Sabagay afford naman nila ang the best medical attention money can buy so why not?
Do you really need to use an accuvein just so you can find a vein?lol even if your patient is absurdly dehydrated and obese, nurses need not depend on such. But well, they have the moolah to splurge on equipments like that. #sidenote #dontforgetyourskills
I guess para di na magkasakitan. For me, I'd love that thing, since my veins are very small. Nurses or lab techs all complain. Only from left arm/hand that they can draw samples or find a big enough vein for IV. Sadly, my child have the same trait, and the one time she was confined, it took at least 5 pricks by 2 pediatric ward nurses and her pediatrician to find a vein suitable for IV even if she wasn't dehydrated nor obese.
It's good they have such equipment. Back in 2003 when I was confined, I had 2 nurses, 3 doctors, and finally 1 anesthesiologist find a vein for my dextrose. So this would have helped before. Take note this was in a high end hospital.
That's something.
