I agree 12:50! baka naman ganun talaga marketing strategy nung producers ng movie. sa ibang bansa kase, baka click sa kanila yung movie kung may local actor. dito pala sa Philippines, inaayawan yung local actor. pero gusto ko din marinig si Ben Whishaw. crush ko sya dati sa Cloud Atlas. :)
Why not? Xian lived in the US keri nya ang English. Pero para sa akin kung ang reason ng special dubbing na yan for Philippine release lang, feeling ko insulto yan sa akin. Bakeeeeet, di ko ba keri ma comprehend at mababa ba ang listening comprehension ko? Sabihin nyo na para sa mga bata, anuveeeeh, sanay yang mga yan sa cartoons.

Marketing strategy po ito, kasi dito sa PH hindi popular si Paddington Bear. Check ko sa Rotten Tomatoes- 97% Fresh ang score ng film, pang Oscars or Bafta yata ang ito kasi love ng critics..... tapos sa UK showing na natalo nito ang Mockingjay sa box-office, wow!!!
Guys do your research, the films producers told a lot of different countries they could dub their own local voices into the movie, including France and Philippines. The film doesn't "feature" Xian Lim, his voice will only be heard here in Manila. The movie with Ben Winshaws voice was released in the UK back in November of 2014. It's funny seeing how the local media is making such a big deal out of this. They needed a local voice to dub English over an already English speaking movie because Filippino's are too stupid to understand British accents. Way to go Manila media, celebrating the countries stupidity for decades.
