Kudos to Alden! :) Pero yung totoo, for me, hindi pagpapakilig yung aim ng message. It was Alden simply expressing his sincere appreciation towards Maine - yung babaeng nagpabago ng buhay niya.

Kept asking myself when I watch this kanina sa EB kung aktingan pa ba yan o hindi na, but when Alden said the line "siya na ba talaga? Totohanan na ba? Sa hindi ko pagsagot, marami silang paghihinala at panghuhusga" boom! That's when I knew. The poem was for Nicomaine and not for Yaya Dub.

I asked my friend to watch it. Fan din yun ng aldub pero di naman sya yung type who reads more on what is oncam. sabi nya feeling naman nya sincere pareho although syempre kailangan umayon pa rin sa script. tingin nya kay meng, may takot pa daw. ako naman ang iniisip ko sana bago pa man mag-"tapat" ng feelings on air si alden kay nicomaine, kung real na nga eh, may nauna naman munang offcam. nicomaine deserves that kasi sya lang naman talaga ang kailangang maunang makarinig noon eh.
What I saw in Maine in this episode especially when she hugged Alden so tight was a girl so scared of how she feels. It was so intense and overwhelming that she can't put it into words. She doesn't even know what to say until her tears did it for her.

Beautifully written poem by Alden. Heartfelt and spontaneous. How can you even top that? He basically said she could wrap him around her little finger. The ball is on the girl's court now. Alden's poem salvaged the atrocious episodes of kalyeserye recently.

looks like he did. at the middle of the poem, when Maine comforted him when he was holding back tears, he became sorta defensive and told her, sans microphone, 'di naman ako ganito nung magsulat' meaning he wasn't emotional when he wrote it. it's audible if you listen with an earset.

I was reading comments on IG about the 30th Weeksary. One that I was a bit annoyed is how they tell Alden to focus on his career first as love can wait blah blah blah and continue on supporting his family. I find it very selfish. Yes, in filipino culture we all have to help but as far as helping out Adlen's family, he has built a nice home for his family. He sent his brother and sister to college and I believe they both graduated. The dad has a good job. Alden bought most if not all their vehicles. He supports his grandparents medical bills and maintenance. Aren't those more than enough. He put his family first before his. he sacrificed so much? I guess it is about time that he puts himself on top of his list. If ever he is in love with Maine and looks like he is very serious about it, he should not fear and give it a chance. He waited for it for years. He deserves to be happy. I'm sorry but his family are well mobilized people. They should make a living for themselves and be successful. Alden cannot simply support all their needs. One day, he will have a family of his own. If any, he should save for the future.
surreal sakin yun moment na yun lalo pag nakikita ko si tisoy na ganun ang tawa. sobrang happy talaga sya na dumating si maine sa buhay nya. he can say it over and over and be grateful about it pero it touches his heart every time kaya naman he cant help but cry. sobrang pure yun heart nya and obviously was deeply hurt. there was so much pain inside him. i love this guy!
Naiyak ako kanina habang binabasa niya 'to. Lalo na dun sa part na "at sa di ko pagsagot, marami silang paniniwala at panghuhusga. pero let's not forget that in composing a poem, you need to exaggerate para mas feel at may rhyme...paano kung yun lang yung naisip nya na akma sa line na yun?
Grabedad isang anghel..sobrang grateful nya talaga kai Maine and mahal nya ng sobra. I think si Maine is hesitant parin eh ayaw ata nya maniwala na isang alden Richards magmamahal sa kanya.
Oo nga siempre crush lang niya tapos ngayon super inlababo na sa kanya. Kahit nga kasikatan nya di pa rin mag sink in sa kanya. That only shows how simple and grounded this girl is.
Ate wag OA. The emotions are real, pero the walk out was totally scripted. Maine may be an introvert but she's not unprofessional. And besides, bakit naman siya sa lungga pupunta kung totoong walk out un, at I don't think susundan siya ng camera if totoo un.
I think the "walk out" part is reel - Maybe DIVINA got scared because she remembered what happened to Anselmo and Nidora.
But the rest (especially the poem by Alden) were definitely REAL. Even Bossing clapped after he read it.
Kahit sabihin ng iba na promo lang ang style ni Alden ay di ako maniniwala because of 2 reasons. First, during his birthday he said na if magka chance sya na ipagluto si Maine pareho sa niluluto ng Mommy nya noong buhay pa ito ang iluluto nya for Maine. Second, sa sinulat nya na poem nagmention sya na alam ng Diyos ang pinagdaanan nya at nararamdaman. In short, hindi gagamitin ni Alden ang pangalan ng namayapa nyang ina at ang Diyos para magpromo for a show.Kaya tapos ang boxing, tinamaan na sya ni Kupido. Ganoin!
He is a religious guy- di nya gagamitin ang pangalan ng Diyos Kung di totoo sinabi nya. Ilang beses mang lumayo, mag walk out o tumakbo si Maine ipaglaban mo . This is the best time to show her that you will fight all adversaries for her sake. Maine loves you- me mga tao talagang hirap sabihin yung nararamdaman nila.

My dearest boy, I see this was part of Kalyeserye - based on the video alone. The fine line between reel and real is always confusing for people like me. I saw the Lolas but heard Maine referred to as Meng, not Divina or Yaya. My thoughts? Baring your soul on national TV is very brave Junior. Wearing your heart on your sleeve for all to see and possibly judge unfairly. Making yourself very vulnerable, an easy target to all those who are cynical about you and Maine. I commend your courage in pursuing what matters to you in a very romantic way. My boy turned into a man with a purpose before my very eyes. My maternal instinct made me want to wrap my arms around you and protect you from all the hateful bashers. But in the end we all know that that is a small price to pay for something so precious and rare. Focus on what's truly important Junior. Pay no attention to what people may say because they'll take either way. As long as you and Maine know what's really going on, what's real and what's just for show. Maine, you are very lucky to be the recipient of such love and devotion. Junior has all the qualities a lot of mothers wish their son will grow up to be, or for their daughter to end up with. Fan din yun ng aldub pero di naman sya yung type who reads more on what is oncam. sabi nya feeling naman nya sincere pareho although syempre kailangan umayon pa rin sa script. tingin nya kay meng, may takot pa daw. ako naman ang iniisip ko sana bago pa man mag-"tapat" ng feelings on air si alden kay nicomaine, kung real na nga eh, may nauna naman munang offcam. nicomaine deserves that kasi sya lang naman talaga ang kailangang maunang makarinig noon eh.
DeleteWhat I saw in Maine in this episode especially when she hugged Alden so tight was a girl so scared of how she feels. It was so intense and overwhelming that she can't put it into words. She doesn't even know what to say until her tears did it for her.

ReplyDeleteI was reading comments on IG about the 30th Weeksary. One that I was a bit annoyed is how they tell Alden to focus on his career first as love can wait blah blah blah and continue on supporting his family. I find it very selfish. Yes, in filipino culture we all have to help but as far as helping out Adlen's family, he has built a nice home for his family. He sent his brother and sister to college and I believe they both graduated. The dad has a good job. Alden bought most if not all their vehicles. He supports his grandparents medical bills and maintenance. Aren't those more than enough. He put his family first before his. he sacrificed so much? I guess it is about time that he puts himself on top of his list. If ever he is in love with Maine and looks like he is very serious about it, he should not fear and give it a chance. He waited for it for years. He deserves to be happy. I'm sorry but his family are well mobilized people. They should make a living for themselves and be successful. Alden cannot simply support all their needs. One day, he will have a family of his own. If any, he should save for the future.

ReplyDeletesurreal sakin yun moment na yun lalo pag nakikita ko si tisoy na ganun ang tawa. sobrang happy talaga sya na dumating si maine sa buhay nya. he can say it over and over and be grateful about it pero it touches his heart every time kaya naman he cant help but cry. sobrang pure yun heart nya and obviously was deeply hurt. there was so much pain inside him. i love this guy!

First, during his birthday he said na if magka chance sya na ipagluto si Maine pareho sa niluluto ng Mommy nya noong buhay pa ito ang iluluto nya for Maine. Second, sa sinulat nya na poem nagmention sya na alam ng Diyos ang pinagdaanan nya at nararamdaman. In short, hindi gagamitin ni Alden ang pangalan ng namayapa nyang ina at ang Diyos para magpromo for a show.Kaya tapos ang boxing, tinamaan na sya ni Kupido. Ganoin!

DeleteMy dearest boy, I see this was part of Kalyeserye - based on the video alone. The fine line between reel and real is always confusing for people like me. I saw the Lolas but heard Maine referred to as Meng, not Divina or Yaya. My thoughts? Baring your soul on national TV is very brave Junior. Wearing your heart on your sleeve for all to see and possibly judge unfairly. Making yourself very vulnerable, an easy target to all those who are cynical about you and Maine. I commend your courage in pursuing what matters to you in a very romantic way. My boy turned into a man with a purpose before my very eyes. My maternal instinct made me want to wrap my arms around you and protect you from all the hateful bashers. But in the end we all know that that is a small price to pay for something so precious and rare. Focus on what's truly important Junior. Pay no attention to what people may say because they'll take either way. As long as you and Maine know what's really going on, what's real and what's just for show. Maine, you are very lucky to be the recipient of such love and devotion. Junior has all the qualities a lot of mothers wish their son will grow up to be, or for their daughter to end up with. ReplyDeleteTBH, I got confused also. Not sure if it was REAL or REEL anymore myself even when I saw the replay. Maine's eyes are so expressive and her rawness are blurring the lines. Great acting or she herself is confused and it's showing? Who knows? Lol....love u Meng!
