    6. Miss know it all ang dating at may halong hypocrisy. Miss Toengi you chose to work in an industry that dictate the unrealistic beauty standards that Filipinos try to attain today at ang mga tisay na katulad mo ang nananaig. Isip isip pag may time

      Delete

      Delete
    8. I use that particular brand, hoping na mag lighten singit ko. Pamgit kasi sa swimsuit. Hindi kakulay ng body ko. I use whitening deodorant din for my armpit, medyo dark kasi.

      Delete
    9. eh bakit dati G, nung maitim pa ung kili kili mo, pinaliwanag mo diba,

  13. Agree with G here. Filipinos are obsessed with being white. It's ridiculous. Filipino skin is a gem. Sad that even media and its personalities are drilling into Filipinos' minds that white skin is more beautiful, more superior and better looking. Smh.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Sus need ba kasi talaga paputiin ang K**s?

    ReplyDelete
  15. HAHAHA. Awkward din talaga yung lactacyd whitening. Never purchased it cause its way too awkward that you "need" to bleach your vajayjay. For what? I think its pretty normal for Asians.

As for the BlackLivesMatter, I am also against racial discrimination in al colors. Caucasian is not the highest race, nobody is. Its sad that this society dictates what is only acceptable shape and color to gain respect. We live in the 21st century, its about time to stop this wide inequality.

  34. She does not understand what Black Lives Matter means. For them, only black lives matter, not white, not brown. Only blacks. Cops were gunned down last week in Dallas by the Black Lives Matter member. Attacks by Black Lives Matter are being carried out across the US. If she wants to support a cause, make sure that it is not another pseudo-terrorist group.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Wow a pseudo-terrorist group. You are one of the reasons why she posted that. White-washed mind you have there. You don't see any diversion made by both camps. Yes all lives matter. Ever wondered why a white guy would terrorize a church full of black people but is only called a psycho. But when a brown or black guy would terrorize or kill people in public, by just seconds he/she is deemed a terrorist. This is near as the battle of los angeles. They are trying to bend our minds full scale so we can focus on the situation as we are oblivious what is really happening behind. I guess you are lucky you did not experience any oppression because of your skin color. It happens here in the Philippines too. When you go on an interview, your skin is white then the other one is darker, automatically you get picked regardless of your skills because you are pleasing to the eye. And then comes the insecurity of most dark-skinned people. They become desperate to achieve a fairer skin not only to become pleasing but to get better opportunities. I guess white privilege is real

  44. To those who are saying "all lives matter" are COMPLETELY IGNORANT.

BLACK LIVES MATTER is about unarmed and innocent black people being SHOT AND KILLED with NO JUSTICE being served for the police officers who murdered them. this is about black lives being murdered MORE than any other race in America under a system that's set up from hundreds of years of racism and slavery.

Filipinos, please open your eyes. This is not about whose lives matter more, it's about whose lives are being murdered in front of our eyes, on social media, by those that are supposed to protect and serve us- with no repercussions. Please educate yourselves and seek justice.

    RIP Trayvon Martin
    RIP Eric Garner

    1. They should tell that to themselves. Black-on-black crime is so rampant, pero mas sinesensationalize ang police brutality against them. When in fact, marami din police brutality against other races. Before these blacks cry foul, they should fix their community first. The U.S. consists of 13% Blacks, and yet they commited more than 50% of homicides.

    2. All lives matter! Kahit saang panig ng mundo or whatever your skin color is you will experience discrimination in your life.

If you will not do anything against the law you will not be reprimanded by the authorities. If you think and feel that your were treated unfairly, why don't you ask yourself? Why you're were treated unfairly. We don't live in the perfect world.

You can make other people/authorities/government responsible for your life. Be a good law abiding citizen.

    1. It is propagated not only by liberals, but they pave way to so much hate. You have the knowledge that it has something to do with what is going on behind, but you don't care. There is a connection actually. We see white as elegant and black as something negative. It is white privilege which is unfair. Many light colors can have benefits or opportunities as well like jobs. The black lives matter was all about skin color and the connection of the unfair treatment by society towards them. And because of this issue, as you have said, the liberals are doing their move since their electiom is near. Both candidates can use the situation for their campaign to win hearts. Just imagine how dirty and disgusting their way to campaign. Sad actually

Just because I'm not in the streets shouting "black lives matter" it doesn't mean that I'm complacent and insensitive. Filipinos are generally matiisin and Di masyadong mareklamo. My husband complains and whines about a 5-car traffic ako deadma lang kasi sanay na tayo Don and we are very patient. At iba naman ang pinag lalaban ng BLM group, it's discrimation against blacks. Nothing wrong in siding with them pero yung accuse mo kapwa mo Pinoy na walang pakialam dahil mhilig mgpaputi, ikaw ang may problema. About the whitening feminine wash, i think it's more on HYGIENIC purposes rather than whitening per se. Women must be clean and hygienic down there all the time.

Whitening products don't necessarily equate to BLACKLIVESMATTER.

    2. And what can you say about those who make an effort to darken their skin color? You see nothing wrong on them diba? But you find it sickening for pinoys who want whiter skin? Because they're pinoys, you look down on them, on their preference.

  69. Choice na namin if we want out singit to be white or pantay ang kulay. Anubey.

  70. Its a good thing may ganyan nga e! At least may mapagpilian ang consumers.

    ReplyDelete
  71. So? It's part of our culture. Filipinos prefer to have a pale complexion than having a tanned skin. Choice namin yun pwera na lang kung racist kami sa maiitin or we look down on those people with dark complexion. Diyan pwede niyo kaming habulin.

  78. She should also realize how some pinoys were discriminated by the very same people who are protesting now. Also, they may not be joining because they believe that the issue was just being blown out of proportion. Or that they would rather work and earn a living than protest.

Off topic (and ad hominem): binayaran ba nya yang hawak nya? Or cpuld it be possible that that thing might have magically crawled inside her bag? Hehe

  79. Giselle before before you speak think first. I live in Chicago where at least 30 people get shot everyday because of gang related crap. These are black people killing each other. A lot of innocent kids get shot. So stop saying black lives matter and just pertain to everybody

  80. Most of these comments are truly shocking. It's a true proof how deep the Filipino mindset continues to be colonize. It's not like what she said wasn't true right?? The nerve of some people triviliasing skin bleaching like it's not some big deal. It is a HUGE, BIG DEAL. And don't compare skin bleaching to changing your sex organs cuz if you don't know what the diffrence is, god, I hope someone helps you 🙏....there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with having a darker skin and I wish Filipinos would get that. This sense of self-hate and low self-esteem is truly saddening. And to all the people saying #Alllivesmatter well it will only matter once #Blacklivesmatter

  82. This G. Tongi girl need to shut up. Most Filipinos, in the U.S. are not dumb... they don't side/ or not side on anyone's side... just because of the color of their skin.

I think majority of people don't join the "Black Lives Matter" is because of how preposterous it is. So Asian lives don't matter? So Hispanic lives don't matter? Etc. Furthermore... do you see Asians screaming racism each time they feel taken advantaged of? Additionally... I can't tell you enough stories where Black people take advantage of other minority groups; siding on people with the same color as them. This G Tongi is just a bandwagon rider. Black Lives Matter... doesn't promote equality among races... it promotes division among races. Furthermore... their agenda is so self-serving. It should be "ALL LIVES MATTER... irregardless of color/sexual orientation/lifestyle."

  83. Black lives matter is another thing, but i do agree that that the whitening craze here in the philippines is absurb. It's like you have to be fair to be beautiful. Im pinkish fair because my dad is german, but so wish i was dark skinned like my mom. Hope filipinos will love their own skin. Its amazingly beautiful.

And oh, try going to Oakland and let me know what you find out about black people there..you are so OA

We are under capitalists' control and we are just eating up what they throw at us. We like to value what is uncommon, to make us unique.

The corporations will target what is hard to achieve para bumili ang mga tao.

Nakakalungkot lang kasi nagdedevelop tayo ng nature of insecurity and depression towards those that can't afford or unlucky enough not to fit the standard model.

Nag papa-tan sya, did we just her. I have fair skin and I love my skin and glutathione is anti-oxidant I don't use because i can't afford. But who care if some Filipinos wants to whiten your skin. It's non of her business. Nakiki uso Lang.

  91. #blacklivesmatter has to beyond skin color, otherwise it still has a tint (no pun intended) of racism. i empathize with the african americans in the us, but ms. g, can you please also remind everyone the plight of our country with regards to how china has claimed some of our islands? although i find it horrible what is going on in the us, we have enough problems of our own HERE IN OUR COUNTRY. you have the luxury to fight for the rights of the black people, we don't because we are busy fighting for ours. #everylifematters correct? #gotoengigotitwrong
