Wedding cake is from Goldilocks, one of the groom's endorsements. You think the company will make him pay for the cake? The couple may have shouldered some of the expenses but to say that they did everything would be a lie. Come on.

I've read it clearly my dear. I know Dong has the moolah but it's impossible that no single sponsor is involved. Even a friend shouldering "something" is considered sponsorship, e.g. Ana Feleo, one the bridesmaid, hired/paid the well-known violinist and conductor of symphony of strings to play for the wedding march as a gift to the couple. And like i said there's nothing wrong with sponsorship because it's more practical. Get it?

I may not have a document to show but from what I heard from wedding suppliers, Nice Print pays the celebrities so they would book them. It's their marketing strategy so many people would get their services. That's what they call x-deal. They give fine services for free in exchange of unbelievable promotions. Pero pag common people lang, outsourced team ang gumagawa. Ganon ang NicePrint. Good thing this wedding got Mayad's services for the SDE at least maganda kinalabasan.
Going back to the issue, I believe rin na merong ginastos ang GMA dyan kahit konti. Trabaho lang. Pero Dingdong can afford and will definitely do it.
NicePrint ang issue ko dito hindi si Dingdong actually. I loved the wedding and I super adore Marian. She is so beautiful and sobrang nakakatuwa sya. I also believe that Dong can afford every centavo na ginastos. Wala ni isa ang may right to question that dahil pera at buhay nila yun. Ang sinasabi ko lang, NicePrint actually pushed themselves to cover for the whole event from proposal to all bridal showers, even lunch with sponsors. Ganon tumirada ang NicePrint - for free.
Please be reminded that the groom is a Commissioner-at-Large for the National Youth Commission, under the office of the president (hope I got this one right), he is actually covered by the civil service code.

The wedding was indeed beautiful and extravagant pero wala din naman masama aminin na wala sila ginastos dyan. Kahit GMA7 bayad sila.
Second the motion to that NicePrint thing. Ganyan sila. I have a friend na sila ang kinuha kasi nga naengganyo gawa ng panay artista pero pg normal na tao lang eh kung sino sinong mga outsourced team ang pinapagawa. Ganyan sila talaga.

To end all speculation and wrong assumptions, i will set the record straight.
Dingdong paid for the wedding. And it was not a cheap wedding.
While some sponsors were graciously accepted, most were politely declined. The amount of sponsorship / xdeal is not even 5% of the total wedding cost paid by the groom. Given that, one can say that yes indeed "they paid for their wedding".
To answer one post above, Hennessy is not part of our mix. We didnt even serve that brand.
Goldilocks is a brand being endorsed by Dingdong, so the wedding cake was really a gift from Goldilocks.
There were suppliers that were taken out in certain areas days before the wedding. Suppliers that went onboard at the last minute were likewise paid in full.
While we are thankful to those who were very generous with their products and services, i still feel it is unfair that the couple is being bashed this way for something so beautiful, and most importantly, something they worked so hard for. Dingdong had the purest intention of giving Marian the best wedding she deserves.
To those with very strong opinion/s re the matter, you may start by posting your name beside your two cents. Its very hard to trust the words of brave people hiding behind the anonymous monicker.
I am and will always be the most reliable source of information about this wedding.

FYI- they got engaged 2 years ago pa remember. Within that 2 years, im sure Dingdong had enough time to save for the wedding. I love their wedding di ako naka work kaka bantay sa IG ng updates hahaha. I salute them na kasal muna bago mag baby ... sila ang mga dapat tularan.

Even a friend shouldering "something" is considered sponsorship, e.g. Ana Feleo, one the bridesmaid, hired/paid the well-known violinist and conductor of symphony of strings to play for the wedding march as a gift to the couple. And like i said there's nothing wrong with sponsorship because it's more practical. Get it?

ReplyDeleteI may not have a document to show but from what I heard from wedding suppliers, Nice Print pays the celebrities so they would book them. It's their marketing strategy so many people would get their services. That's what they call x-deal. They give fine services for free in exchange of unbelievable promotions. Pero pag common people lang, outsourced team ang gumagawa. Ganon ang NicePrint. Good thing this wedding got Mayad's services for the SDE at least maganda kinalabasan.

I also believe that Dong can afford every centavo na ginastos. Wala ni isa ang may right to question that dahil pera at buhay nila yun. Ang sinasabi ko lang, NicePrint actually pushed themselves to cover for the whole event from proposal to all bridal showers, even lunch with sponsors. Ganon tumirada ang NicePrint - for free.

And it was not a cheap wedding.
While some sponsors were graciously accepted, most were politely declined. The amount of sponsorship / xdeal is not even 5% of the total wedding cost paid by the groom. Given that, one can say that yes indeed "they paid for their wedding".
To answer one post above, Hennessy is not part of our mix. We didnt even serve that brand.
Goldilocks is a brand being endorsed by Dingdong, so the wedding cake was really a gift from Goldilocks.
There were suppliers that were taken out in certain areas days before the wedding. Suppliers that went onboard at the last minute were likewise paid in full.
While we are thankful to those who were very generous with their products and services, i still feel it is unfair that the couple is being bashed this way for something so beautiful, and most importantly, something they worked so hard for. Dingdong had the purest intention of giving Marian the best wedding she deserves.
To those with very strong opinion/s re the matter, you may start by posting your name beside your two cents. Its very hard to trust the words of brave people hiding behind the anonymous monicker.
I am and will always be the most reliable source of information about this wedding.
