    1. Like what? Posting senseless photos? Is she even aware that our country still has to prioritize a lot of real and legit issues and concerns first?

Kahit man charitale projects sa Philippines, wala.

Pia could have seen that side of the argument and I could praise her for that.

    1. Her best legacy would be to fulfill her role in the best way possible and accomplish things she will be remembered for.

    2. Best legacy = photo with Doc Mike na naka boxer shorts

    3. Sad but true for now 1:41.

    4. 1:41AM, correct. Haha!

Hindi pa BF, but together na in one room and bagong gising photo agad ang inuna upload sa IG. Haha!

Perspective, please. She won a beauty pageant, not an election to lead the free world. With the level of local economic activity and jobs an event like Miss Universe could generate in the country, I say that would be a great legacy for someone like her, given her position.

  4. Hahahahaha.

  5. I don't think this such a big deal for her to even go up to the president and discuss this. I'm living abroad and not alot of people even care about Ms. Universe.

Ms. Universe Pia, what have you done so far during your reign? Do you just go back and forth between the U.S and Philippines? Any charity work? Something worthy of one day being on the cover of Time magazine or FHM is just good enough?

    1. Please. As if naman may katuturan talaga ang Ms Universe! It's not like she has a government position! Take a chill pill baks.

Bayan muna bago kababawan.

    1. True that.

    2. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Bayan muna bago kababawan. I like that.

    3. SUPER AGREE! KABABAWAN!

    4. BAYAN BEFORE KABABAWAN!

    5. Not a priority. Gastos lang yan at traffic. Tsaka pag nagplace si Maxene sasabihin luto. Mabuti ng sa ibang country.

  8. They need to fix our international airport first before they hold this big event. If we want to promote our country, we should all welcome our visitors via decent airport. (sigh)

    1. Yes! Nakakahiya eh

      Delete
    2. Correct!!! Being the worst airport in the world, how can we show the ms. U candidates the country that we have. Wag muna ipilit Ang Hindi Kaya. Pag dumaan pa Sa naia road, diosko!!! 3rd world Na 3rd world. Ang traffic pa.

      Delete

      Delete
    4. I think this is not yet the right time to hold this event. The government is just starting to fix the mess of the past (airport, traffic, drugs, etc.) Let the gov't focus first on more pressing issues before showcasing the country to international event like this. In fact some advance countries are no longer interested with this kind of thing; tayo na lang yata mahilig sa mga beauty pageant. The DOT Secretary should focus more on improving local tourist spots instead of prioritizing this event. Not now please, Ms. Pia.

    5. why don't we show them Davao? exhibit A nga di ba, look at davao! di ba paraiso dun? it would be an opportunity to showcase the safest, cleanest, most beautiful, drug-free city of PH!

  9. Mr. President, delay it a year or two please. Ples.

    1. Pia may not think that's good for her career but I couldn't agree with you more.

  10. Please lang Pia, I know you mean well but it is not the time. The President has just started improving the status of the Philippines. There are more relevant projects that he should focus on and allocate more budget such as transportation and public health. Hosting a beauty pageant should be the least of his priority.

    1. I think many can see it has mostly been a PIA agenda

  11. Dear Pia,
Having the Ms. Uni contest in the Phil is potentially a double edged sword - may be good for tourism but it may also highlight our country's worst features such as traffic. What is your plan of action?

    xoxo,

  12. Change is coming. Puro pang labas Lang Ang nababago pero it's the same bulok system inside. Yuck. Babaw talaga ng mga Tao sa pilipines

    ReplyDelete
  13. Please do not approve this Mr. President.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I get Pia want this while people still know who she is. BUT, mahirap bumida na di naman handa pa. Baka tayo mapahiya. From a terrible airport to traffic woes --- to the fact that at this point, marami pang dapat pag tuonan ng pansin it would be prudent to wait. Hindi naman NO. Not yet.

  15. no to spending on a beauty pageant. bread, not circuses.

    ReplyDelete
  16. And allocate funds from poor people to this stupid pageant? NO WAY! Go do something else for the betterment of people instead of talking about this nonsense at this time. Ms. Universe what have you done?

    ReplyDelete
  17. This is useless.

  18. Pageants are so outdated, tacky and just plain dumb. Majority of developed countries don't even watch them anymore.

  19. Im crossing all my fingers too na sana hindi matuloy. Dami mong alam na kababawan Pia. Tse!

  20. TBH, I can't see the returns being worth all the trouble and inconvenience this event will cause us all.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Ang KABABAWAN nga naman. Emergency repair of airport runways even caused turmoil and lost of millions of pesos na income sa aviation industry during the 6-7 hour closure, mas uunahin pa ang kababawan ng walang sense na Miss Universe na ito?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Please, wag sa Manila. Traffic na nga madadagdagan pa. Better yet, please wag na sa Pilipinas. *cross fingers*
