The Crumbled Marriage

Although her wedding to an international businessman (IB) was kept private, celebrity followers were not at all surprised that astonishing heiress (AH) would marry well. After all, AH comes from a powerful political and social family that has strong connections, and she has kept a low profile despite this background. IB was also a most sought after bachelor then, and thus, AH was assured of the same quality of life she has been living all her life. After her marriage, AH relocated to live a tranquil life with IB abroad.

Recently, AH seems to be more visible in the local scene than before. Her name has dropped the surname of IB as well. While this tagging was common, people wondered what happened as to why AH’s last name was no longer hyphenated.

Sadly, a rumor is going around that the marriage is over. Allegedly, AH had an affair with someone of a lesser stature (LS) than IB. LS had a girlfriend, and yet AH opted to be blind to this fact and that she has a husband and a child. Thus, when their affair was discovered, IB left AH, bringing along their child and not leaving AH with enough finances. In the end, LS and AH parted ways as well, which left AH without a husband and a lover. These circumstances explain why AH seems to be coming home more often and making herself more visible in the social scene.

Was risking her family for an illicit affair worth it? The question will always be why AH committed such an act. Will IB find it in his heart to forgive AH’s indiscretion? However, if both are already unhappy with each other, then reconciliation will not happen soon.
