I thought I was the only one who noticed na while Ms Philippines and Colombia were waiting for the winner to be announced naka holding hands pa sila na mangiyak ngiyak na si Colombia like she knows for a fact she will win. May pagka arrogant talaga yung dating niya... In fairness at least nakita yung totoo niyang kulay. And Ms Germany got some shade for being shady herself! ReplyDeleteAng sabi ni Miss Germany they (the contestants) all voted for Colombia. Kasi nga sa final round a 6th judge was added and that was the participants's vote.
Delete6 judges all in all. Ung apat na panel, other contestants (counted as one vote) and ung online. Panel all in favor of Pia. And of course satin ang online. So kahit pa walang bumoto kay Pia sa ibang mga contestants, pnalo parin sya! 😁

First runner up so Colombia, ke nagkamali yung host o hindi, first runner up lang talaga si Colombia kaya hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit kung maka arte sila ay parang sila pa yung nanakawan. True na nakakalungkot kasi for a moment there kala nya, sya yung nanalo. Pero kung tutuusin, si Pia ang nanakawan, nanakawan ng moment. Pia and us na 42 years hinintay ang moment na ito.

i really think that the controversy was staged as part of marketing. And it is very effective. Under new management ang Miss U at binubuhay nilang muli ang sigla at popularidad. kawawa nga lang ang 3 (Steve, Philippines at Colombia)
Bakit ganun most of the non- pinoys I know are siding with Miss Colombia. Pia is the antagonist here, they think.

But it was during the worst moment that I saw the real Pia...she was really classy and humble...talk about grace under pressure. Now I am thinking that all that arrogant confidence was just a put on, sort of owning the crown before she gets it. Bravo Pia!!! You make us all proud!
