    4. Publicity na Ito for the teleserye! Baka paid reverse promo Lang Ito e!

The main reason why I stopped watching local tv shows except for news dahil halos lahat ng channels pare pareho ng theme. You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us. The reason why successful ang industriyang ito ay dahil passionate kami about it. Ginagawa nyo kaming mga bobo kayo.

    10. i dont think that CCAs reacted dun sa line na "Hindi ako nag-aaral para sumagot lang ng telepono!".. but instead dun sa line na "pang walang pinag-aralan lang yan.".,

& I never knew that thered been a call center company na nagpapasahod ng 6K lang.. thats pathetic.. thats only equivalent for the subsidies..

well, that kinda insulting really.. khit cguro meron mgsabi na "hindi ako nag-aral para magsulat lang ng kwento.. pang walang pinag-aralan lng yan",, im sure tataas din ang kilay ng mga writers..

    1. OA talga mag reak yung iba. yung most of the people na naooffend jan either mga papansin lang, or yung mga nakapag tapos yet sa CC bumagsak. im a call center agent for 5 years na din, though mas mataas naman ung salary ko kumpara sa sinabi ni rafael sa teleserye nya. para sakin honestly, kung nakapag tapos ako ng 4-yr-course, im sure hindi ko ssayangin yung tinapos ko para maging call center agent. but im happy and contented sa work ko as a call center agent and sa salary ko kasi alam kong mas malaki yung sweldo ko kesa sa ibang tapos ng 4 years at nagwowork sa office. ;)

      Delete

      Delete
  3. Patawa naman kasi yung mga nag over-react. It's fiction people! Don't be so defensive and sensitive.

    2. Puyat e... Kaya sensitive pag pasensyahan mo na :)

      Delete
    3. Why should she apologize? She was just doing her job as a writer.
If everyone had to apologize everytime someone was offended, then nothing would get done. If people watch this show, then the cc agents have no one but themselves to blame. They made such a big thing out of nothing. Lol.

    4. U could say just apologize kasi may nasaktan kang damdamin but for what? For a fictitious character merely delivering a dialogue? Funny

    10. True and you have a point.
In other countries (i.e. US, SG, HK), such themes and dialogues are sensitive and will cause an outrage to MINOR societies.
Sure, they can file a lawsuit in the court.

However, NOTHING CAME OUT OF IT.
Only a very few cases where lawsuits and such win against these matters as it is only minor, does not really degrade any other minorities and is NOT an impediment to society.

Government and Civil courts usually throw these cases down or would simply charge it as minor misfit.

      TRY MONG I-AIR SA US!

  9. Ang OA naman kasi nung iba diyan. Ang tanong napanood niyo ba yung buong episode? Alam niyo ba yung buong complete discussion nung mga characters? Baka naman the scene calls for it. People these days always find fault at everything. Isip isip din kasi pag may time. May nagreklamo ba? Or yung mga doctor at mga nurse na lagi na lang naiisahan ng mga kontrabida sa mga teleserye (thus making them look gullible and s$#pid) may nagrereklamo ba? It's a fictional world people. 1. I am not from both sides, but I think OA din talaga yung reaction from you/your sector. What the story says is true. I heard it from some people and they share the sentiments. "Yuck, ayoko nga mag call center! Ano ako bobo?" And I even heard from people working at BPO say "trabaho ko pang-bobo". So dapat magalit din kayo sa kapwa nyo call center agents because they say it out loud? I am thinking you are in middle or top management to not know these sentiments from your employees that's why you are saying that and you feel hurt. Sa totoo lang sa HK if you are there with a working Visa, they will think DH ka. Nag aklas at nag react ba sila tulad nyo? Please don't use "the big sector" card because everybody knows that already and don't try to bully a program or anybody nang dahil nalait yung career nyo. Under your breath or saying it with close peers, you say "caregiver?? Yaya??" Or "ahente ng lupa o insurance? May kinikita ba yung mga yun?" And don't say you don't know that because I already interviewed countless people from your sector with that same career degrading reaction. Nagalitdba sila? Gets mo? Puro bata kasi ata kayo that's why sensitive or "new moneyed" kaya may angas. Just my sentiments.. peace out!

Social responsibility is placed on those who are seen or heard. By dismissing it as "character development" you are helping perpetuate the lowbrow image that people have placed with regards to call center agents. The best thing that you could do is to ignore this serye.

I have heard many parents say to their children: "Walang pera sa pagtuturo! Hindi ka yayaman dyan!" Or in extreme cases, "Ano ba alam mong gawin? Yes, this is reality. Not from a TV show. Don't make too much out of two lines from a dialogue that was probably taken out of context. There might be something behind those lines that will develop into a relevant point.

It wasn't said just to offend or degrade people but as a result of the character's situation. Why would u even compare these two different things? If u wanted to get your point across, sana yung talaga naman makokompare sa isa't isa diba.

To you d*** a** Karen. A few things.

First, check your verb tenses. Writer ka di ba?

Second. Sick.

Third. Isipin nyo ang medium ng show nyo. TV.

Last. Research you say? Anong klase? Mag-Google? Mag-Wiki?

Not to mention ang pangalan mo.

      Tsk. tsk. tsk.

The dialogue in question here was spoken by a FICTIONAL character, who may have been playing a deliberately 'matapobre' role (and thus provides the context for her prejudiced sentiment), while Mel Gibson's anti-Semitic rants and that certain US Senator's racist joke were made by both of them in their personal capacities.

As for Vice Ganda - who's about as funny as a burning school bus - well, it's all a matter of taste. Google na lang ng foreign comedians who crack jokes about incest, rape, domestic violence, abortion and other taboo topics as part of their stand up routine. Their gag isn't for everyone, but that doesn't necessarily make what they do wrong or bad.

Some even with flying colors. It is not right to degrade our industry more, when we feel inferior because of the negative notion given to the industry. Not everyone can be hired that easily and its a game of survival, once you're in. Everyone has their own story why, even though we graduated for a certain course, we end up being in these industry. Right! more on monetary gains, but still at the end of the day, we're doing it for our families. And its really hurting that our efforts for our everyday work gets deprived of proper acknowledgement and appreciation. Work is work, and an insult is an insult. Constructive criticism is far different from what the dialogue has been. The dialogue was merely a statement of disgust. There is no gain that we can get from it. Constructive criticism aims for a better outcome.

to say that were overreacting, balat sibuyas and masyadong mataas ang tingin sa sarili, is quite blood boiling (sic) to say the the least, bec the writer, with all his intentions to evoke reality and emotions on that scene, he/she/it made it look like our industry is a fallback for some losers/professionals who cannot do anything with their career.......lets all admit it, thats the message hes trying to deliver, or shall i say thats the msg he/she/it wanted the character to deliver.....even if its for the sake that scene alone, no matter how endless you say its just a scene from a fictitious z rated movie, at the end of the the day, its being watched by thousands...or say millions..including teens whohas been daydreaming, students aspiring for something and all the other who might be considering career shifting....
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY guys...be responsible enough to know the impact of the message you're trying to deliver to the masses.

O sige, granted alam naman nilang totoo yun so baka maling example. 55. I've been with the BPO from 2000 to 2012. Here's why. 2000 to 2005, call center agents strictly have to be college graduates of a 4-year course. After 2005, that was the time that they started hiring college level applicants because of the high demand for manpower. Today, kahit highschool graduates, pwede na. So working in a call center nowadays is not really a professional fulfillment kasi kahit hindi ka makatapos ng pag aaral, makakapasok ka pa rin sa industry. On the other hand, another thing that makes people belittle call center agents are the transition in morals. So bottomline is, 1 part of the cause for belittling of call center agents are from the low standards that are set nowadays and the other part is caused by what the call center agents do. So wag kayo mag over react.

Woooh. Tulog muna ko. Hahaha. Mabilis nga naman ang karma. LTE na. Good vibes sa lahat :)

  60. I work in HR recruitment for a large BPO - it's not just the call center industry, it's business process outsourcingby the way. To dispel any ignorant comments here about just anybody being able to get the job of a BPO employee, it isn't just about reading a script. It's about comprehension and customer service skills, often for trouble-shooting and customer support. It requires rigorous training. So if someone has no qualifications like English skills beyond the basic hello-sir-ma'am, they won't make the cut. Judging from half the commenters here who make those sweeping judgments that it's a low skill job, just shows exactly what kind of people don't know what the industry is about. And yes, they won't probably be qualified for employment at this industry either.

  64. It's wrong to degrade other's profession. It maybe just delivered the wrong way, wrong words were used; or the other party take it the wrong way..
Kung nagttrabaho ka as a call. center agent, tpos tinamaan ka, malamang, totoo.. Pero kung alam mong mali sila, so what? You, yourself, know what is right, what is correct.
Ethically and morally, it isnt right to degrade one's job or profession.
And all you degree holders, those who graduated with flying colors, but working in the said industry, it has been your choice all along to work as an agent, you decided on it, so suck it up at face life!
