Darryl Shy for me. I can't seem to take Mitoy seriously. Maski serious yung song e feeling ko novelty singer yung kumakanta. And can you really imagine a Mitoy song on the radio?
Darryl Shy is definitely more deserving than mitoy. Hindi ko naaappreciate yung pasigaw na pabulyaw na pangbeerhouse na style ni mitoy. Hindi mo na alam kung nasa tono ba o hindi tapos di na maappreciate yung melody kasi nasasapawan na ng pagsisigaw niya. I think Lea is basing her decision on their whole performances not only the performance they made in that night. And I think, she also determines if who among of her team has a versatile talent.

Mitoy has a wider voice range. It's not fair to say yun at yun lang ang kaya nya. However, the performance of Darryl last Sunday struck a lot of Pinoys' conscience. He sang a song that is relevant to what the Filipinos are undergoing right now, misuse of public funds and all hell that comes with it. That's probably why, if it is indeed true, his song was the most downloaded The Voice Phil song in iTunes. But then again, it is about The Voice, kaya si Mitoy ang nanalo. Ang pintas ko lang kay Mitoy, while his coach, Lea, notices the need for enunciation for other artists, she lets Mitoy get away with it. He badly needs to enunciate the lyrics of his English songs. I hope that the The Voice will pave the way for the gifted performers like Darryl to continue to shine in the music industry.
For me kanyang kanya strategy lang yan, alam naman nating na malakas si mitoy pag maramihan na. I get dapat ibase nang coach sa performance na yon pero hindi mo naman masasabi na talagang na out preform ni darryl si mitoy. Kung akong tatanungin mo si lea ang may pinaka malakas na team, at if ever magka album si mitoy at darryl im sure si mitoy ang mas makakadami sales because masyodong old fashion si darryl.
Actually.i'm thinking if mitoy will win and release his album, bibili ba kayo kung puro birit at jukebox ang songs? I would appreciate it if ibang genre or old songs na may emotions or standard songs na may twist. Nakakáumay na kasi tapos very predictable ung result pag sa kanya na.
I don't think mas makakadami ng album sales si Mitoy. Who would you rather listen to any time of the day, whatever mood you are in? Mukhang nakakastress yata yung puro pasigaw ni Mitoy. IMO, I'd rather listen to Darryl Shy, relaxing and chill lang.

I'll go for daryl shy mas may depth yung boses nya unlike mitoy na sa pasigaw dinadala ang kanta. After last sunday's performance I doubt kung mas marami ang favor kay mitoy.
actually, i think what bamboo did is to again "experiment" on Lee Grane, sabi nga nya, she's ready, she's got charisma and all but then the public took a stand...kahit pa si lee grane ang binigyan ni bamboo ng 60%, di pa din sya mananalo dahil malaki ang lamang ni paolo sa kanya...
dapat ang manalo sa the voice ph is kayang kumanta ng kahit ano. in fairness, magaling yung performance ni darryl kesa kay mitoy, pero parang same style lang ng songs ang pwede sa boses nya. si mitoy naman, mas malawak ang genre na pwedeng kantahin pero minsan dinadaan na lang sa birit. may times na medyo sablay ang pagkanta nya rito... kaya controversial ang decision ni lea.

Napakalungkot. Sad. Disappointed. This just proves sakin na talagang scripted. Because una pa lang lea said na 'mag iiwan siya nang alaala' sa kantang ito. - So you know na hindi si Daryl ang pipiliin nya. And she also said sa comment nya na 'whatever happens, I know na number one sa iTunes and kanta mo'. To me, it implied na alam na nyang pipiliin nya si mitoy even before the latter performs. I respect Lea, I thought she wouldn't join a scripted competition. She was the only person I thought I know na hindi papatol sa ganoon because she's been through a lot of 'true shows'. I gave this show the benefit of the doubt because of her. Parang nawawala na trust ko.

Since the show started, I already had a feeling that there is favoritism in the show.
My concept of favoritism in relation to the show is "CONNECTION" to the judges and to some artists at ABS and not "GREAT OR BEAUTIFUL SINGING VOICE". They should have used "CONNECTION" as show's title and NOT "The Voice".

I get dapat ibase nang coach sa performance na yon pero hindi mo naman masasabi na talagang na out preform ni darryl si mitoy. Kung akong tatanungin mo si lea ang may pinaka malakas na team, at if ever magka album si mitoy at darryl im sure si mitoy ang mas makakadami sales because masyodong old fashion si darryl.
ReplyDeleteActually.i'm thinking if mitoy will win and release his album, bibili ba kayo kung puro birit at jukebox ang songs? I would appreciate it if ibang genre or old songs na may emotions or standard songs na may twist. Nakakáumay na kasi tapos very predictable ung result pag sa kanya na.

ReplyDeleteLETS ALL GO FOR RADHA! I was really rooting for the 'PERFORMER' may it be Daryl or someone else na hindi sumusunod sa stupid 'agos' at gumagawa nang sariling identity. Hindi yung mataas range nang boses, mataas ganito mataas ganyan. I love Mitoy, he's humble and all, but in this battle? DARYL won in my opinion. Yung performance ni daryl to be honest gave me goosebumps on many occasions sa song,very touching. I was truly moved. Yung kay Mitoy, gave me goosebumps and touched my heart sa INTRO lang.

ReplyDeleteI bet one of the reason kung bakit mataas ang votes ni Darryl is strategy ng ibag fans na ilaglag ang magaling sa kabilang team para sa finals yung bet nila ang manalo.. although, darryl sang/ and singing very well. but let's all admit imitation lang din sya ng genre nya.. and if you'll listen very carefully, hindi masyadong pulido ang low notes nya... well though I am not fan of Mitoy, give credits when credit is due! wag manood ang mga bitter, and for those who appreciate talents, let's support!! besides BAD ang maging TALANGKA!

ReplyDeleteNapakalungkot. Sad. Disappointed. This just proves sakin na talagang scripted. Because una pa lang lea said na 'mag iiwan siya nang alaala' sa kantang ito. - So you know na hindi si Daryl ang pipiliin nya. And she also said sa comment nya na 'whatever happens, I know na number one sa iTunes and kanta mo'. To me, it implied na alam na nyang pipiliin nya si mitoy even before the latter performs. I respect Lea, I thought she wouldn't join a scripted competition. She was the only person I thought I know na hindi papatol sa ganoon because she's been through a lot of 'true shows'. I gave this show the benefit of the doubt because of her. Parang nawawala na trust ko.

Hindi yung pipili lang ng makakalaban. Lilitaw at lilitaw ang gusto ng judges and/or producers. Sobrang mali. For me. What do you think? This is an honest opinion and expression of disappointment from a The Voice fan.

I really wanted Daryll to win. I have voted for him.
I also like Penelope but she lost because she was competed against Thor who is also a favorite.
Since the show started, I already had a feeling that there is favoritism in the show.
My concept of favoritism in relation to the show is "CONNECTION" to the judges and to some artists at ABS and not "GREAT OR BEAUTIFUL SINGING VOICE". They should have used "CONNECTION" as show's title and NOT "The Voice".

Sorry ABS CBN you have destroyed the original show's concept.
