Its not like its repetitive, its called coherence. Ganyan ang art exhibition, much like a fashion show, my flow. Hindi random. She's going through a symbolist phase. Very Gustav Klimt. That's why I think her art lacks orginality.
Series, not really. Some artist have a trade mark style but they give variety. Heart's paintings are all repetitive cause her hands are telling a story. You see, she always paints a woman who's in distress. The background of a woman is always geometric patterns that are not coordinated with each other. Meaning, the woman has a lot of issues going on with her life. The colors palette overshadows the subject of the painting would mean her problems or insecurities are always ahead of her. In short, it gets her most of the time. Try to consult an art expert regarding her paintings si you'd realize that her paintings MAY BE A REFLECTION of the artist.

Just wondering how can she paint so fast i mean yung mga real artists talagang it takes time before makapag-exhibit pro si heart naka 2 exhibit last year tapos meron na naman. On the spot painting kaya gawin nya para maniwala na ko talaga
Ang bilis sa pag paint depende sa mood nang tao. May kilala akong na depress, sa painting ang naging outlet nya. 5 artworks in a month. Pero meron din akong kilala na it took him 1 month to complete an art piece.
Because paulit-ulit lang naman ang paintings niya. Hindi niya kailangan ng "bagong" inspiration kasi halos kinokopya niya lang ung previous painting niya - maybe iibahin niya lang ng direction ung face & use other color palatte. Kahit ang viewer, hindi na kailangan ng imagination. Actually, kahit clean canvass pa lang ang pino-post niya, alam na ang kalalabasan. Nothing new.

This arcade area is so so and hardly visited by the crowd. I work in an elite gallery in Singapore. Most locals invest in artworks done with famous artists not the wannabe. Singapore pa lang exhibit world class kagad? Pinas at Singapore lang ba ang mga bansa sa world? not to burst her bubble, hindi thought provoking ang art nya, pang display display lang sa living room or even sa bathroom for the sake na magkaron ng art sa isang room but definitely not for art collection
I wonder how much her painting sells for, ang ganda nung mga nasa past exhibits niya, the Ayala's where even present. Let's be happy for her, she deserves it. Admit na lang na hindi kasi talaga siya pangmasa.
Funny how she claims she's "world class". Girl, if not for your connections, you will not attain any of these. You are a mediocre painter. There are a lot of legit painters who has no connections that are put to waste here in the Philippines. Sad.
I'm not a fan of heart, never been kasi I find her too pacute sometimes, pero bakit kaya ganito ang mga Pilipino, mashadong bitter. It's great na she has an exhibit in another country, no need to bash her. It's okay to not be proud of her, but there's no need to say hateful words either.

ReplyDeleteThis arcade area is so so and hardly visited by the crowd. I work in an elite gallery in Singapore. Most locals invest in artworks done with famous artists not the wannabe. If she join Signature Art Prize at maging isa sya sa finalist or ma feature man lang ang artworks nya sa Singapore Art Museum baka sakaling ma impress ako LOL #JustSayin

Pinas at Singapore lang ba ang mga bansa sa world? not to burst her bubble, hindi thought provoking ang art nya, pang display display lang sa living room or even sa bathroom for the sake na magkaron ng art sa isang room but definitely not for art collection

ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of heart, never been kasi I find her too pacute sometimes, pero bakit kaya ganito ang mga Pilipino, mashadong bitter. It's great na she has an exhibit in another country, no need to bash her. It's okay to not be proud of her, but there's no need to say hateful words either.
