    5. 12:20 first commenter and nakita mo negative imbis na intindihin point ni alex. How sad

    6. Hay naku may korean resto nga dito sa pinas mismo bawal pumasok ang pinoy. Nabalita pa yun. May nangyari ba? Wiz. Kung magkaisa lang sana tayo...

    9. Whether or not one is in his home country, he must be respected for his culture and preferences. Just curious though: why is Alex's explanation in the post in a mere note-taking app?

Like ko yang super marbled eh. Hehehehe.

  2. Majority of Koreans are really like that. They lose their cool quickly.

    1. Been to South Korea and yes, most of them are really rude. Some are nice, the educated ones who speaks English, but most are rude lalo na yung mga vendors.

      Delete
    2. Wonder why in reality, some are not polite or tolerable but sa movies and drama series nila, they seem to be nice and cordial rin. Their handsome and beautiful celebs, sa showbiz lang talaga siguro because you can't see naman guapo when you go there.

      Delete
    3. Wag kayo mag-comment na as if kilala nyo ang culture nila based lang sa pagbisita sa bansa nila once or twice or even thrice. Truth is yung pasigaw nila is not being high tempered, ganun ang uso sa kanilang pamamaraan para madaling magkaintindihan kase masyadong maingay sa city which is where the concentration of the people are. ~ Mukha lang Korean na tumira sa Korea

      Delete
    4. 2:10 " Their handsome and beautiful celebs, sa showbiz lang talaga siguro because you can't see naman guapo when you go there"

Kaloka ignorance mo. Talagang naniniwala ka na yung nakikita mo sa Korean Drama, represents Korea as a whole? Even locals find it laughable. So sino mukhang shunga na naniniwala kaagad? HAHAHA!

      Delete
    5. One example nung nagBoracay kami. Sobrang daming Koreans and mostly are rude. May isang middle age woman pa binangga ako nung naglalakad sila at nakatayo lang ako ha. Hindi man lang nagsorry. Tapos may nagpapicture sa aming magbabarkada, sila pa masungit. Tapos yung no smoking area may naninigarilyo, buti sinaway ng isang tagadon.

      Delete
    2. May mga ibang resto as in walang fat sana dun nalang sya iba dun eat all you can pa.

      Delete
    3. True!!! Mortal sin yun. Kawawang baka...

      Delete
    4. True!

      Delete
    5. Well, did you forget that the customer is always right? Dito sa US they trim the fat to a reasonably healthy amount.

      Delete
    6. mejo nagulat nga ako dun. fatty talaga ang belly area ng kahit anong hayop. so, expect fat and lots of it.

      Delete

      Delete
    8. Mas VERY WRONG logic mo 12:24! Umayos ka napakadami taba o tignan mo pic

      Delete
    9. Or cguro nung nag order sya dapat sinabi na nya na less fat. Kasi what if nga naman wala ng mag order nung dba? So lugi na ng resto.

      Delete
Esep esep

      Delete
    11. If walang fat na meat then i believe that's already a brisket or other parts. Meron mga kinds for koreal grill bbq esp iba ibang parts ng beef. Beef belly is really ma-taba and marbled with fats. Nu ba.

      Delete
    12. If there's a lot of fat then that's beef belly. If you want no or less fat then you should get beef brisket. Don't be confused na "sa ibang resto sana buffet pa walang taba" -- but serving beef brisket. Syempre wala talagang taba yun

      Delete
    13. She should've ordered other variant of meat if she doesn't like the one with fats. Kaya siguro nagalit yung korean because if less fat then that's other variant na and baka akala ibinalik nila yung order to change. Misunderstanding lang probably. Tho hindi dapat nag wawarla yung may ari since wala sya sa country nya

      Delete

      Delete
    15. 1:41 fyi in some korean restaurants i asked to replace my belly with less fat and they did without shouting at me. Dun kayo sa morato mababait koreans

      Delete

      Delete
    17. Its not what youre saying. Its how you say it.

      Delete
    18. 1:56 may taba pero di PURO TABA. Gets? Toinks

      Delete
    19. Mali yung manager to shout at them. Or don't order belly if you're being healthy.

      Delete
    20. The pic shows normal beef belly. They should have ordered chicken if they don't want fat. Not saying it's okay for the owner to shout at them... but she must have been irate since belly does contain lots of fats and that was the original order. Just saying

      Delete
    21. 12:48 correction, customer is NOT always right! tigilan m n yn ganyan thinking or entitlement bec in reality hindi yn totoo!

      Delete
Ayun malamang walang taba yun, may abs pa.

      Delete
    23. Please stop with the "di dapat nagwawala yung person kase wala siya sa country na." People have the right to get mind, especially if they feel they are being treated with injustice etc.

It's like you're saying... Filipinos in Korea can't get mad at waiters or waitresses or at any place, whatsoever, because it's not their country. Wrong logic. Dude.

      Delete
    24. This is beef belly and not pork belly. Normally. beef is more on the lean side which is why the best beef is marbled (they raise it where there is a reasonable amount of fat to make the meat more soft and tender not leathery), pero hindi naman gaya ng nasa picture na mukhang 80% fat at 20% lean meat.

      Delete
  4. Korean restaurants here in Cali are rude too.

  5. In japan, it's rude to make changes sa dish mo. It's disrespectful to the chef. Magagalit yung chef kapag nagrequest ka to omit or to add whatever sa food mo. di ko lang sure if same sa korea.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Well, Alex is not in japan! She's in the philis and the culture here is pag magrequest customer either be nice to decline or most likely sinusunod!

      Delete
    2. Fyi wala si alex sa japan. Dapat yan koreano magadjust sa kultura natin. Customer is king dito

      Delete
    3. Nasa Phil. Kasi sila. Kaya dapat sila mag adjust.

      Delete
    4. But that's in Japan. You're in the Philippines. Kung business owner ka ng foreign cuisine dito sa Pinas, you should be more open kasi iba ang culture dito.

      Delete
    5. Anong chef sinasabi mo e raw meat 'yung pinapapalitan?

      Delete
    6. 1:15 LOL!!!!! Tama

      Delete
    7. At bakit magagalit?

      Delete

      Delete

      Delete
    10. 2:08 she requested for lesser they couldve trimmed the fat instead. A good server couldve given her other options to cater the customers request but never be rude. Binabayaran nila yun tama lang to ask what u want to get

      Delete
So i dont know if ganun din ang culture in korea. And since korean ang may ari, and mostly koreans nmn ang kumakain sa kanila, so maybe that's what they are used to. In this situation, cultural differences could be a factor, yun lang yung point ko. Dami nyo nang hanash.

      Delete
    12. If i were the manager, okay lang naman palitan. Kasi di pa naman nagagalaw. Or di pa naman naluluto yung karne. Wala naman masama sa ginawa ni alex. Hindi pagiging rude yun sa chef. Kaya nga pinapalitan na bago pa lutuin. Haha

      Delete

      2. it doesn't make sense for any owner to start screaming at paying customers unless they've been triggered by the customers bad attitude and/or unfair demands.
      3. Racism goes both ways. It's never right to disrespect others based on their race alone. Irrespective of the country you're in.

  8. Tama!

      Delete
  16. Although koreans are short tempered people...humingi ba naman ng less fat beef...kaya ka nasa restaurant para kumain di para maging health concious. If they are being health conscious sana sa vegetarian resto sila kumain or nagsalad na lang. napakas**pid naman kase ng demand eh. I like Alex pero sis wala kang ipinaglalaban.

  34. Racist comment from an ignorant customer. Lesson: gather your facts before ordering.
Beef, pork or anything from the belly is considered fatty. Yes, there are belly that are fattier than others, just like human belly, but with animal belly they are more likely fatty. If you order it from a restaurant, expect more fats not lean meats. Thats a fact.
The manager might have been rude, fine, but as what every restauran's rule is, "they have the right to refuse service to anyone". Foreigners go overseas to find opportunites, just like us Filipinos, but we dont owe anyone our fortune specially to celebrities who seem to expect VIP treatments all the time.

    1. Filipinos are always the inferior race so it's nice to see someone telling us to stand up for what we know is wrong esp sa foreigners in our own country. Kasi pasweldo sila. Ikaw magisip, in a restaurant if a customer requests sometimes even cancels a order the crew esp the manager should be nice enough to accomodate. Nagets mo ba mr KOrean wannabe

    4. Nothing racist with the comment 1:17. Kahit paulit ulit mong basahin there's not a tad bit of racism in it. Where are u coming from? It's a plain rant...

    5. Clap clap clap! Feeling VIP kasi din eh.

    6. Yes!! Generally speaking, PINOYS are courteus and respectful!! After 15 years abroad, when i came to visit the Phil. napakarespectful ng mga sekyu! May maam and sir pa! Nakakapanibago!

    8. Customer is always right, this is why you treat them well para bumalik. Mali yung gnawa ng manager in all levels. Kahit pa ignorant yung unorder or what the point is, accomodating ka dapat hindi naman unreasonable yung request

      Delete
    9. @1:44 AM If you can't see racism in the celebrity's comment then you lack comprehension. It's as obvious as day what she's inciting.

  37. Not defending the attitude of the manager. Hehe peace

    ReplyDelete
  38. I don't like Alex but she has a point there.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Parang ang OA. Racist ka pa. This was an altercation between a customer and store owner. Do not take out the "race card"...

    ReplyDelete

    1. I agree mga reverse racist.

      Delete
    2. Agree with this. Not about the race. If the manager was Pinoy, Alex will surely rant differently.

      Delete
    3. Nope, if this was a pinoy manager, the shouting will never happen. Mababait ang pinoy no 2:04 and 1:35

    4. Talaga lang 2:32 AM huh? Makageneralize ka naman.

  43. PURO TABA ang binigay kc mas mura! Daya!

  44. Kahit papalitan niya yan, ganyan parin iseserve niyan kasi ganyan ang inorder niya. Before ordering, she should've asked kung alin meat ang may less fat.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Yes there will be fat but not this much fat.

I dont like Alex but can you look past beyond that and get her statement on point

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Her statement is not on point!!! It's racist! What is her point in pointing the race of the Manager? The manager, as an individual, was being rude to her. It's not the whole Korean population. You are being very small minded.

      Delete
    2. Don't generalize. I'm in a city where Korean restaurants are thriving! Their staff are treated well. Usually, mga Pinoy staff pa ang tatamad tamad, pretends not to see customers, and are always chatting. The Korean owners stay in the kitchen and do cashier work. Most of the time, its our kababayans that give me headaches and not the foreign owners!!!!

    1. well said 2:24

    2. Correct!!! It's wrong to say it's because of her race. The manager, as an individual, is rude. This celebrity needs to stop being racist.

    3. AGREE. It's just bad service. But you know naman tayong mga Pinoy racist kaya hayan....

They really are rude and short tempered. Mas ok pa ang mga japanese, because they are always polite, mas mabait and very patient.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    1. Agree. Minsan nga talagang fatty beef ang translation for flavor dapat iba inorder nya. Na insulto siguro ang owner. It's ordering sashimi and saying it's hilaw!

    ReplyDelete

Also, mali yung ginawang ng manager pero for alex to say "esp when she's in the Philippines coz we are hospitable and caring... it is because of us that's why they have their business and they are earning" is wrong. Ang condescending. Pag si alex talaga, lagi feeling nya importante sya. Besides most Korean restaurants are established for Koreans in the Philippines. Hindi para sa mga pinoy.

  55. Weve been eating at that resto for so many times na at mabait naman owner friendly pa mapapinoy! Beef belly inorder mo and what would u expect? Less fat for beef belly? Really? Kung papalitan yan may fats parin ibbgay sayo. Makareklamo ka Masyado feeling. Baka nahurt ka at di ka knows nila? Echosera..

    ReplyDelete
  56. You asked for belly with less fat??!! Huh?!!? It's a korean restaurant not an organic whatever purist food shop duhhhh?! Kaloka ka

    ReplyDelete
  57. Dami kuda. Just look at the pic. Puro taba. Hindi ko din kakainin yun puro taba. Other korean restos are not like that.

  58. dapat sinabi na kasi kung ano gusto mo sa umpisa palang. i.e., less fat, no oil, no cheese, etc.

    1. Hindi yan luto! Lulutuin pa lang!! The resto gave them cheap meat! Kasi puro taba!

This is our country.
