that's because theater singers often sings w/o mics so they really need to enunciate words clearly para marining ng mga tao in the theater even the farthest audience, well modulated din sila, kung nakaka panod kayo ng mga theater plays pure voice lang talaga sila w/ minimal musical accompaniment, and controlled masyado ang environment pag theater, walang ingay.. unlike singers like Sarah and Rachelle live performances sila madalas lage, with cheering crowds, loud music etc. That doesn't mean however na poor in enunciation non theater singers, clear naman sila Sarah and Rachelle haters lang talaga yung iba kaya nega comment!

1:34, yeah she has matured along with her voice but her maturity doesn't give her voice any improvement. Instead, it seems to have deteriorated over time. There are many singers out there at her age that have managed to maintain the genuineness of their voices, or even became unique as they matured. So, it's not the maturity but an inability to preserve her voice.

ReplyDeleteBecause Lea is a high-class, Broadway diva. Di siya baduy na pangmasa ang levels unlike Sarah and Rachelle where their fans are part of the masa as well. Only educated people who watch Broadway plays can truly appreciate Lea's singing ability.

Deletethat's because theater singers often sings w/o mics so they really need to enunciate words clearly para marining ng mga tao in the theater even the farthest audience, well modulated din sila, kung nakaka panod kayo ng mga theater plays pure voice lang talaga sila w/ minimal musical accompaniment, and controlled masyado ang environment pag theater, walang ingay.. unlike singers like Sarah and Rachelle live performances sila madalas lage, with cheering crowds, loud music etc. That doesn't mean however na poor in enunciation non theater singers, clear naman sila Sarah and Rachelle haters lang talaga yung iba kaya nega comment!

Delete1:34, yeah she has matured along with her voice but her maturity doesn't give her voice any improvement. Instead, it seems to have deteriorated over time. There are many singers out there at her age that have managed to maintain the genuineness of their voices, or even became unique as they matured. So, it's not the maturity but an inability to preserve her voice.

I'm such a proud popster, and at the same time, i absolutely adore Ms. Lea to pieces. Uhhhh hello? Disney was my life when i was a kid. LOL Of course i love Ms. Lea! i like the comment above about being a popster and a Lea fan. I'm an 'educated jeje'! I find it hysterical how some bashers like to generalize a whole fanbase based on the few psychotic fans on here. Oh well. Deletelea did a good job and she sounds originally from the r kelly song na di dapat gayahin, sarah also fine and did the good job i can see her own version not make modulate her voice to make gaya in other version of other singer. rachelle i dont think so first of all i am honest lang she trying hard to make modulate ng boses na parang negra lol. and one thing if you can notice you wont be understand the words of the song kasi inaartehan ung pag kanta. poor rachelle. this only a criticism that she will know her mistakes and she can improve and be herself.

She's reaaly good, she held out her part very well. her voice was not meant to cut through, but to support. there's a big difference in the type of voices the three are equipped with. let's just accept that they're good in their own respectful forte.
