    7. 1:27 why did you experience grave injustice ? Bakit kami untouched, because we did nothing wrong that's why. Kulang ang kwento mo.

    8. 11:52, besh.

Magsubmit ka nga ke fp ng khit anong article or issue na nagsasabing mayabang si alden kc ive been fillowing fp for so many yrs now, there was no article or even a blind item about him being mayabang. Then and now.

      Delete

      Delete
    3. Kelan naging mayabang si Alden? Never pa na balita si Alden na mayabang, proven and tested by his peers & coworkers. since you are obviously a basher you will say otherwise, kayo at mga mulats. Sure Yan.
Ratings? Sobrang late ng oras pinalabas and the project itself was very controversial yet when it was offered to him, he didn't say no. It was a good & challenging role at ang galing galing nya.

Enjoy the show para mas lalo ka magigil sa galit kase Alden NAILED it. Hehehe

Alden was very good in portraying mr ilagan.

    10. ISA KANG MULAT NA NAG AABANG SA RATING! MAS AFFECTED PA KAYO KESA SA TOTOONG FANS! AT LEAST ALDEN WAS PREAISED FOR HIS POTRAYAL BY NON FANS & CASUAL VIEWERS ALIKE.. HINDI PILIT NA NAGTREND, AT HINDI NAMALIMOS NG PAPURI .. HE NAILED IT .. AT MAS MARAMI PANG PUPURI KAY ALDEN IN THE COMING DAYS KASI YUNG MGA GANITONG KLASE NG PALABAS DESERVES RECOGNITION

      Delete
    11. Never naging mayabang si alden. Wag ka imbento!!!

      Delete

Nakaka proud. Eh yung sa iyo... Waley!

I will never be a Marcos apologist.

I commend GMA Public Affairs, Alden, Gina, Bianca and Rocco for telling the story of Sir Boni.

  9. I read the feedback from Twitter last night, curious to see how people will react from this documentary, and I find it baffling how a lot of people have no idea na ganun ang situation noong Martial Law. To think na toned down pa ang pinakita sa TV (probably for the G Rating). I've read a lot of tweets na sa school, kapag topic ang ML, sinasabi lang na may curfew but never about the abuses, murders and disappearances. Kaya pala ang daming misinformed. Jusko.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. This is true. Our educational system is a failure.

      Delete
    2. My hubby and I watched it with our son (who is currently in senior high school), and you know what he told us after? He said he thought stories like Boni Ilagan's were just a myth because they were never discussed in school. Nothing about the corruption, desaparecidos and murders. Saan ba may pagkukulang? Sa teachers? Sa libro? Sa curriculum?

      Delete
    3. That's why I commend the people behind the documentary. They dare tell the real story in this age of misinformation and fake news. And kudos to Alden, for taking the risk in accepting this challenging and controversial role. We really should talk more about this issue and make sure, it doesn't happen again. I almost 50 now and I lived through those ML years.

      Delete
    4. I wonder bakit di na didiscuss sa school, to think naging Presidente si Cory at Noynoy, both victims of Martial Law. They should have compelled DepEd to include the atrocoties of Martial Law in their Philippine History subjects.

      Delete

      Delete
    6. 10:04 you are typical liberal democrat, indoctrinate the youth. Huli ka na sa balita, Cory and Noynoy are super heroes in some of the textbooks and CHR wants to build a Martial Law museum, kasi nga naman old na ang mga buhay during martial law so easy to manipulate history. Oh di ba bongga !??

      Delete
    7. I have a friend who grew up in Tuguegarao and she said na hindi talaga tinuro sa kanila mga abuses ng Martial Law. Even Manila Film Center tragedy akala niya myth lang.

      Delete
    8. 1:06 eh di ikaw ang mag-turo ng version nyo. Ang hindi nyo alam, the parents are telling the kids what really happened and why it happened. That's why EDSA rallies are down to a few hundreds.

Regarding martial law victims, Philstar article dated Feb 2013, 10-Billion peso already awarded by Congress on top of $2 billion awarded by Hawaiian court which according to NY Times Mar 2011, payments already being made to martial law victims.

  21. Alden taking on this role and giving it justice means he's not about the celebrity aspect of being an actor. He's about the art and getting important stories told. That makes him commendable and more respectable than someone who just does cute and cheesy shows and movies to please the fans. This guy has always come across as intelligent and with a lot of depth, and has nerves of steel. He may be angelic in looks and manners, but he also has a mind of his own and does not sacrifice his craft and talent, and always wants to improve himself. He felt he had a story to tell, and so he took on the role no matter how controversial and divisive it was going to be. He also acted the hell out of his character that even just his eyes were enough to show pain and emotions.

Mad props to him and kudos for his bravery. I didn't see Alden Richards. I saw Boni Ilagan. Haters and irrational viewers and Marcos apologists can get lost and p*ss off.
