The Philippine National Police has a list of 54 celebrities, among them the host of a "top-rating" television show, who are involved in illegal drugs, Director General Ronald Dela Rosa said during Tuesday's Manila Overseas Press Corps Forum.

The PNP had arrested radio disc jockey Karen Bordador, actresses Sabrina M and Krista Miller, and two men's magazine models for possession of illegal drugs.

Dela Rosa added that the list of 54 celebrities was separate form the list of 30 narco-celebrities submitted earlier.

Being kept confidential

Meanwhile, NCRPO regional director Chief Superintendent Oscar Albayalde said that the list of 54 narco-celebrities contained TV and radio personalities, even disc jockeys, but no broadcast journalist.

Albayalde added that releasing the list to the public would depend on the president since the document was a confidential watchlist. "It's being kept confidential. Up to President Duterte kung ilalabas or not. Pero ang sa amin is this list came about from different informatiom gathering," he explained.

The NCRPO chief called the celebrity list was a "normal" watchlist, similar to the list of suspected drug users and pushers. Both needed constant validation.

Albayalde noted however that the list could only be used for building a case and was not evidence against the celebrities.

"It's just a document for our use, for our consumption," Albayalde said. — DVM, GMA News

    1. Bat pa may mga ganito?? Kailangan i reveal?? Wow.

    2. Dipa yan sure, kase baka yung pusher lang nagsabe then need pa nila ng ebidensya. Wag muna ikuda on tv kc may image sila. Mamaya mademanda pa kayo

    3. Anon 1:17 basahin ng mabuti yung column masyado kang napapahalatang walang logic pinagsasabi. May sinabi bang ni reveal at wala pa namang ni mention names. Di mo ma gets dahil walang substance yung utak mo mapapahiya pa tuloy lalo yung mga kakamping anti tulad mo sa pinagkukuda.

Mahirap to name names na wala namang solid proof. Sisira ka lang ng buhay at reputation kung basta na lang sila maglalabas ng mga pangalan on the basis of hinala.

What is the point of having that list? Kung walang concrete evidence, para ano pa? Confidential daw? It is just a matter of time na lalabas yan. OA masyado na ang war on drugs nato!

I still want my future generations to live a peaceful life.

Wala.

  13. Hays!

I am not against your war on drugs Mr. President. What I'm against, are the methods used.

  14. Same sentiment too. Haunt for pushers and users is good pero i noticed ginagamit namang pogi points nung mga sa puwesto ang war against drugs chuva na to. Just like what happened last time nung bawiin ni duterte ang accusation with certain people kasi mali pala intel nya. Smh.. kahit mag sorry pa sila nang 100x the damage has been done.

  19. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty by court of law.. nobody shld place the law into their hands.. wala namang drug lord na naaresto, small time drug peddlers lng and the reason they sell is because walang trabaho..why not create jobs for those who surrendered...kapit sa patalim sa hirap ny buhay...

    1. Agree! I haven't heard of them arresting big time druglords. How could they? A lot of them come from China and other countries. They're just going after the small time drug peddlers and possible users. Haaay. Parang bandaid lang ang ginagawa. Temporary fix for an even bigger problem.
