I feel bad for Dale and his family. He was feeling so alone. I kinda feel like if your loved one would text stressful messages, sana andun sya kasama palagi. he displayed depression, there were rumors that it was a love issue why Dale took his own life. The messages, I dunno why it was published was probably in defense of the BF.
"Love kills" pa rin. KULANG yan. Why not show text messages exchanged on the WEEK of the suicide. Most probably a WEEK EARLIER yan mga messages na yan, eh. Kaya abot pa ng Saturday. Dale died July 4th, Friday.
I just find it weird that when i google news regarding dale's death, links sho an error message or that article has been removed. Im wondering. Just puzzling considering that links are from legit news sites

He is evidenty depressed, but no one was able to recognize it. Mahirap naman talaga. I knew him from highschool. Cousin din ng friend ko. All around nice guy. Such a waste.
Tingin ko may foul play. One, he had all the good reasons to want to live such as: his promotion which he was so excited about; he had a good relationship with his partner and they loved each other. Two, there was no suicide note. For somebody who is intelligent, very organized, reliable, patient and rational he would not opt to just leave this world without leaving a note of goodbye and explaining why he had to do what he did. Tingin nyo ba out of the blue maisip nya tumalon na lang ng ganun-ganun? If he had planned this before then there should be a suicide note. kawawa naman sya. sino man ang gumawa ito sa kanya makarma din sya balang araw.
Ang taong kulang sa tulog at di na kumakain eh iba tumatakbo na sa utak. I don't think plinano nya to. Nag snap sya kaya nya nagawa yun. Basta may nangyari at napuno na sya..
teh anon 7:51 may signs and symptoms po ang mga taong suicidal. Basa ka po psyche books wag puro haka haka.
Anon 9:11 it could be na may ibang taong nakakaalam ng password niya sa IG or FB or twitter and can posts those things. Think out of the box wag tumingin sa kung ano lang ang nakikita ng mata mo.
I think may letter siya for Jake. Jake posted sa IG and Tumblr:

the only thing is yung LOVE CAN KILL na message. kawawa naman yung BF na naiwan, aside form an emotional turmoil beacuse of losing someone you love eh he has to deal pa with allegations that he cheated .haist , grabe minsan di mo rin talaga ma distinguish ang mga suicidal na tao
malaki factor din stress sa work dito. marami ka nga role, bilib sayo company pero pinapagod ka naman ng husto e wala rin, nasan ang work life balance. the man needed a break; given na may personal issues pa siguro sya na contribute sa suicide nya. sa case na ito company G e need ireview well being ng mga top employees. sayang siya!

Got curious, I peeked on his ig.. He has so many friends, some big wigs pa in the industry. He goes and travel, has a ten year relationship. If you only based it from there youd say na he is living the life!! Its just so sad na despite all of it, he is lonely. I dont even have half of what he got, and I get lonely too (all of us do) but never have i thought of saying goodbye like that.. Hayyyy sayang

It would be too straight-forward and it might make some issues with the company kung sinabi nya na "work kills" and knowing that he's a well respected personality in social media, pwedeng magbacklash yun hindi lang sa kanya pati sa friends and family nya.

This just says it all. It WAS the work stress that got to him. I don't know why certain people from G are trying to cover it up as something else. Feeling guilty siguro and trying to protect their personal/ professional image. Well what's done is done. They are not directly to blame for the act of suicide but they also have no right to censor people/ information -- media is free for all to consume. And the truth will always, always come out anyway. Where there's smoke, there's fire, diba. It was good of Jake to release this as proof that they didn't fight and that Dale was really giving up because of work stress.
Yes he's stressed but he loves his work and its obvious sa effort na binibigay niya. He's passionate about his career, friends of him can attest to that. I dont buy it for a minute na stress from work caused him to end it. Probably a factor? But something deeper than that definitely.

According to J in an interview (search online, guys.), he tried to resign (daw) but G didn't let him. They pleaded him to stay and offered him another position.
Yeah I read that. IMHO, if Im truly stressed out from work, to the point of killing myself, I would not accept the job offer and be firm with my resignation. nothing can stop me if i want OUT, even money or a new designation.
Fyi he did try to resign but his boss persuadedhim to shift roles lang. But wala pang kapalit so nagdouble hat sya. Lalo lang lumala. He felt trapped after that.
To those who say nah he wouldnt take his life.. well guess what he did. Cant read a person fully you know. Rich man famous man,living the life doesnt mean youre happy.

You can't say that. Lahat tayo may limits. And it seems na di na sya kumakain at super stressed na sya, you'll never know. Kahit gaano sya ka-happy in the outside, walang makakapagsabi what he's really feeling.
This may sound harsh but it is irrelevant whether it was love problems or work stress which pushed him over the edge. At the end of the day, every suicide is a decision made by the person himself. There is no room for censure or finger-pointing here.
I remember during college, one time I ate lunch with Dale and I observed that he cannot even finish the half rice that was served to him. akala ko nag diet sya pero di pala. later he admitted having some eating disorder. this is not private naman since he mentioned this na in his livejournal account.
So you'd rather kill yourself than face your monthly dues? I still don't buy the work related suicide. I'm sure he can replace his job easily with his credentials. And judging from friend testimonials, may ipon naman siguro sya enough to pay whatever bills he have "in case di sya magwork agad ulit".

why there's a news blackout? simple, he is working in a telcom company affliated sa rela estate company that have 2 bombing incidents (makati mall & taguig condo) which have the same news blackout treatment na hinde napagusapan masyado regardless of the casualties and until now walang malinaw na dahilan or doubtful ang findings.
hinde rin natin dapat minamaliit ang work related reason kung bakit siya nagsuicide kaagad kasi in the first place we have our own battles in life, besides to what was indicated on the screenshots and the hearsays there are other angles na hinde natin alam which is also one of the reasons. You'll never understand what the person is going through unless andun ka din sa same situation na he/she is experiencing.

Super stress sa G and the pay aint too good either.. sa S nalang kayo mas ok daw.

ReplyDeletewhy there's a news blackout? simple, he is working in a telcom company affliated sa rela estate company that have 2 bombing incidents (makati mall & taguig condo) which have the same news blackout treatment na hinde napagusapan masyado regardless of the casualties and until now walang malinaw na dahilan or doubtful ang findings.
ReplyDeletehinde rin natin dapat minamaliit ang work related reason kung bakit siya nagsuicide kaagad kasi in the first place we have our own battles in life, besides to what was indicated on the screenshots and the hearsays there are other angles na hinde natin alam which is also one of the reasons. You'll never understand what the person is going through unless andun ka din sa same situation na he/she is experiencing.
