You guys are so quick to judge! No wonder why our economy is getting even worse. I'm a fan of Iya. I have spent couples of time with her and I can HONESTLY say that she's genuine inside and out! She just lives a simple private life. In her sister's case, a caption is never enough to determine a person's attitude. She was raised in a different country with a different culture. Siguro naman we can't blame her if she has adapted an attitude we're not used to see. She grew up being like that to Iya. If you could only go through her ig's pics, you would somehow know how she is as a sister to Iya.
There's this one picture of Iya on Sheila's account where the caption was something like "not bad for a full blooded Filipino". That's racist, and goes to show how she thinks that being Filipino is below the other races she interacts with in Australia. She probably doesn't identify herself as a Filipino.
Nobody is questioning how she is as a sister or what kind of relationship she has with Iya, the fact of the matter is, her ig post was unneccessary and uncalled for especially if it was at the expense of the man who just became her sister's husband. I've had the pleasure of knowing some Aussies and they are the most straightforward lot you'll ever meet but they are never RUDE. I always thought there were different meanings between those two words. With that said, I sincerely apologize on behalf of all Filipinos, if we, as a nation, value family over being forthright and candid thus affecting our country's economy.

ReplyDeleteYou guys are so quick to judge! No wonder why our economy is getting even worse. I'm a fan of Iya. I have spent couples of time with her and I can HONESTLY say that she's genuine inside and out! She just lives a simple private life. In her sister's case, a caption is never enough to determine a person's attitude. She was raised in a different country with a different culture. Siguro naman we can't blame her if she has adapted an attitude we're not used to see. She grew up being like that to Iya. If you could only go through her ig's pics, you would somehow know how she is as a sister to Iya.

DeleteThere's this one picture of Iya on Sheila's account where the caption was something like "not bad for a full blooded Filipino". That's racist, and goes to show how she thinks that being Filipino is below the other races she interacts with in Australia. She probably doesn't identify herself as a Filipino.
DeleteNobody is questioning how she is as a sister or what kind of relationship she has with Iya, the fact of the matter is, her ig post was unneccessary and uncalled for especially if it was at the expense of the man who just became her sister's husband. I've had the pleasure of knowing some Aussies and they are the most straightforward lot you'll ever meet but they are never RUDE. I always thought there were different meanings between those two words. With that said, I sincerely apologize on behalf of all Filipinos, if we, as a nation, value family over being forthright and candid thus affecting our country's economy.

ReplyDeleteI saw her IG. She seems so insecure with Iya kasi celeb si Iya at lahat ng luxury na kay Iya pkus mas maganda si Iya sa kanilang magkakapatid. Mayabang magsalita talaga itong sis ni Iya porket inglisera sya at Australian kuno dahil doon sila lumaki. Sibling rivalry definitely.
