    1. Catholic ba itong si Lea? Hindi lang nainvite rebellious agad?! Or Born Again Hypocritical "Christian"?

    2. Dati pa ang stance niya. She is Catholic alright.

  2. Honestly in my own brilliang mind and shakesperian point of view when you love someone you cannot choose to love. Once the heart beats it beats.. Once the heart decide to love someone you will not care if he is ugly or pretty, white or black, rude or nice, smart or stupid, and man or woman.. Its just happen.. Thats how love is, ita magical, it moves in msyterious ways..

    1. No need. It is already established! It justs operates behind the curtains. And their front is really deceiving!

    2. Same sex marriage does not need a religion.

      Delete
    3. You don't need to have a religion to be open-minded.

      Delete
  4. Pro marriage in church? with that view no wonder Lea wasn't invited to sing for the Pope.

    1. She wouldn't care. The world does not revolve around the Pope.

      Delete
    2. 1.24 actually millions if not billions listen to what the Pope has to say unlike you and Lea.

      Delete
    3. Anon 2:32 so what? Does that include all the people in this world? Face it madami din opposed/neutral sa pope & christianity. Those 1.24 million, more than half are from 3rd world countries, that's the truth. Look at progressive countries like US, Northern Europe, the pope is not a big deal to them. Not everyone wants to kiss up to the pope. Add to that she has different beliefs so malamang di sya maiinvite and she probably doesn't care like half the people in the world.

      Delete
    4. Aon 2:32 so what? Just because millions listen to the pope, it won't change Lea's beliefs. If she doesn't care then those numbers wouldn't matter.

    5. And the world does not revolve around TITA lea. Unfortunately, wala sya nun.

      Delete
    6. Yes. She may be a tony awardee, she may be the voice of aladdin or whoever, she may have performed together with known veteran singers performers in the whole world, your name maybe as big as how big you view it BUT without humility- you are nothing but this tiny dot . in the eyes of the holy father.

  5. Ungodly answer indeed! It's more of selfish rights, neglecting the summon of God. Our life is not ours, it's a gift from God! That's why we have no absolute right on our body.

    1. kaya nga gift dba? kapag niregaluhan ba kita ng iphone 6+ tapos pinakialaman ko, kinalkal ko ung messages mo at nag unliselfie..di ka ba in a way maooffend or something? God loves us so much that He gave us our own free will, to choose what we want. pero shempre we have to value what was given to us and use it responsibly.

      Delete
    2. That is why we were given freewill. Nasa atin na yan if we want to abuse this gift of free will or not. You talk as if gay marriage is the only sin. Pls there are worst things in society like adultery, corruption, rape, young people getting pregnant early, alcoholism...you sound like such a blind, hypocritical, religious fool.

      Delete
    3. Ano 3:18 - How do you value yourself?

      Delete
    4. 3 18 just prepare for the consequences, hindi porket may grace ang Diyos te-take for granted na natin.

      Delete
    5. at 3:18am it's not the same as material gift you think. unless you consider yourself as material w/o a soul! just as our life is from Him, he could take it as He wish. kaya be thankful you existed and follow His teachings and live a fruitful life, not a deviating life from the the teachings He prescribes! mas alam nya ang tama, kesa sa atin who's a mere dust in this world.

  6. I support it too.

Like iyong sa taxes and everything.

      Delete
  7. gusto umami ng likes si lea lol

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I don't think it's about the religion.

  9. Same sex marriage here in the Philippines is not legally binding and from the the looks of influence of the Catholic Church, never will. So the same sex marriage of Filipinos here or abroad, like Aiza and Liza, etc. are all just for a show. Iyon lang iyon. Show

    ReplyDelete

    1. Binding yung kay Aiza and Liza sa US since Liza is a US citizen.

    2. Yes. And that's why it's best to leave the country and go to a country that has a first world mentality.

    1. Actually the pope was taken out of context sa statement nya. May clarification na diyan ang Vatican. Often misquote yan.

      Delete
  11. Kahit legally binding man lang sana for LGBTs. They pay the same taxes naman.. why not have the same rights.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Talk to the lawmakers about your taxes not the Pope

      Delete
    2. 2:54 is right. Marriage is more about Law than religion. So ask the lawmakers on same sex marriage than the pope.

      Delete
Equal rights under the law. Yun lang yon.

      Delete
    4. Anon 2:10 - Exactly.

Anon 2:54 - Well, he/she is not addressing you pope, apparently. He/she's just merely expressing his/her opinion. What are you talking about?

    1. Pano naging papansin? She was asked a question and she simple answered.

    2. You sound like a bitter individual. She was asked, so sinagot nya in an honest way. She doesn't care kahit may mga uber sensitive and ignorant people like you na ma butthurt. Mas papansin yung mga nagbait baitan kuno nung andito pa yung pope at nakisabay sa pope hysteria and hype tas di mapanindigan after.

  13. u can marry whoever you want to marry, even of the same sex..but not here in the Phils. kaya dun na lang sa kung saan pwede. ganun lang un kasimple.

    1. Yes. Leave and go to a country that has no backward mentality.

  14. ok lea, whatever...

He is only a representative of god on earth not god himself, he cannot change god's commandments to suit LGBT community.

    ReplyDelete

    1. She never said the pope should legalize gay marriage. She just said she believes in it. Maybe she wants a seperation of church and state like america & some european countries.

      Delete
    2. It's not about your pope changing your God's so-called commandments to suit the LGBT community. It's about the LGBT community having the same rights as that of mga straight couples. Katulad ng sa tax.

  18. Op cors. Ms. Lea is a progressive, modern individual. Walang kaartehan at di siya conservative. So there!

  19. Dati gusto ko itong si Lea. Kaka-turn off na lately.

    1. I still like her but not the way I liked her before. I appreciate that she replies to tweets kahit na sa personal snob talaga siya. Kaya lang lately parang sumobra ata. Minsan, pati walang kwentang bashers sinasagot niya pde namang block agad.

  21. Tip lang sa LGBT community. Please know first kung bakit supportado kayo ng isang tao bago kayo maging proud sa tao na iyon. Anyone can say na "I support same sex marriage" pero hanggan doon lang ang support nila. Have they tried using their fame to influence the Philippine government to change its laws? Last time I checked hanggang LIP SERVICE lang si Tita Leah. If you really want equal rights, demand the government to give it to you by having peaceful rallies or asking your representative sa government to change the law. Go to the supreme court kung kinakailangan to get the equal rights that you deserve.

    2. Anon 6:12. History is your friend. If not, please mag google ka muna and learn something from history then re read your post para alam mo kung ano ang magiging response ko sa iyo. Not knowing your past will make you repeat them. And please, don't show your third world mentality. Itago mo nalang kasi nakakahiya.

  22. To each his own, kaya lang di ko ma-gets bakit napaka-vocal niya about this thing when she herself married her opposite sex. It's normal to support but what's with the conviction?
