    3. Nah actually she was better in Unexpectedly Yours as supporting actress. That's just right for her. She should win Best Supporting Actress for Unexpectedly Yours actually. If they put her as Best Actress, She might not stand a chance against Megastar Sharon Cuneta, Iza Calzado and Joana Ampil.

    4. I'd go for Julia B for Best Supporting Actress muna sa UY than Best Actress sa LSYB. Dahan-dahan muna. One Step at a time

  7. Joshua was good in his movie but I think they'll give the award to Dingdong who is equally deserving. Joana Ampil was great and so was Sharon Cuneta. Na-affect talaga ako . Di ko namalayan umiiyak na ako. Oh how she cried so much. And she controlled how her tears would fall. That was just amazing! Kaliwa then kanang mata, kaliwa , kanan!

Best Supporting Actress either si Aiko or Julia. Best Supporting Actor, hands down si EA!

  11. I think this will be another year where Abs actors would win again but this time , they're deserving.

I agree with some of you here, Sharon was awesome in UY. Joshua might win his first best actor award. Julia might win her first award too, and EA for Deadma Walking. Daming movie press Ang nagkagusto dito. Sana next time Sama sama na Ang Best Picture ke indie o hindi.

    1. I don’t know about the supporting actress but yes to the rest of them.

  12. I think Joana Ampil's performance was overrated. She sang the songs extremely well. But hands down ako sa subdued and effortless acting of Sharon Cuneta. Galing galing nina Aga at Dingdong sa movie nila . Tie sila for me. Aiko for Best Supporting Actress . It's high time that she gets an award after Maalaala Mo Kaya long time ago. Best Supporting Actor ko either si Enrique Til or EA who was hilarious in Deadma Walking.

Bakit di man Lang nanominate si Ronaldo Valdez while all the other men in the movie Seven Sundays were nominated? Anong gulo to?

    1. I agree about the guys being nominated but why not Ronaldo Valdez and Cristine Reyes too? Labo!
Robin and Sharon should win. Iba kasi Ang pinakita ni idol dito eh. Yung tattoos niya! May tututol ba kung manalo si Mega? She's a seasoned actress. I think matinding kalaban niya si Iza. Host kasi siya eh. Baka siya manalo haha. My BSActor is Ronaldo Valdez pa din eh. Puede na si Aiko sa BSA.

      Delete
    2. Sharon, Robin! Waaah! Ang saya if they both win! Deserving naman eh. Yung pamangkin nga niya na di deserving eh nanalo last year, si uncle pa na Urian awardee?!!

  19. Sharon, Derek, Alice Dixson and Nonie Buencamino.

    3. 2:52, 1:57 sharon cuneta. No way. Pls. Lets not move backwards. Ganyan style sa pilipinas eh. Pinapanalo natin mga di totoong deserving. Pls give wards to people that actually did something that other actresses cant do.

  23. Sayang Ang Larawan, sana Kay Regine na Lang nila binigay Ang role ni Joana!

Bakit di man Lang nanominate si Rachel Alejandro? Mas mahusay naman siya Kay Celeste no.

Di ko kilala mga nominees sa BSActor.
It's time that they recognize Sharon again this year. I feel he will get his Gawad Urian nomination or win for his movie. Sharon should have been nominated for Ang Pamilyang Hindi lumuluha ,pati si Moi Bien. Parang may ibang balak Ang Star Awards eh. Either Kim or Iza yata for Best Actress. Hosts kasi sila eh!

Good list of nominees this year!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. True. Ang Larawan would have made more money had it had Regine. But let's give Joana a chance cause she's also talented. She was moving in Ang Larawan but she didn't make me cry the way Sharon did for Unexpectedly Yours. I now understand why she is The Megastar.
Best Pics ko ang Ang Larawan at Respeto.

  24. Walang Empoy?? Galing niya kaya dun!

Alessandra or Sharon for the win!

  25. I want Maja Salvador to win because her performance in IDILY was no joke, heavy comedy tas heavy drama din. INDIE PA so unfiltered talaga.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Hosts sina Kim at Iza di ba? Eh di tie na sila! Haha!

    2. Sharon, Derek, Jasmine, Enrique for the win!

      Delete
    3. Jasmine should win. Ito Ang Curtis na umaarte! Yung isa, maganda haha!

I want Maja to win so they will give her movies na well produced but umiyak ako sa Unexpectedly Yours kasi parang di umaarte si Mega eh. Gripo kung umiyak eh!

      Delete
    4. Di kaya! Baka Kim kasi host siya eh.

      Delete
    5. Maja vs Kim? Ganda! But this is Sharon's award . No questions asked!

    6. For the love of God pls tanggalin si kim as as host, sakit sa tenga ang boses at sakit sa mata ang matigas na face!

  26. Maja Salvador for the win! Carson is iconic as Ivy Aguas/Lily Cruz. Maja did that!

  28. Ibang-iba si Yanni ng Unexpectedly Yours at Mika ng LOVE YOU TO THE STARS AT BACK ni Julia not to mention Kath of VKJ. Ganda ng filmography ng JOSHLIA. She should win an acting award for her performances on those three movies ;)

    1. Lol pareho lang atake nya, she cant shake off yon maarteng mannerism nya at yon pikit pikit mata. Pero magaling sya doon sa contrabida teleserye, doon pwde ba syang maging best actress.

That alone should give her an award. Iba din Ang husay ni Aga Muhlach sa Seven Sundays. Galing niya sa confrontation niya with Dingdong . Sharon must have helped motivating Julia in her scenes with her. This was Julia's best performance. I would prefer Rachel Alejandro over Celeste. She really made an effort to underact , galing niya. More effective than Joana actually eh!
EA should win a grand slam for BSA.

  30. Jennylyn was great in her movie. She's starting to master underacting but she's competing with one of the masters of underacting, Sharon Cuneta, who was affecting in her turn in Unexpectedly Yours. I'll have no complains if any of them wins.

    4. I saw sharon’s and jennelyn’s movie. Jennelyn disappeared into the role. She was not Jennylyn but the character. Im a fan of movies. So if it were me, i would give the award to somebody whose performance was so moving damang dama ko hangang sa buto ko. Pls. Dont compromise art with your own vested interest.

  43. I'm so happy to read the nominees this year, di siya cringe worthy. Basta I've seen the movies and I agree with some people here. Here are my winners... Sharon Cuneta - I'm not a fan but this movie made me like her cause of her excellent performance. May ilang kilig moments. Well cause this
is a romantic movie. But when it's time for dramatic and comedic moments, Sharon tops! Robin is a revelation here. I didn't know he can remove his astig way of acting and he was very effective too. I liked Celeste Legaspi though her role was small. And Enrique's scene was very touching. I would have liked a mother and son story for Sharon and Enrique . Grabe Lang Ang husay nila talaga!
