    1. Bruno Mars has hit the big time since 2010, baka ngayon nyo lang sya nakita magperform that's why, nfl recognized his talent.

    2. Drop the "Filipino". He may be half Pinoy pero his training was Western style.

      Delete
    3. Can you get over the "represent thing." People like you who keep mentioning "represent" etc. are so annoying. Bruno, is a good performer, irregardless of his race. The merit of people's abilities, talents, etc. should never be based on their race.

      Delete
    4. ⅛ or ⅟₁ ₆ nalang ata ang filipino blood nya.

      Delete
    5. Expected na magaling na siya. Yung previous superbowl performance nya 2 yrs ago was well-received and considered as one of the BEST.

      Delete
    6. Proud to be pinoy na naman.tantanan na yan.

      Delete
    7. Aray ang Prudent nyo naman..sobrang robotic shrewd..on point..Ok i drop the FILIPINO WORD THINGY.. Ay un Represent ba synonymous s Pinoy Pride? I thought its an urban thug thingy na boom like 'Represent' like expression lang.. im a fan ever since, pansin ko lang yung mga tugtugan at jam vibe n bruno katulad ng chord progression sa OPM AND MAY KATUNOG SA MANILA BEATS NUNG MGA 70S AND 80S.

      Delete
    8. Stop this represent thingy. You don't see white people do that.

      Delete
    9. @12:04 Full pinay ang mother ni Bruno so that makes him 1/2 pinoy. I saw her interviewed with her brothers and sisters dito sa Pinas.

    10. Okey point taken.. the one thng im guilty about is being overzealous.. but one thing also should be STOP sa atin culture SUPER Grabe pouncing over on a simple comment.. In tagalog SOBRANG PATOLA.. na parang nakapatay na yung tao.. 1 and 2 same opinion is enuf olredi.. 3 and to the nth infinity is OVERKILL.. we shud stop this kase bka nasa top list na tayo as Worst oR OVER THE TOP OBNOXIOUS People in the net.. just my 2 cents lng po. 1. 1:09 ako super fan ng coldplay but i have to agree with you. Songs kasi ng coldplay is not pang ganitong event. Even their songs na upbeat are not upbeat enough pra sa ganitong setup. Dpat kasi sa halftime parang super npapasayaw ka, bruno mars and beyonce delivered. But i still love coldplay. This doesn't take away the brilliance their band has.

  5. Beyonce needs a new stylist, palaging ganyan suot nya.

    1. Even her songs and dance performances naman paulit ulit lang. Isa din syang me, me, me. Coldplay for me has the best songs and music of all time.

      Delete

You know the drill

      Delete
  6. Bruno my maaahn, you are reppin us mahn bigtime.. Slay them!

    5. @6:18 oh please. Yes, there are lots of Filipinos who are talented but lets not put it all down to race/ethnicity.. puwde namang hardworking din sila at passionate which makes them succesful sa craft nila.

      Delete
  8. Well.

    5. It's..... joke time!

      Delete
    6. Joke time to. Ask muna enrique to sing live and sing as good as bruno did. Nilapit ko talaga tenga ko sa speakers, i wanted to hear him better pra malaman if his voice is the same sa recorded nya, or at least close and yes, maganda talaga boses nya. So hush with the enrique and maja thingy. It's not gonna happen.haha

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hindi sila bayad to perform, baks.

The Super Bowl Halftime Show is one of the biggest platforms in the world to promote yourself as an artist. So, what do performers like Coldplay and Beyonce make for taking on such a big gig? ZERO. They DO NOT get paid.

As the Super Bowl reaches over 100 million viewers, the opportunity to perform at the halftime show serves as a free commercial for headlining acts. For example, this year’s headliner is the band Coldplay. They are kicking off their seventh tour in March 2016 and playing at the Super Bowl is a great way to pump up ticket sales.

      Delete
    2. Korek baks 2:24! In other words, to perform in Super Bowl haft time is a big opportunities to the artists. I'm pretty sure a lot of artists want to perform in that event pero di lahat deserving.

      Delete
    3. 2:24 Right. Just like when Bruno Mars headlined the halftime show 2 years ago, after his performance that night, his physical and digital sales jumped up to around 300%. He was known by music fans back then but after that Superbowl performance, the general public began to recognize him.

      Delete
    4. Superbowl just cover all the expenses and production costs. SB is big time, man!

      Delete
    5. 1:38 am it is a privilege for these artists . The Super Bowl is the biggest and most watched event , FYI. It takes months and months of deliberation by the producers to choose which artist will perform for the halftime. The NFL should be charging these artists to perform as it is considered as the most gigantic platform in TV history that has the widest reach that can generate the highest profile and revenues that an artist can achieve compared to other mediums. In short these artists should give NFL a piece of the pie in terms of financial gains.

      Delete
    6. It's unpaid sweetie. Coldplay is going on tour , Beyoncé is trying to promote her new song Formation, etc.. It's a commercial for their projects sweetie. The artist should be paying the NFL right?

      Delete
    7. 2:24 ahh ganun pala yun.. :)

      Delete
    8. Which i think hindi masyado nakatulong sa Coldplay yung appearance.na-outshine sya ng bonggang bongga.

      Delete
    9. 6:08 And i believe Bruno has an upcoming album right? Pampanabik mahn o mahn what you hav instore for us brunito?

    1. Kasi pag tinodo niya yan magmumukang front act si bruno mars saka coldplay lol

      Delete
    2. Beyonce voice is not high caliber, jennifer hudson is a better singer than her, dinadala lang sa choreography and stage presence.

      Delete
    3. @2:57, maybe coldplay but Bruno Mars will never be oustaged. Balik ka na sa kusina.

      Delete
    4. 2:57 weh?

      Delete
    5. @4:15 well..I could also say Adele is a better singer than Beyonce, but then parang hindi ata bagay sa atmosphere ng Superbowl kung sila (ni JEn Hudson) ang ngperform.

      Delete
    6. @4:15 Jennifer Hudson is a powerhouse belter nman, you compare her to Whitney not Beyonce. D pb high caliber ung mga kanta nya, listen and halo sama mo n ung love on top?

    1. Pwede bang maging proud without mentioning the nationality? Annoying yung may makikita kang pinoy pride sa mga international sites tpos wala ka namang nakikitang british pride, american pride etc. Basking in reflected glory tayo nakakahiya na minsan.

      Delete

      Delete
    3. Bruno is not only the pride of the filipinos, hawaii where he grew up is also proud of him,; also puerto rico and the jewish people because his dad is half puerto rican and half jewish. His paternal grandmother is pure jewish.

      Delete
Lets just celebrate the talent, no racial boasting!

      Delete
    5. Except for that pride pride thing.. bruh, thanks for pointing that out! phil tayag pala yun.. my swagger, shawty shawt mahn frm jabba pala un.. pareho sila ng pitik ni bruno.. pasado as kapatid.. magkasex appeal sila.. naalala ko bts ng jabba noon.

      Delete
    6. Exactly. People like the above are so annoying. It's like your talent/ability are only brought about by your race.

      Delete
    7. nakakadiri talaga

      Delete
They are big. Normal na yan sakanila. At mas ginaganahan din ang mga artists natin pag inaacknowledge sila, where as kung daanan mo lang ng tingin parang inignore mo lang. Tas sasabihin pinapabayaan.

      Delete

      Delete
    10. But guys frm the above lets be critical abt ds, ako matagal na ako fan ni bruno.. Pansin nyo yung mga kanta ni bruno halos same s Chord Progression, the HArmony, the rhthym,, even his lyrical tone and composition halos pareho sa OPM at Manila Sound/beats. Sabi nya heavy influence sya ng pops at mama nya in come to music..pansinin nyo please.

      Delete
    11. 9:59 PM wag na ipilit. I'm pretty sure his music is influenced by The Police, Prince, MJ, James Brown and some Reggae. He said it himself. Ang Manila Sounds naman took inspiration from the the artists na I've mentioned. Kaya akala mo lang parehas.

      Delete
  19. yung kay beyonce...kulang performance niya..im expecting more from her..but good nandyan si bruno mars

    ReplyDelete

    1. The broncos hero is the entire defence team... Von Miller is a beast and was voted Super Bowl MVP...

    2. Your point? And all the other people in there are Americans. Does that make them better then? Can you just be proud of the people above without having to point out their race as the reason for their success?

      Delete
  21. Coldplay was this year's left shark. Buti na lang anjan si Bruno Mars. Well yung kay Beyoncé may halong pulitika

    ReplyDelete
  22. Replies
    1. Agreed. 2014 with Bruno Mars was just pure talent at its finest while 2015 with Katy Perry had amazing props and of course, the left shark was adorable lol

      Delete
    2. but the best was michael jackson's with the same concept at the end of the halftime performance. nostalgia kicking in.

      Delete
    3. Katy perry with the sharks? Seriously?

      Delete
    4. Katy's halftime was overrated. Yung left shark lang talaga ang pinagusapan.

      Delete
    5. I mean let's get real, Katy's performance -- dinaan sa props at production value. Missy Elliot was even more entertaining... and si left shark.

      Delete
    6. Beyonce's Halftime performance in 2013 featuring Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams and this. Bruno did great also, total performer! Nothing beats pure talent.
