate. Kaya magpa screen na or patingin agad if may kakaibang symptoms.
Get well soon. Ano po yung songs nya?
