Rico talaga pinaka ka gwapo sa batch na yan and sya mas naunang sumikat sa lahat ng nasa cover. Extra lng sina Piolo and Jericho sa Star Drama Theather ni Rico before in 1997. Onemig and Diether were okay then, never mind pag nasalita. Hehehe. Rico was the ultimate matinee idol of his generation and is well remembered until now.
Anon 1:51... I dont think so... I got to work with Rico and got to talk about future plans. He's an entrepreneur at heart. He would have been somebody like Marvin but maybe on a bigger scale. He was using showbizz earnings for capital. Idol ni Marvin si Rico in terms of business sense. Look at Marvin now. Si Piolo kasi artist at heart bata pa lang nasa teatro na.

Rico was a true blue Talent Center artist while Piolo started sa That's Entainment, so do you think kung buhay pa sya unahin pa nila hindi naman sa kanila nagsimula? Duh! Even Rico never had the back ground in acting, he still became the best in his field because innate na talagang magaling sya.
Anon 1:54 well... yan ang perception ko when i personally got to talk to him. Yes he is talented just like JLC, they were both discovered doing commercials. Piolo i remember when he was asked how he was discovered... he said I auditioned. Piolo first teleserye palang he was nominated sa asian awards. First movie nominated na for Urian. Look at Rico's Filmography for his achievements. Kanya kanyang time rin yan. Was he really Star Magic's Flag bearer? Madami sila nung time na yun. I guess we will never know how far he would have gone. which is sad because he was really a good man and person.

I agree with one commenter here, baka mag full bloom ang kagwapuhan ni Inigo when he gets into his 20s. Oh I miss Rico Yan!!! He was well on his way to becoming a huge, huge star.
Kahit ako magiging super proud kapag ganyan. Imagine after how many yrs anak mo naman ang may Preview cover. And Inigo is one very talented kid. Wait til mag 20s ang bagets remember tayong lahat dumaan sa pagiging teenager at nag iiba talaga ang features ng mukha as we grow older kaya mas guguwapo pa yan. plus mas madedevelop ang talento sa pag awit pagsayaw at pag arte. ngayon pa nga lang adik na kami kay pugeh. Right project at pak! ganern. No.1 for me is ang kabaitan ng bata. pogi lalo na in person!
