Cannot Kick Off the Distracting Habit

The combination of Competent Performer (CP), Versatile Celebrity (VC), and Notorious Discovery (ND) in a movie was something that was expected to generate excitement. After all, the movie presented a theme that was tackled in a new way. Given the demands of the movie, only a handful could do justice to the roles, especially, as there are physical risks involved in the various scenes.

However, filming of the said project was not without delay. As anyone in movie production knows, any delay in production means loss of money as work expands with time, and the crew will have to be paid the additional days as well. Allegedly, one of the causes of the delay was the disappearance of CP, VC, and ND between takes. The group cited the need to practice, which seemed a legitimate excuse. Nonetheless, they were sometimes missing for long periods such that the production could not move.

To solve the problem, a Production Crew (PC) was assigned to watch over the three, so that the production will know where to find the three when they are needed for the scene. So, PC followed the three, but was careful not to be noticed. As soon as PC saw the three, PC was shocked to see them in a grassy area smoking what seemed to be pot. While this scene might seem shocking, the instance is not at all surprising given that CP and ND seem to have a common view on the substance.

Naturally, PC informed the Head of the Production (HP). Instead of reprimanding the three on the spot, HP told The Manager (TM) of CP later. TM then called CP and admonished him for behaving immaturely. TM stressed that CP was not as young as before and younger, more talented, and good-looking talents could replace him any time. When CP finally returned to the set after missing a few days, the crew was optimistic that there will be no more unnecessary causes of delay.

Unfortunately, the crew was wrong. Again, PC had to monitor the whereabouts of the three. True enough, the trio were found together bonding over their habit. This time, PC was really shocked to see that ND’s hand was on the breast of VC and CP was watching the two. Hence, the break of CP did not really change anything as the three were closer than ever.
