Going Under the Knife Made the Cut

Admit it or not, all things being equal, it is always the beautiful one who takes the cake. It is for this reason why most of us are conscious about how we look and strive hard to look our best.

Among all sectors of society, it is in entertainment where beauty is top consideration. Showbiz is all about looking good, so they say. Talent comes second. You are very lucky if you are blessed with both. Celebrities put so much premium on looking good because their careers depend on it – one of the reasons why beauty enhancement clinics have mushroomed for decades now.

Those who aspire to join showbiz know this only too well. Candidates for reality shows are no exception. Apart from talent, they know that being beautiful means victory half-won.

One of the Winners OW of a hit reality contest allegedly hates at being compared all the time with a Popular Comedienne PC, noting that PC is supposedly beauty-challenged. OW reportedly feels so insulted at the comparison, yet observers and followers quip OW and PC really look similar, like long-lost sisters.

To finally put an end to what she perceived as insult, OW reportedly went under the knife to have some enhancements done on some parts of her face. The surgery was allegedly a success that made OW extremely happy. Not content with that, every time she has shows or events, OW also has specific instructions to the make-up artist to paint her face differently to veer away from looking like OW.

Who was it who said that everything has beauty but not everyone sees it?
