Presidente nyo sya. Do not put all the blame to the president alone. It was all the people who voted for him to become the president. Mga taong bumoto sa kanya. Ayaw nyo pala mapahiya or masira tayo sa international community e di dapat hinayaan nalang natin manalo yung ibang kandidato. And no I am not a Dutertard as many of you would say. But I choose to see the brighter side. Hindi lang ito ginagawa ng presidente para sayo, sa akin, he is doing his best para ayusin ang Pilipinas para sa susunod na henerasyon.

    6. 9:02 AM Edi sana marunong din syang i-control yung mouth nya. Let's face it. He represents the Philippines at nag rereflect sa atin ang mga statements nya, kahit ang vast majority sa atin ay malamang hindi sumasang ayon.

Kumbaga every few steps forward, several steps back.

  2. that's because of all the negative issues the Philippines is getting from the international community.

Pweee!

    2. exactly my point bes, mas madami pa bagay na dapat solusyunan..sayang lang ang gagamitin pondo dyan..ibigay na lang sa mga medical and health institutions mas makaktulong pa.

      Delete

      Delete
    5. yes walang mapapala except sa buhos ng dollars coming from ADS and other states who will come here in the PHILIPPINES to spend tour and stay for almost months before and after event. mabilis lang kase kumuda lalo na kung mabilis ang bunganga kesa sa utak

      Delete
    6. Yes tama pero the connotation of WHY it was cancelled gives the Philippines a bad image

      Delete
I am not a fan of beauty pageants so ok lang sakin. Pero are you forgetting na nung pinitch nila kay duterte ang idea of holding Miss U here, inassure nila na hindi masyado malaki ang gastos and knowing Duterte, makakasigurado tayo na hindi nya papayagan na napakalaki ng magagastos. While that is true, nakakalungkot lang dahil this whole thing of having Miss U here is to boost our image and tourism na makakatulong sa investments and economy pero waley na dahil sa mga nangyayari sa Pilipinas.

      Delete
    8. Eh ayaw nga nung head of the state ng partnership. Gusto niya solo lang siya. Siya lang. Siya, siya, siya.

      Delete
    9. Ignorante talaga ang iba.. Wala daw madadalang maganda ang Ms. Universe pageant.. Tourism and exposure for possible investments and dala niyan.

      Delete
    10. LOL! Anong pondo naman sinasabi mo? The government won't be shelling any funds for the Miss Universe. All the funds will be sourced from private companies and individuals. Try mo na lang kaya mag-donate, unless you don't have the means to do so!

      Delete
Mang Dado's Security Agency?

      Delete
    12. 12:48 LUH? anong hindi gagastos government? Sino gumagastos ngayon ng meetings ng DOT? Sinong mag eescort sa mga candidates? Sino mag sesecure ng venue? Isip isip din po... we might not be spending a big amount of money but the resources from government will be used greatly. Sayang lang sa oras yan

      Delete
    13. 1:26 You don't even realise na mas malaki ang magiging return neto because of international exposure and tourism.

      Delete
    14. Tanggol pa more dutertetards. Good luck!

      Delete
    15. 4:43 Prove it first that hosting international events has resulted into a positive economic trade.

      Delete
  10. Sana nga wag na dito gawin

  11. Tuwang tuwa ang mga fans ni duterte. Good job mr pwesident.

    1. Korek! So let it be! Ska obviously d p tau handa jan kc malaking budget ang kelangan. Unahin ntin ung totoong mkakatulong s bansa.

      Delete

      Delete
  13. Parang si steve nagbasa ulit ng venue pagkatapos sasabihin nya, sorry I read it wrong! It will be held in Colombia instead hahaha! Duterte wants to do his own thing for the Phils without the aid of US and Europe. Lets see what will happen to tourism.

So mukhang wala pang finality. Or naka last minute decision change because of the bad press that the country is getting. Hay....

    ReplyDelete

    1. kung maka hay kana man baks..kala mo malaki kakaapekto sa buhay mo pag di natuloy dto.. tama lang yan bawas abala sa atin iwas luto issue pa..iwas isis chena, iwas traffic at iwas gastos pondo pa...wag kang ano dyan.

      Delete

      Delete
  15. Mas ok na siguro na sa ibang bansa na ganapin, mas may chance na mag back to back sina Pia and Maxine...

    ReplyDelete
  16. Its actually a good thing, in some way.

If Maxine will make it in top 15s, 10s (or Miss Universe) eh its because of her own merits.

    ReplyDelete
  17. It is for the best. Philippines has a negative reputation at present because of the killings. It is okay. God is protecting our country from further embarassment.

    ReplyDelete

  20. Jusko ang OA ng iba. Sure ba kayo na yan ang dahilan???

    ReplyDelete
  21. DU30's government clearly was the real influence!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  23. no surprise at all, if true. the pageant is miss universe, and currently, with all that is happening, the philippines seems to be alienating itself from the universe. *truthbetold

    ReplyDelete
  24. with all the kidnapping happening ryt now in our country, its best to cancel Miss U dahil for sure a lot of high-profile quests will come visit our country

    ReplyDelete
  27. I think it's for the better. Philippines has lot of things to sort before very high-profile events can take place there. Right now, it is a security nightmare to take care of that much number of candidates and their entourage.

      Delete
    3. NAIVE to say Ms. U organizers will take on ALL the costs. From security, to traffic management, it will still be a logistics challenge for government to support it at a time when we have true issues to address. Maybe next time. Many would still rather have the country be rid of rampant narcopolitics.

  28. Thank you to all of the local and internartional media who lambasted the country in the midst of the efforts of making the country a little safer for citizens and tourists.

    2. what I don't understand is why can't a person do the job without destroying our diplomatic relationship with other countries. We all hate drugs pero matanong ko lang anong country ba galing yan? Diba yan ang gusto nating ally? And we all forget that we have poor fishermen that can't feed their families because they are being bullied in scarborough shoal, their concern is not drug related, hows that?

It will actually bring more sa Pinas dahil dadagsa ang tourists at dadami ang trabaho at businesses kahit during the span of the event lang. The down side is, mas prone sa threat, dadami ang basura at dadagdag pa sa traffic for sure that will only highlight the incompetence of our country. Thank you so much!haha

  40. Good riddance. It's not yet the right time to hold the pageant here in the Philippines. The current Duterte administration is still steering the wheels of national and international issues.

Not to mention the barbaric comments made by President Digong. His comments always have a long feature in the international news. Add to the latest controversial remarks about the Hitler-inspired nega na naman.

  50. Matuto kayong kumilatis. Exaggerated ng media, both local and international, yung ibang sinasabi ni Duterte. Oo, madumi bibig nya pero, he was purposely taken out of context sa Obama issue and this time sa Hitler issue.

    1. Ikaw ang dapat matutong kumilatis. If he acts and talks in a decent manner, hindi sana siya ma.criticize. Dutertard telege.

Mga 7 years from now.

  60. Itong digong na ito puro kahihiyan dala. Hinihila ang bansa pababa. Pambansang kahihiyan... kawawang bayan, laughing stock ng mundo.

  61. Good. It will be much ado with very little ROI. As the previous Miss Universe pageant held here, the effort and funds poured into the event didn't translate to $ earned in tourism they hoped the event will generate. The pageant itself is obsolete, nagtrend lang because of Steve Harvey's brilliant mistake. Pinoys are only a few of the remaining people who care about this pageant. This is good news.

  62. Kahit madaming gawing kabutihan si duterte
di talaga sya gugustuhin ng media. Di sila sanay sa pranka at enforcer. Hawak sila ng US ganun yon. Maghubad at rumampa??
